hello so I've tested a game to see any issues regarding syncing it and it seems to work fine but I still have a few issues I haven't been able to test yet

1. how does going online with hen work? I tried a match of Minecraft and it seemed good but I'm unsure of other things such testing other online games and even inviting/getting invites from others

2. how nopaystation works especially in regards to dlc, I've attempted to look online for guides but they were either outdated or weren't clear on dlc/how to install pkg files bigger then 4gb

is there something I'm doing wrong in regards to downloading stuff from the site? I managed to get the hang of iso files but pkg files and how to move the bigger ones is something I'm still in the dark about

only asking as I followed a mrmario guide but I get an "no applicable update data found" error, the guide didn't mention a specific usb but I'm wondering if there's a specific size limit for the usb's that you need?

I know that he has the ability to stretch his body in anyway he can but how does this work? what happens if he is cut in half? does he regenerate his lost half? if everything except a piece of him is still around can he regenerate from that?

been reading other posts regarding the trinity but how are we certain the trinity was a later development and not what earlier writers like Paul believed in regarding logos? did early Christians not believe in trinity or were there other explanations to it?

by that I mean how do I make a religion that's theologically strong and can answer questions like the problem of evil and the religious explanation for the other religions? is there some steps I must take to do that? how do I achieve this?

hello I come here from the other academic subs and I wanted to ask because truth be told I don't know much about Buddhism unlike the other 2 religions

what exactly does one have to know regarding both Buddhism itself in an academic sense and the misconceptions regarding it?

so I watched brand new day yesterday and suffice to say I thought it was neat, but one of my favourite parts of the movie was the dynamic between peter and the punisher, frank's actor absolutely nailed his job and the quips between them made this movie enjoyable every time they were on screen together. the scene near the end where frank brings peter to the hospital and pretends to be spider-man for him was cute and got a laugh out of me.

but actually thinking about it for a moment this doesn't make sense for spider-man especially in this movie.

now the movie implies pretty heavily that peter knows frank before the film as seen with him knowing his hideout and having banter with him in tank chase scene. now the question that should have been on my mind is why peter is letting him roam free in the city instead of bringing him to prison for professional help something that was the main plot from the last movie with him even standing up to strange.

this feels somewhat ooc for him considering every person frank kills rests entirely on peter's shoulders, if anything peter SHOULD BE disgusted at frank's obsession with murder, this is the same peter who begged strange strange to have a heart in no way home for not wanting to save the villains.

now tbf one might point out peter's relationship with iron man or captain America but the difference is that both kill in self defence and are willing to spare lives, frank not only doesn't do that but takes active sadism/pleasure in killing people as seen in the Netflix show.

now this wouldn't be an issue on it's own but the movie treats peter's dynamic with frank as though he's black cat or venom and not the same punisher from the Netflix show who talked about how much he enjoyed killing people.

again I should reiterate that I did enjoy the dynamic between the 2 of them and both actors did a stellar job, I just don't think the in universe relationship makes sense/feels ooc for peter and a regression of his character in the last film.

edit: ok on second thought maybe sending him to prison isn't the best/ideal plan

So I recently got a USB and decided to test it out, while I did, I noticed that there appeared to be 2 separate USB drives one called "USB drive (e:)" and the othert "USB drive (d:)" the former works while the latter gets an error message saying "couldn't reach your device" my question is what's the main difference between the 2 and why does only one work? Apologies for the silly question but I have basically no idea how it works regarding USBs

Doing some research online, and I've stumbled across specific ideas that refer to deception and tricky in Islamic history, these refer to concepts such as

Taqiyya - Saying something that isn't true as it relates to Muslim identity (i.e., whether one is a Muslim or what that means). This is a Shiite term: the Sunni counterpart is Muda'rat.

Kitman - Lying by omission. An example would be when Muslim apologists quote only a fragment of verse 5:32 (that if anyone kills "it shall be as if he had killed all mankind") while neglecting to mention that the rest of the verse (and the next) mandate murder in undefined cases of "corruption" and "mischief."

Tawriya - Intentionally creating a false impression by saying something that is technically true when knowing that the listener will interpret it in a different way. This practice has a broader application than taqiyya.

Muruna - 'Blending in' by setting aside some practices of Islam or Sharia in order to advance others.

My question is, how do these concepts relate regarding how Islam views deception in both as a concept and as a tactic to use for one's own benefit? Did these ideas differ between how different sects interpreted/used them?

How did people at the time view the exodus? Was it meant to be viewed as the history of the isralites and the establishing of isreal? or something akin to historical fiction like that of the Odyssey?

So recently, when discovering how jailbreaking ps3 works, I stumbled across hen, and I have a few questions for anyone who uses it

1. How does hen installation work? If I install it on account 1 on my main console, will I be able to enable it when I switch accounts on that console, or will it only be available on that one account

2. When installing hen, does the region the account is set to matter? Specifically for any other installations such as pkgi

3. Is there anything one should know before installing hen? Is there anything after that I must do to not risk anything such as catching a ban when doing something like synching trophies or gamesharing?

We know that some of the views the quran has on Jesus are explained by other sources such as the gospel of Thomas. However, other parts aren't really as well explained (at least to my knowledge)

But considering the environment Muhammad was in, is it possible to assume the quranic view of the Messiah arose as an attempt by Muhammad to reconcile Jesus being the Messiah without contradicting oneness?

The main evidence is the quran's insistence on stressing out the importance of Jesus, not being the son of God but a prophet sent by God, at the same time, Jews had been practicing oneness for centuries before Muhammad and would have surely had some influence as seen with the quran's insistence on returning to a pure form of monotheism as seen with the Islamic concept of tawhid

Is there any evidence supporting such a connection, or is this confirmation bias on my part? What's the general consensus by academics?

Hello! You've probably seen me post here before by asking albeit silly questions, but I finally wanted to dip my toes into jailbreaking a console proper, but I have a few questions that I wanted to ask people here before starting it

1. What's the best console type to jailbreak? I don't mean just phat or slim, but the variations between them

2. Are there any guides, both text/video for both jailbreaking the console/installing any services like pkgi that aren't out of date?

3. Are there any tips/advice that I MUST/SHOULD know both before jailbreaking the console and also after jailbreaking it, such as if selecting a specific region for the account effects anything and to not risk anything such as to to lessen the chances of catching a ban?
