Hello 👋 everyone It's that time again just dropping in to lay some ground rules regarding spoilers for the dlc just like the launch of CV2 please don't put a story/boss spoiler in your title and tag your post with the spoiler flair with that out of the way everyone have a great time exploring the the new update/dlc 🤠

One thing that DD2 and, by extension, DD1 skimped out on was the use of the dragon; we only see him two times, and we're told he's a threat, but he shows up and trauma dumps about working overtime, and he wants to quit but can't, and that's it. I'm hoping the fallen dragon is similar to death, and given his undying nature, it's similar to the ur-dragon mechanic, but instead of running away, he just revives stronger. At least until we've dealt with it in the story, it should be a random encounter in the open world. Here's hoping repeated runs are like post-Daimon, where the fallen dragon has a new phase/moves.

I know people talked about journalists sleeping with reviewers to get better reviews but like what game sucked so bad people believed it was propped up by people fucking reviewers

Edit:just for clarification I'm not talking about any people involved I'm just trying to figure out was there an actual game at the epicenter because calling a movement "gamergate " but there's no actual game is dumb

I noticed it said we'll be able to explore the world post game I'm curious what other QOL updates we'll get maybe they'll be scalling and changes to ng+ cycles what do y'all think and hope is in the new update

Like, at least let us observe a more "expedited" cycle to get a feel of how heavy the burden is and fight an arisen, but this time with the roles reversed, or we could rule a kingdom and introduce new gameplay mechanics. I just feel like we go through all these trials and tribulations to attain great power and status, but we don't get to relish in it. We're told of the consequences that the cycle burdens you with, but we're unable to experience it. We go through every part of the Arisen's burden but the apex of it, you know what do y'all think?

They're the only person that posts and half of their posts contradict their other posts it's strange

Just curious what's yalls favorite piece of lore it can be anything small or big obscure or mainstream
