Traffic Light

I just left the park. The traffic light at the kings dominion exit will not turn green. We sat with many others for a good 20 minutes waiting and hoping. Eventually, it got so backed up and everyone started turning right.

Please be careful, I called the non emergency number and they’re dispatching an officer to the area as we speak.

Also, the AC is still out in the park. I talked to staff and they said a part in planet snoopy caved in and messed up one of the lines. They’ve been working on it all week, and have no idea when it’ll be back up. Flight of fear is a sweatshop. Twisted Timbers went down twice. One because of weather and the second time people had to be evacuated.

Hey, atleast Pantherian is open!

Gold or Silver?

Looking for some advice on if gold or silver is better for my skin tone! I’m very pale, have freckles, and a cool undertone

Update to my last post. Tried all advice I received!

Hey everyone! I wanted to give an update to this post - https://www.reddit.com/r/MakeupAddiction/s/aWvcJqRM0Q

I took all advice I received and tried my best to recreate:

Avoided tight lining the bottom waterline

Curled the crap out of my lashes until they finally did something

Added one tiny lash cluster on each eye to give a more full lash look

Brushed my eyebrows with a spoolie to where I think they would lay with brow gel (need to get some)

Used a cool toned pale pink blush

Used a cool toned bronzer

Highlighted more areas of the face with a liquid highlighter

Blended bronzer and blush together more and pulled blush down to the apples of my cheeks

Added some brown eyeshadow liner on the top and bottom of my eyes and blended it out

Before and after pics. First photo is before, the rest are after. Let me know what yall think and what I can continue to improve on!!

Critique my makeup please! Do I look soft or like Neapolitan ice cream?

I was never a strong base girl until recently. I never used blush until maybe like a year ago, same with bronzer. Would love any feedback on my blush placement, bronzer placement, if they’re blended enough, etc. thank you!

PSA About Walking Pads - Broken Toe

Hey everyone! I want to start this post by saying this is in no means saying anything bad about walking pads because I love mine! It’s just a PSA to anyone with bad balance like myself. I recently got a Urevo walking pad from Amazon and I love it! However, today while I was walking I lost my balance, tripped, and my left foot slid off the back of the walking pad and went under the handle bars (I had them folded down). I usually fold them down as that’s easier since I put it under my desk and hold onto my desk as needed. It was immediate intense pain in my big toe. 20 or so minutes later it was significantly bruised and I knew something was wrong. Went to urgent care, they took an X-ray, sure enough I have a non displaced hairline fracture in my left big toe.

I know this was my fault and when I heal I will continue using my walking pad. For now, I am frustrated because I had finally made it a habit and this sets me back quite a bit :(

Alocasia Jacklyn 35 days of growth

Hi all!! 35 days ago I acquired an Alocasia Jacklyn and asked for help on this subreddit + did lots of research. I wanted to share how much it’s grown in a month! Picture 1 is from May 5th. Picture two is from today! I’m surprised it’s doing this well. I’ve kept it in its original soil. It sits under a grow light and I feed it with every watering. I water when the pot feels light. She’s sizing up!!

My New Alocasia Red Secret

Obsessed is an understatement

It was in a package for a few days so it’s going straight under the grow lights to perk back up!

u/FluffehWulf — 3 months ago

I picked up one of my wishlist plants today. Alocasia Jacklyn. I have done so much research on this subreddit to take care of one properly because I really want to keep it alive. I do have a few questions.

It is in a 4 inch pot. Relatively dense soil. Should I give it a few weeks to acclimate and then repot into pon with a self watering pot?

How is a self watering/wicking pot compared to straight semi hydro? What’s the difference?

I have superthrive foliage pro coming in tomorrow to give it with every watering. Should I half the dose?

Is my grow light too much for it? It’s SANSI puck grow light. I don’t want it to burn

Thank you for any advice

Hi everyone! I am getting married in April 2027! We will be heading to Disney for 4 full days afterwards (and universal after that). We’re staying at port orleans French quarter. One park per day. This is my very first time at Disney! My fiance went about 20 years ago but only to magic kingdom and he can’t remember much of it. My dream has always been to go to Disney and we are both beyond excited!! I plan on buying the bride ears to wear around along with getting the happily ever after pin to wear for both of us.

I’ve been trying to do as much research as possible. I know I want to do atleast one character dining. I’ve learned how the fast passes work.

I would like recommendations for things to plan for and romantic restaurants for me to make reservations at. Also any tips and tricks for us :) thank yall!

My monstera deliciosa had root rot. One month ago I cut off all of the roots and stuck it in this glass of water. Despite losing one leaf It’s coming back and now pushing a new leaf! It has lots of good roots now. Since it’s already been a month, I know I need to put this in soil soon. I’m afraid about putting it in soil with a new leaf coming. Should I wait for the leaf to unfurl? Thanks!

Yes there’s a pothos cutting in there with it lol

I am wanting to complete an IOTA survey for extra credit in my course at NOVA. I am an SSDL student so my class is through a different community college. Every time I click on IOTA 360 it shows no courses are available to evaluate. Are course evaluations open yet? Thanks
