Just a quick question i wanna know

I know it's a vague question. And i would understand if people find that a too complicate stuff to anwser.

But even after being specificaly ask not to, i don't find a way to "truely" do it.

Some friends told me to stop hating myself, but i just stop saying bad stuff about me in front of them. I guess that's what they want.

I don't think i am someone with lots of quality, very few things likeable about myself. First i am hideous, witch doesn't sounds like a big deal but i know society value a lot the body of a perso. Second i am someone very insecure , i have a lot of moments where i lose my shit over stuff, i am impulsive, i have several unrationnal fear like i scarred to death about the possibility of someone searching in my mind so i am afraid of psychatric and therapist even just the regular person with too much empathy and great human comprehension make me in a state of panic. My impulsive nature makes me have some crazy moments of over stimulation and some maniac episode.I am not someone very fun, friends told me i have great sens of humor but my hobbies are very niche and can stay stuck hours doing the most nerdy and stupid shit. I have bad non verbal communication, i am someone very coward i lie a lot to avoid conflict, i am a huge perv.

Well i maybe forget some stuff but you get the idea, i am not someone you wanna like. BUT i do the effort of présentation so it get me trought life so far.

The thing that keep me so wandering : why others don't hate them self ? I know there is a lot of insecure people but the majority i have met are somehow pretty happy about themself. How they do that ? Did nobody ever told them or are they ignoring they own problem ?

I some amaze by confident people, either they are doing a bigger job at lie to themself than me, or they must be amazing people

With your help i confirm what i allready thaught : i am an egotistical manipulator, i hate myself so much and i am ashamed of my conduct.

But it makes me think about a New question : as i am a bad person, is showing my true self to others better than continue liying to look more like a good person ?

The choice seems complicate and as you know with my last post, i cannot make any choice in my single life as i am a huge cowards.

I am someone with very little social skills due to my autistic nature and i think one of my strongest problem is that i don't have a lot of confidence in to others people.

Wenn someone says to me "you can tell me anything" i allways feel like it some sort of trap or at least not a honnest anwser.

Wenn someone ask me to give opinion, i allways try to say it's great , because i feel like if i says what i truely think people could not handle it.

I am very bad at conflict management, so wenn i am forcefully ask to be honnest. My change of tone is so brutal compare to my fake nice, they feel like i am threatning them , wenn i have no bad intent towards them most of the time.

So in time i begin to become more and more cynical, i try to make everyone feel great by blently liying to them just because i feel like it will go better if i lie to them. I lie people about my feeling, about my mental state, about what i feel about them (unless i don't care about them)

I am not a bad guy, or at least i try to not being seen as one.

Do people really want honnesty ? Is honnesty something people feel like it deserved ?

I feel like all the social world is a giant lie where everyone is hypocritic to everybody and such people are more happy like that.

So ran away more than i fight, i tell people what they wanna hear just to get peace , i try to act dumb wenn ask me for something wenn i judge they wanna prove their superiority. And after trying to talk about that with someone people, someone says to me

"You are acting like if every people are a pot full of burning water and they would burn you if you don't handle them with over caring and infantalize them"

To witch i respond : Yes. And from what i could imagine, my response was not well received by people , like if i said a bad word.

Do you think it's wrong to act like that ?

Or am i il the wrong doing ?

Because for my part i am not against some brutal honnesty wenn asking question, if i was against i will not post on reddit haha.

I am a begginer GM who is in search of RPG where players play cops, i want the universe to be a satire of the police officers.

Something like The Naked Gun if you seen it ; commical absurd, a universe where cops are either stupid or corrupt or both and they are doing some whacky and fun mission.

Is something like that exist ? Or what am i demanding and asking for something too specific.

Some people ask me "why do you only play bad team ?"

I try to play some good team like Humans but people offen says me that.

I know a lot of people gonna say "Play what you bro" but that not what i wanna ask

Do you think it really can damage my bloodbowl experience to not play mostly good teams for beginers ?

People told me it could discourage me and some people quit because they did not play the recommanded teams ((allegedly)

I do know his specific intresst for smithering keylock is based on real historical source based on the work of Simone Bertiere a french specialist of litterature and biography.

In the anime Louis Auguste de France is shown to isolate himself from the others members to practice is passion, he show little to no intress to the political stuff and is mock by several members of the Versaille court. Even Oscar criticize him for not giving enought intress to Marie Antoinette. But imo it can be understood, he was forced to marry a girl he never heard of it can be intimidating.

That's a behaviour i can relate to, but does that means he is autistic ? I don't know but watching him throught the serie he seems way less confident than his father, very shy in the rare moments with marie antoinette , allways overtaken by the events.

Hey guys! here a new post about my work of my RPG : Growing in Brambles a Realistic Medieval Narrative experience taking place in the XVIII century. Today i will present to you the combat system i created. Enjoy your reading and feel free to share opinion

If you find yourself in a combat situation, there is a completely original system aiming to be fun and strategic. Here you will face the game master (if it is an NPC) or the other person you are playing with.
Here you will face each other using a unique system inspired by trading card games such as Pokemon Magic Yugioh Vanguard etc…
Combat is based on fencing, everything is a matter of finesse, strategy and prediction. On this chapter you will learn everything you need to know to fight proprely in the world of Growing in Brambles

Weapon classes There are three types of weapons, three classes which make it possible to group together the different ways of approaching combat

Blunt weapons (Axe, club mace, flail etc…)
one-handed weapons (short sword foil dagger switchblade scimitar etc…)
two-handed weapons (greatsword halberd spear pitchfork etc….)

To put it simply, the separation of the three classes could be summed up as follows: blunt weapons offer more offensive abilities, the slightest blow will hit its mark but the style leaves little room for good defensive responses. One-handed weapons represent a good middle ground, suited to every body type, offering a deck rich in a variety of abilities, it is a style I warmly recommend to those who like to always have a backup option. And finally the two-handed style is above all a defensive choice, your strong stance and your threatening weapon serve above all as a deterrent but in the event that your opponent refuses to back down, you will have a deck of cards with enough answers to parry different threats, and your few offensive moves are simple but powerful enough to discourage your assailant but not offensive enough to kill.

What does a card look like? the list of existing cards is provided later in this document (look up at the table of contents) and we encourage you to feel free when it comes to the presentation you wish to give the cards, any material is good to use wether it's paper sheet or carbaord just make them as the back on each card is similar to avoid accidental cheating. The only requirement is that the following information must appear on the cards
The card’s type , there are 6 types of cards: Precise , Slashing , Defensive , Counter-Offensive , Special and Brutal. Precise-type cards will mostly beat Defensive-type cards and Slashing-type cards will mostly beat Counter-Offensive-type cards. And conversely Slashing-type cards will be countered by Defensive-type cards and Precise-type cards will be countered by Counter-Offensive cards. The Special Type refers to all cards that are actions other than offensive attacks. And the Brutal type provides no particular type advantage, their success conditions will be specified individually, the idea is that these are risky actions but rewarding if successful.
Position and reach: in the event that both players strike at the same time, stance and weapon reach are key elements to take into account. For example the Precise-type "Thrust" card, has a reach of +2 but in exchange the stance is considered "Exposed". There are 3 different types of stances, Exposed Neutral and Withdrawn, depending on the card and its reach, the card will specify whether it can hit a neutral or withdrawn opponent or only an exposed one. In the event of a tie For example two players both play the thrust card, the player who has the initiative is the one who hits. If neither player has the initiative (which can happen with a few rare effects ) then the player with the tallest character is the one who hits. AND in the absolutely exceptional case where neither player has the initiative both players have the same reach the same stance the same height, then both of them hit and both make an injury roll (see below)
Negative traits: no offense is perfect, no defense is perfect. every card has a negative trait, a restriction or a drawback. For example the Kick card has the following negative trait “The action can only be considered a hit against an enemy in an exposed position. Otherwise, it is automatically considered a miss.”
Descriptive text: every card has a short text describing the action its possibilities, any potential effects in the event of success , specific rules etc…Important note, if a card seems to contradict one of the previous rules it is not a mistake but an intended effect. Trust in the heart of the cards

How does combat work: each player engaged in combat is given a deck of cards based on their combat aptitude characteristic
Players receive a number of cards and draw a certain number from that deck based on their combat aptitude characteristic

Then the player with the iniative set down a card first then the one who doesn't have the initiative draw from their deck, set a card too and the GM reveal the card of the first player than the second one and comper them. if a card beat one the other one type we apply the effect of the card in question. and we continue like this until one of the vitory conditions is completed

Preparation Before combat begins check your combat aptitude statistic on your character form to determine which deck you will be given

If your statistic is 1 or 2 , you will have the Novice deck of 7 cards including 2 cards in hand and no mulligan allowed

If your statistic is 3 4 or 5, you will have the Classic deck of 12 cards including 4 cards in hand and one mulligan for the duel.

If your statistic is 6 or 7 you will have the Advanced deck of 20 cards including 7 cards in hand and one mulligan allowed for the duel

If your statistic is 8 or 9 you will have the Expert deck of 25 cards including 8 cards in hand and two mulligans per duel

If your statistic is 10 you may select as many cards as you wish with a maximum of 3 copies of any single card and you have 9 cards in hand and two mulligans per duel. In addition special rule, used cards no longer go into the discard pile but are simply placed back at the bottom of the deck

Players can build their decks however they wish while respecting the limits imposed by their combat aptitude statistic, and by only selecting cards that are at minimum equal in level to the previous statistic.

Taking Initiative the first turn the players will have to decide who wants to go first, if only one player wants to take the initiative it is to the second player’s credit that they let them have this chance….or is it a trick?
In the event that both players want to take the initiative (which is very likely to happen) in that case the players compare their respective agility and add 1D3 to it. in the event of a tie the one with the highest base agility has the initiative. if both agility scores are 100% equal the tie is settled with a coin toss. if the difference between the two players’ agility is 4 or more you can skip this step and directly give the initiative to the one with the most agility. the player with the initiative places their card first and does not draw.

Victory conditions: there are four different ways to end a confrontation
- mutual agreement. If BEFORE placing a card the player with the initiative may offer to surrender OR offer a draw, this is entirely possible with the agreement of the second player. The second player may refuse but it is up to them to decide what makes the most sense in the roleplay.
- Exhaustion: if the player who does not have the initiative has to draw but can no longer do so. They are considered exhausted. their character collapses from fatigue and their opponent as well as the game master will decide their fate together.
- First blood as part of an officiated duel: the art of duelling was extremely codified a legal expert or a trusted witness of both participants may set the rules beforehand. Fights to the death are rare ,a single hit is considered more than enough. the NPC or spectating character is responsible for separating the two opponents in rp after the winning hit
- The duel until death follows: the world is dangerous and there is no guarantee that your opponent will respect proper conduct. in that case only mercy or the death of a character will bring the confrontation to an end.

Injury Roll when a hit lands: Once the hit has been properly confirmed, a small calculation is necessary to determine the outcome of the hit. This is what is called the injury roll. it works as follows:
Constitution of the person hit - Strength of the assailant) ≤ Armour value of the body part hit + 1D6
Let us break down each element. the first two simply refer to two statistics belonging to the characters in question. The armour value can be seen on the character’s equipment for example a steel helm has an armour value of 5, but if they are hit in the arm , well we take into account the equipment associated with that body part meaning gloves sleeves or a full suit of armour and we add the result of a six-sided die roll to this armour value. if the first result is higher than the second then an injury roll is made. the GM rolls 1D100

From 1 to 20 the player suffers a superficial injury (Bruise, small cut, damaged equipment)
From 21 to 60 the player suffers a painful but not serious injury (Wound , piece of skin torn off; dislocated shoulder etc…)
From 61 to 80 The player suffers a serious but non-fatal injury (Fracture, cracked rib , external bleeding)
From 81 to 99 The player suffers a potentially fatal injury (Internal bleeding, punctured lung, amputated limb etc…)
And on a 100 involving a body part such as the abdomen the rib cage or the head, the character dies instantly. An unfortunate blow or a determined assailant; no one enters a duel without knowing that it may be their last. If a 100 is obtained on a body part such as the arm or the legs, then consider the roll as a 99

I know each version have their strength, the manga focus more on Marie Antoinette and we fully see what she endure during the french revolution. Some stuff that is tamed or shorten in the anime

But the anime dive deep in the society of the XVIII century, showing the class struggle or the non noble, and this create some intressting duality and conflict between André and Oscar.
Even if they are both friends, both lovers , the separation between Oscar François de Jarjayes daughter of a prestigious General, Oscar did get some better treatement because of her nobility. Something André Grandier could never experience, he seems even more sensible to the class struggle of the french people, the anime show him politicize himself, having argument with Oscar.

Some characters are make more relevant like the Duke of Orléans Louis Phillipe in the manga is mentionned only twice in the manga, where in the anime it become an important antagonist, maybe the biggest, and his ways to play on the ambiguous bond with revolutionnary is both historically accurate (but overexagerate for the sake of narration) and very intressting.

I would say the idea in general to change the main character from Marie Antoinette to Oscar is a GREAT idea, giving more opportunity to talk subtly of theme like questionning identity, political view class inequality feminism

The manga is a great drama of the fall of a queen, but the anime top it way better in my opinion

i am someone very fan of tabble top games
but i also realise it's very EXPENSIVE, i gotten for like 200 maybe 300euros (341 USD) in warhammer 40k and i barelly got over a thousand points of army value

so i have turn to bloodbowl because it felt cheaper only 39usd a full team

but i was thinking about maybe trying more niche wargame: friends told me about saga or bolt action
what you guys could give me as your best cheapest wargame ?

I change several times the title because i was unable to find something to describe precisely how i feel.

I would just ask you one thing is to please read the entire post to better understand.

Since like my 14 years old (i am 22 right now) i allways feels like i was too much gifted. I was very socially closed and i have been bullied but my family cared for me, i have all that i needed.

I never felt like i was "deserving" something, wenn growing up i made friends and i felt like i didn't deserve them , i had beautifull girlfriend for 6 years and i feel like i wasn't deserving her.

For a short period wenn i was teenager i was even doing several self harm. I strangle myself with a belt and scaring my arms. But i hide it to everyone.

But growing up this self hate doesn't stop, it kinda "evolved". I begin to take pleasure as being seen as a bad person

I like to "expose myself" online, i don't want to be likeable or something like that. Deep inside i want people to hate me. Because despite how much you hate me how much you think i am an horrible person. You will never hate me as much as i hate myself.

I especially am very excited wenn an older person begin to treat me like a child that they should "reeducate", i am panting up at the idea of someone told me what i think what i am or what i have done is horrible digusting.

So on several account i try to expose some of the part of my personnality, writing down what i would never dare to spoke irl. My self hattred become a humiliation kink. I don't know how to explain.

I will make the effort of not trying to write down some digusting piece, i want to keep this post SFW.

But i realise this is not normal. Something is fuck up in my brain...but it's like if i like it this way. Or am i just copping ? I don't know.

What should i do to not impose my weird behaviour to others ? And what can i do to go better ?
