My reasonings are:

1. I just think it’s odd to lock any gameplay features behind paywalls. Why do I need to pay to play part of the game?

2. all of the other classes have “class buffs” that barely do anything for you, and do not spice up the gameplay as much. Secret agent is the only one who is the exception due to the gun, which he can actually use to fight against anomalies—something no other class can do efficiently. Why would you lock one of the only remotely game changing classes behind a large paywall? I find that both stupid, and a bit fucked up.

3. While you can buy the gun in the shop, its very rare to get in the shop—and even if it’s available, its a shit load of money.

disclaimer - this is not going to be a real asym game on roblox, nor anywhere else. I have no interest in making it one, and even if I did, I don’t know how.

Basic story: in an unnamed city, killers have been tearing apart cities and lives. Murdering and trashing whatever they can, all with different motives and methods of doing so. As a killer, you are tasked with being the demise of each player. As a survivor, you must survive these attacks with the abilities at your disposal.

Survivor cast:

Sidney - a partygoer put in an unfortunate situation of life or death. She is part of the team as a healer, having special technology and consumables that allow for regeneration and extremely fast healing.

Benedict - a former CIA agent, now tasking himself with helping protect innocents who have become targets of the mass murderers that now roam the streets. He is a sentinel mixed with a support, armed with a gun and tracking technology, along with deployable cameras that can flashbang killers.

Amy - A godlike angel from a different dimension, rebelling against a twisted belief system. Summoned to aid the world in its current state, she provides support, defense, and healing. Armed with her magic and a special bow and arrow, she is one of the best chances in winning this war, being able to rival the strongest killer currently active.

Weaver - an odd creature from somewhere in the world far away, an arachnid like thing with abilities that back that up. He has ways to stun and harm the killer with his webs and spider-like tendrils on his back. Though, he doesn’t seem to care too much about the others.

Jason - a former assassin taken in by Sidney, who has now resigned as one and has dedicated his life to protecting. He is armed with a sniper and gear to assist him in escaping chase, being a more solo person.

and now, for our villains:

The parasitic - a broken scientist who searched for power to protect others, now being nigh-controlled and piloted by a parasite that grew inside of him that all started from an injection that was supposed to supply him with powers. It worked, but at what costs? He now roams the world, and with his universe-destroying power, he eradicates whatever he can and spreads his parasite. Maybe things could’ve turned out differently.

Gentleman Jack - a highly trained serial killer. Deadly with his combat abilities and weapons, and powerful with his money and influence. Armed with a sword concealed inside of a cane, a shovel, and two extra knifes, he will slash and stab through any obstacle in his way. A motiveless monster.

Flint - a demon from somewhere else, pyrokinetic, violent, and sadistic in nature. He will burn through anything he pleases, turning homes to ash, punching through people effortlessly, and using his telekinesis to tear cities out of their place.

Malign - Another godlike “angel“ from another, familiar dimension, fueled by his beliefs bestowed upon him and his desire for carnage, he uses his shadow magic and raw strength and speed to kill anything that moves. An example of one following a twisted belief system, another being who could’ve been saved.

Ringleader - a magician gone mad, using her tricks and powers to slaughter all she can see. With her illusions, mind games, and trickery, she enjoys breaking victims before finally ending them.

It was fun to come up with characters, and I’ll probably fully fledge them out more.

I can’t even get the right fucking UI, and I can’t animate without it because I don’t know how. I have complicated fight animations and AMV’s I want to do, but I fucking can’t because flipaclip isn’t letting me switch to the different, BETTER UI.

As much as I like the game, it has so, so many problems. Let’s get into it, huh?

Gameplay

Generally, the gameplay is extremely repetitive with nothing to do. If you play solo, you check in patients and cure them. Its not hard. If you play with friends, it’s just easier and more boring than before. There’s nothing to do after shifts, its just one after another, and there’s barely any stakes. If you have half a brain, you can catch an anomaly every time they’re at check in.

I genuinely think if this game had after shifts mini-games (like the concepts I made in this post), or at least extra things to do outside of the hospital, it would be a much better game. But its only the same thing with barely any variation over.. and over.. and over again, there’s no substance.

I honestly could not imagine playing this with an entire friend group, because at most, two friends can probably make it to shift 100 in an hour or two with like.. 3 fails.

Visuals

The visuals are strange. Not the AI, I don’t care about that, but the models.. they trash concept art that was better than what we get, there models are generally odd, but they don’t lean into it as much as they should, and the entities generally don’t look serious. In world, the entities are horrifying, but its very hard to take a mimic seriously when it looks like THAT.

Updates..

Look, I understand that the development team is small and they are trying, but cosmetics aren’t enough. We need actual gameplay updates beyond one new entity and a bunch of skins.

what are your thoughts or criticisms on this game?

Eldritch tentacles - Jack becomes invulnerable while reeling the user in, and for a little after they are free. you shouldn’t be punished for using a move correctly.

Teleportation - Jack becomes invulnerable when readying to teleport, and once teleported to avoid the same problem as eldritch tentacles.

Red miles - damage is 25 on hit, and they can kill. I honestly just think this move needs to be completely redone.

Behead - windup should only be like, .5 - .8 seconds. It’s incredibly easy to dodge (like all of his moves).

with these, I think he’d be.. at least decent. He’s so awful in his current state.

He honestly should just get a different kit.

what experiments/sawians would you pet, and which ones would you not pet?

I’d be willing to pet roza, expie, orange, and the rest are a large no. They’d probably hurt me in some way, especially velvet and dune.

First AU - A fluffy hail mary.

AFHM is a small AU where the gunsawians/experiments are put on a space ship, tasked with finding habitable planets, as earth somehow was destroyed or became no longer suitable for holding denizens. They are basically delivered to unknown planets, and they explore them. They have a checklist of things to consider and monitor to make sure it’s habitable for humanity, so it isn’t just guessing. They also search for any life on that planet, especially hostile life, which they are tasked to deal with in short order. Though, they leave that job to two experiments in specific..

While they technically were forced to go onto the ship, it’s actually the closest to a normal life they get, and it‘s not necessarily bad. A LARGE spaceship, their own rooms, a large kitchen and cafeteria, normal living spaces, and not shitty food. There’s more, but they are actually relatively fine on the spaceship.

the characters here are Expie/experiment, Milky, voyager, leapy, roza, velvet, orange, chik, crystal, shelly, baron, and ickle. (Well, from what I know they’re all a species, not just a single experiment, but it’s only one of each species.)

On it, there are 3 humans that help them with the planet stuff. Mostly with things they need technology for that they don’t know how to operate (like examining the atmosphere, normal temperatures, etc etc). They don’t interact with the experiments/gunsawians much, which is actually by a rule that the company made so they don’t get attached.

Phantom is also there, he and velvet function as the main executor for any hostile life found on planets. (Or, just any life, for phantom.)

this is still being developed, so, ‘scuse if its odd at the moment.

second AU - rats in a restaurant

RIAR is basically all the gunsawians/experiments, but working in a special restaurant by the company. They function as most of the staff, with some humans working with them.

thats it. Not much to say. They all work in a restaurant, it often has chaos, and Roza is the waiter.. for some reason. (Why they hired the shy gunsawian to be the waiter, the one who talks to others the most, is a mystery.)

trivia/fun facts on AFHM:

1. There are respawn/revival machines that the experiments/gunsawians use to.. well, respawn if killed by hostile life on planets, or because Phantom keeps killing everyone.

2. Phantom is, oddly enough, not really feared amongst the other gunsawians and experiments as much as he is disliked. While he shows genuine kindness at times, he is basically a bully who is too powerful to fight back against.

3. Roza has accidentally frozen like, 10 pieces of equipment. Usually whenever she is drunk.

4. Voyager once tried to pilot the giant spaceship, and nearly crashed it into a huge asteroid. He was banned from the control room ever since.

5. Roza is banned from monitoring temperature with the thermostat or thermometer gun, as she kept accidentally cooling it due to her chilling touch, and kept fucking with the reading because of it.

trivia/fun facts on RIAR:

1. Voyager often fights with the other staff, and has punched customers in the face.

2. Surprisingly, velvet doesn’t sabotage food or orders. It’s orange who does that, albeit, on accident.

3. I’m still working on roles, give me a little.

while I think we all agree mark isn’t stronger than nolan yet, would you say he has some things over Nolan?

personally, I’d say mark has striking strength, endurance, and blunt durability over Nolan.

Made conquest bleed consistently with most of his hits (both in season 3 and 4), while Nolan couldn’t.

very obviously has a better endurance, do I have to show reasoning?

I feel like Nolan would’ve been a bit more injured than Mark by all of the non-holding back conquest punches mark took in his second battle with conquest, but that’s probably a hot take.

So, Phantom used to have different lore slightly on how he turned so fucking evil.

Currently, he just got an affinity towards violence after killing someone on accident when he broke out of his cell late at night. Just, pure evil.

However, his old lore was finding some odd parasite within the facility. Some kind of facility experiment to see if a lab grown parasite or virus could be made with their tools. It latched onto him, infected his bloodstream, and essentially possessed him.

What one do you prefer? won’t determine if I change it, but I am curious.

1. Phantom is not naturally malicious, but quickly got an affinity towards violence after accidentally breaking out of his cell late at night and killing someone on complete accident.

2. Phantoms skeleton is completely black, and he’s the only experiment or gunsawian with blood that isn’t yellow. His blood is red.

3. no experiments have been performed on him, scientists didn’t have the time to. Only thing they did before the incident was taking a swab of saliva for examination to see what his dna looked like due to being mostly lab grown Instead of a combination of a bunch of animals and some human dna.

4. They once sent some weird grounded satellite thing onto the gunsaw planet or whatever it’s called, it was meant to try and track down and retrieve Phantom. It got torn up and thrown somewhere into space, and that’s all they know. They haven't recovered a single chunk of it.

5. The reason I made phantom such a fucking menace to.. everything.. is because I thought it was funny that a one of a kind experiment could fuck up things so much.

6. Phantom doesn’t need to eat or drink, his body is self sustaining, but he has ate parts of gunsawians he killed before.

7. Phantom is.. actually not able to be body swapped or swap his body. The technology doesn’t work on him due to his unique properties, and he himself doesn’t have that technology.

8. Out of all of the gunsawians, Velvet and Shelly are his two favorites.

9. Due to being asked this question by powerscaling friends on discord, I’d say his best lifting and brute strength “feat“ is ripping apart a space satellite robot thing MADE to apprehend him, and then throwing it so far into space its never been recovered. For striking… I do not know, probably being able to punch through barons (literally shoving his fist through them), experiments that are presumably more durable than humans, with very little effort.

10. Phantom is actually very average looking besides being on par, and even taller than some humans in height. You wouldn’t expect him to be able to do shit like rip people in half.

Example: wall level.

You’d think that means they can break a normal wall, right?

..apparently, punching through a HUMAN BEING is “wall level.”

That’s a fucking stupid name if shit like that qualifies for wall level.

I love this show. Funny, action packed, beautifully animated, and generally just great. Good writing and premise, great characters, and way too funny at times.

The characters are one of the best parts, each of their backstories is very well done and all of them have their own lovable twists. Especially Weasel’s, didn’t expect him to actually be a good guy and have tried to save the children in the burning building. I enjoy how each of their stories are similar, but also very different. All of them being tragic, but in different ways.

This show has had some of the funniest moments I’ve seen from the shows I’ve watched, doctor phosphorus and Richard steal the show for comedy. “Does it look like I gave a shit?” “I’m currently on your back in an INCREDIBLY uncomfortable position.”, and so much more. But the other characters have some pretty funny scenes too.

The animation is great. Especially with the gore and effects on characters powers, like phosphorus for example. Reminds me of invincible.

However, I do have one, major complaint. Inconsistency is very prevalent in this show, especially with powers. Especially with phosphorus.Examples:

Richard being able to win the fight against phosphorus, someone with extreme physical strength (able to punch through people like nothing) and all of his other powers.

Phosphorus worried that people’s hands will melt off if they touch him, despite showing he can control his temperature.

The guards being around the pool in the finale, but then disappearing a few minutes later, only to reappear.. from the trees?

Bride being able to stab through circe’s keg with a shard of glass, despite circe being an AMAZON.

Frankenstein being bulletproof, but richard being able to hurt him with his kicks and punches.

and many, MAAAANNNYYYY more.

However, I still love this show.

1. The interns we can play as do have names, given to them by co-workers. The tan one is Nathen, the blue one is bloke, and the pink one is pinkie. However, most just call them “intern”. However, there is only one actual intern in the hospital, that being the tan one. (more of a theory than a headcanon, but whatever)

2. The intern has grown bitter towards most of his co-workers, as they show obvious prejudice/dislike or obvious disrespect to him because he’s an entity. He understands that some other entities are dangerous, but he’s never done anything to hurt someone innocent. Not on purpose. He still is nice to them on the surface, but he isn’t as patient with them as he’d be with patients or other animals in general.

3. The interns entity power list goes as follows: Super strength, super stamina, enhanced durability, super hearing, and enhanced speed. He can fight most entities, like headbangers, hiders, and the things with the giant mouths, but the stalkers are easily stronger than smilers/interns.

4. The only two who do not treat the intern differently are the psychologist and the nurse (not head nurse, the other nurse). He greatly appreciates it and views them as friends.

5. The intern dislikes the vending machine near the shop, as it never works properly when he uses it.

6. He has a suspicion of barney being an entity due to him having an irregular heartbeat, but won‘t hurt or threaten barney until he gets better proof.

7. Interns/smilers are not forced to smile by any means, they simply can lock muscles at will. This is sort of like relaxing a muscle to them, and their “relaxed muscle” face is that creepy ass grin. They usually don’t drop it unless something really bad is happening.

8. His least favorite co-workers are secret agent, surgeon, and security, as they all treat him the worst. Especially secret agent.

9. intern/smilers actually have claws that can easily rip through a body, and certain metals.

1. Secret agents main job is to kill anyone who finds cures or nigh-cures to common, yet fatal, diseases or viruses, like cancer for example. Those sicknesses make so much money, why cure it?..

2. if the intern found our what Secret agent has been doing, he’d kill secret agent without a second thought.

he moves odd, light reflects off of the cloak wrong, he looks artificial. I’m not saying he’s AI (though, possible), but he fucking looks weird.

am I just insane?

so, throughout his gameplay, you’d be able to find notes scientists and higher ups made about Phantom. They are all bellow.

NOTE 1 - day of creation.

”we have created a new experiment from mostly lab made DNA, dubbed ‘phantom’ due to its white coat. We’ve yet to really observe it, but we suspect it should be a success and a new step in our progress towards fully lab grown experiments.”

NOTE 2 - unnamed.

”we’ve made a mistake. We have made an irreversible mistake. Phantom broke out of his cell concerningly easily and went on a killing spree. Exact death count is unknown, but suspected to be above 20. Reportedly, he is unaffected by our guards’ guns. what have we done.”

NOTE 3 - hope.

”he has willingly gotten back into his new cell, strangely enough. He seems content to be held there as long as we do not disturb him. He implemented an explosive brain chip in his head to track him and in emergency. We hope this can hurt him if it has to.”

NOTE 4 -

“after a lengthy debate with higher ups, the brain chip was detonated unprompted. It did nothing. It caused next to no damage, and what little it caused was regenerated in a few hours. we have lost all hope in killing or containing this thing properly.”

NOTE 5 - special delivery.

”we have dropped Phantom off at the planet with the other experiments, and we will observe his life on there. We only want to understand him now, and why he’s so violent.“

poorly made? yes. Funny? also yes.

The Phantom is a one of a kind, deadly experiment. Possessing abilities such as extreme strength, invisibility, extreme durability, and regeneration. This, combined with his sadistic nature and violent tendencies, make him a living weapon nothing can stop.

Armed with a knife and a lust for blood, he will slaughter indiscriminately. Unpaid and unprompted, only in it for his own twisted amusement.

As stated before, he possesses many abilities that come into his gameplay, which will now be explained:

you are armed only with a knife and your hands, you cannot pick up guns or any other weapons. It is your main tool of defense and offense, with your bare hands being your second.

on his own, he can do 3 main things UNIQUE that function as his attacks. Grab, stab, and slash. Stab has a chance to kill enemies in a single hit if it lands on the neck or head, but will normally kill in 2-4 stabs. Slash is the same, but without a chance of a one shot kill, and it generally takes more hits to end another—being around 3-5.

grab functions in two different ways, to throw and disarm. You can grab another by the neck and throw them into walls, which will deal some damage and temporarily stun them. You can also grab their gun and break it, rendering them mostly defenseless.

you are also bulletproof to a certain caliber, being immune to SOME light weapons. Lore wise, he can take a lot more, but he’s nerfed here.

However, your ability is turning completely invisible. In this state, you cannot be seen, nor can your knife be seen. However, this comes at a cost. You lose your ability to take bullets from light weapons, water fully uncloaks you, and enemies now hear you if you knock stuff over or make noise in general. This is your main tool to actually attack the enemies, as I’m sure running in head first with just a knife isn’t a good idea.

you regenerate 3 HP every second when you are injured, but the regeneration only starts if you are out of battle for more than 20 seconds.

in terms of combat speed, you are decently fast. In terms of movement speed, you’re slow. All that strength and durability comes at a cost of having bad mobility.

thats around it for his gameplay, I learned mid-way through making it that voyager could cloak and that discouraged me from adding onto it. However, onto his more lore based stuff:

Created out of a very special mix of Cat, Human, and lab grown DNA, Phantom was born a powerful, yet sadistic, experiment. He looks relatively normal, a white, anthropomorphic, fluffy cat with black eyes and beans, but he’s definitely not. From his first breath, he was violent and merciless. Killing anyone he saw. No one could contain him, his abilities allowed him to break through whatever cage he was in, so he was an extreme danger. Still is.

While most seem to get.. some enjoyment out of killing (at least, thats what I’m picking up from dialogue), he is definitely amongst those who enjoy it the most. Viewing, and treating, the others as playthings.

Fun facts about Phantom.. I guess:

1. He is one of a kind, the lab vowed to never make something like him again. There is only one Phantom, and there will never be another.
2. He is kind of a myth/urban legend amongst other experiments. You’ll hear about him, his horrific actions, but no one has ever survived an encounter with him to tell the tale.
3. the explosive chip they put in his brain proved to be useless, causing very mild injury that regenerated in a few hours.
4. he scares most other gunsawians, safe for a few. He scares them for good reason.
5. While this is obvious, His physical strength surpasses any human or experiment. He’s able to punch through another's body like its nothing and lift things well over a few tons. Though, this all comes at the cost of being slow.
6. He has nothing against the others, he just likes to kill.
7. He stole the knife he has from somewhere, too lazy to come up with where.
8. as stated before, he is unpaid. He’s doing this shit for free and has no complaints.

thats it. I have no interest in adding onto or changing him, he is a one off thing I made for a challenge on tumblr. Like him, hate him, be neutral, he wasn‘t meant to be very good in the first place.
