Update: vertebrae on Lake Michigan

Went back to the beach where I found the vertebrae a couple of days ago and found another bone that is similarly weathered. Probably a deer (idk) but the makes me think it could have been buried at some point. Found in West Michigan on the shore of Lake Michigan.

I painted my room pink like I’ve always wanted to and

I can’t figure out what’s missing in my new space. Art on the walls, furniture, lighting etc ? I really don’t know

At the dentist’s office

A little girl in the waiting room announced to her mom that this aquarium was “very gross.” That is correct.

Update on big chop

I posted 47 days ago asking for help with my floppy jade. I decided to chop it and here’s how it’s looking so far. Thanks for the advice! (Blue stuff is copper spray to prevent fungal infection). Last pic is before pic.

Hello! I grew my jade from leaf propagation. It’s about 5 years old. The main trunks of my plant are not growing up but out, horizontally. It puts out tons of robust leaves and aerial roots along the stem.

-Do I stake the main stem? And prop the others up?

-Can I cut this way back to encourage upward growth? Or do I just trim back the leaves and branches?

-Is this from not having enough light? Or is it in too deep of a pot?

The blue spots are from a copper treatment I recently applied to kill mold. There was a string of turtle hanging above it that had been dripping on it and caused some of the leaves to mold.

Thanks for your help!

These trees are so tenacious! We changed the cat’s litter a few weeks ago. To show his displeasure Kitty Cayo started using pot of my fiddle and Norfolk pine instead of his box so I covered both pots with tin foil to keep him out (and switched back to the old litter). The fiddle’s pot was only covered for a week and in that time the added humidity stimulated it to send out aerials. Just thought it was amazing how quickly that happened and wanted to share!

I have a fiddle fig that is outgrowing its space. I’ve done a couple of chops before so I know I need to cut above the node. I have a few other questions though.

-Will the cut be where the tree branches?

-Do I need to add cloning paste to the cut?

-I’ll prop the cuttings but could I graft it lower on the branch?

(Please excuse the messy office)
