Ok ba ang GreenGSM diri sa davao?

Hello! Naga consider ko GreenGSM na taxi as an alternative means of transpo unta kay medyo mahal mahal na si Grab sa transpo fares.

Thank you sa makatubag! Just need some assurance after reading horror stories about the service haha

Visa x Google Pay Maya Landers: Paano to?

Hello, so nareceive ko na ang 1,500 na refund with Maya Landers Card. Ang kaso, naconvert na to mini payments yung accumulated spend ko para di masyado mabigat sa bulsa kapag mag reflect na balance ko this month. Kala ko kasi matagal pa darating yung refund, like after SOA date.

Mag negative balance lang ba ito? Do I still need to pay the whole 1k/month? Please help me out. Baka meron din same situation dito sa akin.

Salamat.

Please help me find matte, long lasting lipsticks that are similar to this exact shade

I've been waiting forever for a restock on Shopee on this particular shade (encircled). My other options are buying it sa watsons or mall for 498 pesos. I just want to know if there are other lippie brands that carry a shade similar to this. As long as long lasting, goods na.

Not the Peach Mango Pie that I used to know.

Used to be my guilty pleasure and a childhood snack. Still yummy, but nowadays, the size reduction + price increase makes me think twice in buying it. :((

Your thoughts on Thrive Bakery + Cafe?

Hello po. I know Thrive Cafe (the one along Acacia after STI) is well-known for their breads (i.e., Spanish, Chcoco Lanay), but I want to know how is the dining experience in the cafe mismo. Their prices seem decent na rin.

Thank you po

Does anyone else have this device? (Lenovo)

Binigyan ako ng Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 3 for a smaller, on-the go device para dalhin sa work. I use it as a laptop. It came with a cover na rin, but it's showing obvious signs of wear and tear. I'm trying to find it a case/cover? but after several days of looking on online shopping platforms, the ones I find are either too expensive (second pic) or questionable or risky. The one who gave it to me cannot recall anymore kung saan nya binili yung current cover nya na naga fall apart na, pero sabi nila it costed them also over 1k.

Just wondering if meron ba user dito with the same device. Apparently di sya gaano ka well-known dito sa Pinas or something? How do you purchase a cover for this?

Taga North ako so sana at least sa downtown lang.

First Time ko pumunta ng BGC!

I loved my stay sm 🥹 grabe ka liberating and comfortable mag stay dito. For the first time I don't feel judged sa mga sinusuot ko when out and about. I will definitely come back here for sure when given the time and money ❤️ hanggang sa muli!

Other memorable firsts:

-First time magkain sa Din Tai Fung and have Chagee

-First time mag Zara

-First time mag meet ng online friend

Going to BGC for the first time!

I'm from Southern Philippines. I'm excited to explore what BGC has in store for this girl who barely gets opportunities to travel.

Just hoping for less to no negative experiences, or discrimination.

Have a great week po!

Visiting Makati soon, any tips for what to avoid / try?

First time to post here po. Coming from Mindanao and we will be in Manila next week, as people who don't frequent Manila. We will be staying in mostly BGC but have a day trip to Makati with my relatives. We have a private driver so transpo is out of the question na. Other than "keep your phone especially when you don't need it" or "secure your bag at all times", what else should I keep in mind?

Anything is appreciated po. Thank you. I hope the discussion will be nice 🥺💖

Can someone help me find this dress in shopping platforms?

Hello, I got interested in this certain dress in the pic below. Hindi na available for my size ang black color (S) and I don't do good in grey color. I use Tiktok and Shopee for shopping. Baka meron kayong dress similar to this but under a different name / brand / store. Pahelp naman po ako 😅 thank you po!

Hello po. May flight ako next week sa Manila via CebPac. Balak namin magdala ng 20kls pomelo in flight. First time kasi namin mag use CebPac na magdala ng pomelo. Thank you!!

Grabeng hassle inabot ng BPI app

As of 6am, or even a little before that, maaccess na si BPI app. Bit slow, sure, pero baka kinakapa pa. What I find annoying is having to setup the mobile key AGAIN, which I attempted to do a few times before giving up haha. Kasi nag fail eh, nag show ang ganung message.

Since its downtime from 1pm yesterday until earlier morning, it occurred to me that this is one of the instances na pwede natin sabihin na wag ipark lahat ng pera sa isang app. Dapat ma distribute sa ibang e-wallets. I have small amount of cash with me, pano nalang if wala? Nakakaabala talaga.

Edited to add: Ang interesting na nangyari though, nag renew yung GrabUnli membership ko with that card at 2am. 😅 so baka ok ang card transactions online

Migrating to Australia as a Mental Health professional?

Hello, I'm new here to this sub. I also searched this sub for relevant or similar posts before posting this.

I'm seeking for any insights that may help me in the long run. I'm a licensed psychometrician, currently taking my Master's in Psychology, major in Clinical Psychology, and estimate to finish at 30-something years old (I'm 27 and only part-time). Tagal ko na alam na Australia has its demands for Psychologists / mental health professionals. To those who have been in the same path/goal, can you share your insights about your journey? From post-boards to migration to mental health work culture? Australia would be my back up plan if my WFH goal won't work out.

Aside from that, I want to give my parents a more comfortable life since retired na sila.

Thank you po. Other tips are also welcome (other countries to practice my degree, etc.)

Tote Bags with Sling for Big Laptops

I've been checking shopee for bags that can fit my needs. So far itong Island Elephant and Bagsmart are competing against each other haha.

About my needs:

-I will buy a laptop pouch to ensure security of the laptop

-The laptop is sized at 15.6"

-I do not carry much. Laptop, Packed lunch, Personal Hygiene Kit, Umbrella, Wallet, Aquaflask (usually carried in my hand especially when full) and small other things like Keys.

-I feel like carrying the Chantria Bag will cause back problems in the later run

-must have a sling so i can balance between carrying each shoulder

-already checked Tigernu

Feel free to recommend me within my budget: 1k-2k

Beginner-friendly matcha..?

Taste profile: Akong preference man gud kay dili kaayo isog na matcha , and at the same time not too sweet, kanang payts ra. Murag matcha latte man ang tawag sa ing.ana? Ambot haha

Salamat po kaayo. Okay ra ko maski unsa na price point (from Pickup Coffee to Starbucks to Artisan cafes) basta dili masayang akong kwarta 🥺

Please do not wait for the time that susuko na ang tao sayo. Be an open communicator.

I just feel bad for my supervisor at work. May rendering kami na staff and these past few days kahit rendering days nya sana, absent siya. I'm talking absent as in 5 days absent for the WHOLE WEEK. Sakitin yun, and we're trying to understand. Okay, so that's given.

Pero there are some times na hindi nya sabihin sa amin ng supervisor kung papasok sya or hindi. She does this often. For this week, she only informed the person na papalit sa kanya.

Our supervisor got fed up and sent a long message to her about this pattern of behavior and how she's sick of it. How we also deserve to know as her higher colleagues, etc.

She told me,

"Alam mo, I'm slowly starting not to care anymore. I'm being a friend, I'm being a good supervisor. I only want her to be well. But I'm not looking forward to the despedida next payday anymore."

Kaya ayun, don't wait for someone to give up. Communication can be crucial.
