Not sure if this means eating disorder or not, idk not really educated on this, but gender dysphoria been real bad lately, i feel like the less I eat the less body fat I’ll have (im already pretty underweight for my age and being biologically male) and no fat means thinner waist and more hips, this is kinda fuckin me up rn and idk what to do cuz im in the middle of my night shift so I just thought I’d leave this here and see if anyone has any input

He’s known for about 2 years now that I’ve questioned my gender (we had a meeting with the councillor about it in high school) and last night during my night shift I texted him saying I’ve been thinking of that again and I was wondering if he could make me an appointment with our family doctor.
(I’m 20 years old but still living at home because of university and I’d rather involve him because it feels healthier yk)

He took it very badly, guilt tripped me saying my mother who he watched die and my brother who he watched die he’s lost them and now he’s losing me too, and that my mom gave birth to a son and raised a son and basically said it as if me wanting to be a girl is a disrespect to my mother who has unfortunately passed away. Told me he absolutely does not support me and said that why should he accept me if I can’t even accept who I am as a man.

It really really fucking hurt because during that meeting 2 years ago he said he’d support me and be there for me and help me figure this out, which I can confidently say now he was only saying because the councillor was there because his reaction last night was a total 180° flip.

He did however agree to make the appointment for me, not because he supports me or likes what I’m doing or agrees with it, but just because he’s my parent and he feels that as a parent it’s his job to help me, which to me makes zero sense.
Your gonna do your job by helping but absolutely hate the thing your helping with? He even said “you want my help to turn my only son into something else?”

So yeah idk, feel really shitty right now, gonna accept his help because I wanna figure this shit out but it really hurt to hear what he had to say
