Where in Dhaka is DCC, zone-07?

My mom live in the USA but her Bangladeshi passport has expired so Bangladeshi consulate office in USA told her to send someone in DCC-zone 07 to make her birth certificate in English.

Any advice how to make her Bengali birth certificate in English in Dhaka is much appreciated!

How much is it?
How long does it take?

What else should I know to get this paper urgently?

Thanks a lot!

Learning resources strategist position in Salt Lake City

I just spoke with recruiter about this role.

I’m a teacher in nyc making 85k. The job requires relocation (I don’t have any problem) and going to office 5 days a week with $70k. Never been to Utah & I grew up in nyc (people of color).

Also recruiter said to get sick day off or to get vacation, I need to get approved by manager which I never heard off before since teaching is my first career.

Should I go for next round of interview? What’s the studio cost near the campus?

G adventure trip

First time visiting Morocco at the end of the August for 2 weeks. Below is my trip map.

What I must bring with me from USA since I’ve never experienced this hot temperature (NYC native).

Should I bring huge water bottle or hydration bladder?

What cloths as a woman should I bring?

What else I must know before I begin my trip?

Is Visa card accepted everywhere? If not, should I bring dollar?

How much money should I bring since it’s only me & I’m a budget traveler. Occasionally I like to eat in a good place but that’s all.

Thanks for any advice!

Teaching job in Panajachel

Hoy tuve una entrevista con la academia multicultural Atitlan. No hablo español y el trabajo no requiere eso. Nunca he estado en Guatemala. Soy una mujer de 30 años de EE. UU.

Today I had an interview with Atitlan multicultural academy. I don’t speak Spanish and job doesn’t require that. I’ve never been to Guatemala. I’m a 30 years old woman from USA.

Does anyone know how is the school, kids, admin?

Is the city safe for single woman? Can I save money with 6000 gtq salary since I have to come to USA to visit family.

Job said every 90 days I have to go through visa renewal process which I don’t have any idea about. How much does it take? Is the process stressful?

I also don’t want to share room with anyone and I want my own bathroom & kitchen so how much does a studio cost & is it easy to find?

Any advice/ information will be appreciated!

How do you cut off relationships with parents?

Has anyone here cut off your relationship with your parents. I want to do it badly but very scared at the same time. I really don’t care if they become homeless or not at this point.

The main reason being, for them I can’t pursue my dream life to leave USA & do whatever I want to because I have to financially support them. They are able to work but choose not to & they require me to give them money every month in nyc. For reference I’m a (31f).

Thanks for any suggestions!

I need out for more $$$$$

I love my job for most of the days. But my salary isn’t sustainable in nyc with 3 members household (pls don’t ask why my parents doesn’t work). I make $84k, 5th year teaching. I have bachelor in biology and masters in science education. I’m open to any roles such as youth development, museum, science education (outside of classroom), training and development, environmental science.

I’d love to know what helped you to get a new role outside of the classroom? I have been applying with resume & cover letter that aligned with each jobs and sending messages to hiring team on LinkedIn but I’m not receiving any interviews yet.

Any advice would be really appreciated on how to get interviews. Thank you so much in advance.
