Hi guys. A lil input of mine.
I think gourmand fragrances are very volatile by nature.
They smell diff day to day.
And they have the maximum number of polarizing reviews.
Other perfumes may not suit someone's taste. But gourmands smell diff. To diff people from.the sameee bottle. And infact even to the same person even daily.
Atleast what i experience with my gourmands and vanillas.
I love gourmands but they are too unreliable to be a signature scent FOR ME.
Hence have to sway towards fruity.
And kinda have to just ditch the idea of gourmands.

As an Indian girl who has lived abroad.
I noticed one thing.
I've seen only Indian parents discourage their daughters from looking pretty and exploring beauty.
Every other culture, encourages young women to grow into themselves.
While these cultures are toxic in their own way. Why are Indian parents or mothers like this?!?!?
Not only that. They dont want us to look pretty, while at the same time, comparing their daughters to someone of another ethnicity an saying she's not pretty enough. Like what?!?
PS-im discussing a very average Indian family..ofc it doesnt happen In alll Indian families.
And neither does it happen with me. I jus notice it happening to other girls sometimes.

Just random thoughts written together.
We basically started receiving hate for simply being women, since we were 10 or 12, in school.
Even making our selves look simply presentable was looked down upon. And we were scolded for it.
"Who are you doing this for?" , "who are you trying to impress?".
How can a grown adult say such cheap things to a KID?!?!
We were basically taught to erase everything we wanted to do..much like in a toxic relationship.
Meanwhile, outside the school, the world only cares about looks.
I came across some videos where girls' clothes are being torn(tye pockets), at an exam centre. so they don't carry any notes. Well, I guess we all know it wasn't about tye cheating in exams. Its simply hating on young girls coming into their own.
And the Comments one teacher passed on girls who happened to fail an exam, "Pata Hai shaadi karke Ghar pe baithna Hai. But 10th fail se koi shaadi bhi nahi karega".
(I know you wanna get married and sit at home. But no one will marry a 10th fail)
To a kid in 9th or 10th standard. Like dude, is your own marriage okay?!
Back then I felt this was simply how it was..now I realize how mess it really is
Simply using Vaseline was frowned upon as it was "gloss".

I had high hopes from.Kayali. but even she has alot of musk's. While some are still good. Some are a miss.
