Is this an accurate description of what Jojoba oil does for the hair?

This bottle says jojoba oil penetrates the inside of hair shaft and reduces the swelling and shrinking of hair as it goes from wet to dry. How accurate is this statement in the bottle?

Can a porole officer be helpful?

So curious to know if anyone has gone to their parole officer or had someone go to your parole officer.. with a life problem that could possibly get you a violation example your not supposed to do or a person you can't be around any thing .... Has anyone's officer been helpful like did they give you resources to get you help ? Did they help you figure out whatever your problem is?

were they helpful or did it just seem more about discipline

and repercussions not actually caring? Would love to hear

both sides if anybody has anything interesting...

What are pet parents giving their senior dogs for protein?

My little guy is 16 and the muscles around his back bones seems to have atrophied or weakened. What are some good ways to get him some protein and build his muscle mass back? He’s pretty healthy otherwise, his vet continues to be impressed by him.

Librarian reminds us that libraries make us a harder target for authoritarianism. Equal access to info, ideas, and space that doesn’t require a purchase to belong. Also: using the library means money stays in your community instead of streaming out to Amazon

Coily girlies, what do you use to slick your edges.

Summer is here so nothing holds even my thin edges down. I just bought some gorilla glue but curious to know what other people use.

Is that Jay-z at the beginning of Me, Myself, and I?

I don’t think I ever realized that it was Jay-z’s voice at the beginning of Me, Myself and I. Or is it at least supposed to sound like him. I think is when she was denying her relationship with him.

Post Incarceration Syndrome

After spending more than 26 years in prison, I've come to realize that one of the biggest misconceptions about incarceration is that the sentence ends the day someone walks out the prison gate.
In my experience, that's often when an entirely different struggle begins.
The physical prison gates and the mental prison gates do not open at the same time.
Over the past several years, I've been trying to put words to something I experienced and that I've seen countless others experience after long-term incarceration. That journey led me to write The Hidden Trauma of Life After Prison: The Under-Discussed Mental Health Issue of Post-Incarceration Syndrome.
The book isn't about making excuses for people who have been incarcerated. It's about starting an honest conversation about something our society rarely discusses: the psychological impact of surviving years—or decades—in prison and what it takes to truly rebuild a life afterward.
I'd genuinely like to hear from people on all sides of this issue.
If you've been incarcerated, did you struggle with things you never expected after coming home?
If you have a loved one who has been incarcerated, what changes did you notice?
If you work in corrections, mental health, criminal justice, or reentry, does this perspective resonate with what you've observed?
I'm not here to argue. I'm here to learn fro

Severe cramping after orgasm within a week before my period

If I masturbate or orgasm one week before my period then I suffer from severe cramping right after. I first noticed this when I got pregnant about 6 years ago. I would masturbate and cramp very severely afterwards. I ended up losing the pregnancy and the miscarriage didn’t hurt nearly as bad as the cramps I had after an orgasm. Today it still happens, I have to check my period calendar to make sure I’m not within a certain time frame of my period otherwise I have to expect pain from orgasms. The pain is so bad that I sweat and feel ill.

Anyone else experience this?
