Meta is suddenly flavor of the month

Muse aside, Meta is nearly everyone's favorite stock right now.

How things have changed: a month ago, nobody would touch it due to the ongoing trial.

Is it too late to get into Meta now? Has the easy money been made, or can it go much higher from here long-term?

Netflix, value or value trap

Netflix is becoming too cheap to ignore. (Its P/E for the next 12 months is 18.2)

Does it have a moat?

I couldn't live without YouTube, so is the rise of YouTube part of the problem?

Is it a great opportunity or a trap?

Google a screaming buy?

OpenAI and Anthropic are losing money hand over fist. Conversely, Alphabet has almost a quarter of a trillion in cash, plus massive distribution.

Alphabet is expert at monetising free products via ads. OpenAI had to charge $200 per month for dots, whereas if Google ever releases an agent, they can do so for free, à la Muse.

Surely this is Alphabet's game to lose.

Is Alphabet a screaming buy at $340 for a long-term hold?

Will AI decimate book sales?

Will AI decimate book sales?

If people want to learn about a new book, for example, Atomic Habits, instead of buying it, will they just get a summary from an LLM?

Would they then learn everything they need and not have to buy the book?

If authors cannot monetise their intellectual property, will they have the motive to produce new content?

Is AMZN next to pop?

We've seen Google and Microsoft get beaten down, and then, in a short time, their prices rose considerably.

I just wonder if AMZN is due for a similar rise. It hasn't moved much in years, yet it's undeniably benefiting from AI. E-commerce itself will benefit from AI, and they have a virtual monopoly in e-commerce.

Do you think AMZN could double soon in a similar fashion to Google?

Or perhaps you think Meta is next in line?

Given Nvidias market cap, QQQ has the same upside?

Individual stocks ordinarily have more upside than ETFs, but if the market cap is so large, maybe they don't.

Given Nvidia's market cap, does QQQ have the same upside over the next 10 years? And would QQQ therefore be the better choice?

Given Nvidias market cap, QQQ has the same upside?

Hypothetically speaking, Nvidia could 6x in the next 10 years. This would require a $30 trillion market cap, an extraordinary requirement.

However, if this same AI boom prevails over the next decade, QQQ could 6x quite easily, without any real risk.

Given Nvidia's market cap, does QQQ have the same upside? And would QQQ therefore be the better choice?

Is Nvidia good value right now?

Given recent earnings, the price is not far from where it was a short while ago.

Am I missing something? Why does the market not reward Nvidia?

Do people feel its current financial strength won't look the same in the future?

Is Alphabet value right now?

Alphabet has pulled back from its recent high of roughly $408. I know reported P/E is affected by investment gains, so I’m more interested in valuing the underlying operating business.

Given the growth in Cloud, YouTube, AI infrastructure/Gemini and the broader Google ecosystem, how are people here thinking about Alphabet’s intrinsic value at the current price?

What assumptions would you use for normalized earnings/FCF growth and an appropriate multiple?

*Can I just add that Warren Buffett bought at $350, so that would that indicate it's not overvalued?

Which hyperscaler will be the biggest winner

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzplj-RvvBw

Phase 1 — Scarcity

AI infrastructure demand exceeds supply, giving Nvidia, TSMC, Broadcom, ASML, Micron, etc. strong pricing power. Carlson holds ASML, but warns against overexposure to cyclical hardware.

Phase 2 — Normalization

Supply catches up. Pricing power fades and many Phase 1 winners—especially memory, data-centre builders and commodity hardware—could fall sharply.

Phase 3 — Hyperscalers Win

Long-term value shifts to companies that use and monetize AI at scale through data, distribution and customer lock-in. Carlson's long-term bets: Google, Microsoft, Amazon and Meta.

Which hyperscaler do you think will be the biggest winner?

Why are people picking GOOG above AMZN

Why is Google seen as the number one hyperscaler/stock to buy right now, given that AMZN is forecast to $500 by the end of 27, and AWS revenue could reach 1 trillion in 8 years?

Why did Warren Buffett choose Google over AMZN?
