Question about incoming phone calls

New user here, struggling to figure out priority of incoming calls when I’m driving. Normally the call would come through the car, since I got my Apple Watch it seems like that is taking priority, unable to answer via car. Is there a way to change priority? TIA for any recommendations!

Lesson Learned Today

I recently had some extensive work done on my car and it was at the shop for over a month. They had to get a part from Germany. When I got my car back the trunk wouldn’t open. Either way, from release button inside car or open externally. I finally took it back today and TIL there is a “Valet” button inside glove box which “locks access to the trunk”. Not sure if this is common knowledge but, if I can save one person with this knowledge cool. I literally thought to myself initially to post here for insight but didn’t. 🚘
