Crazy to see how far Sony has fallen off, from this level of respecting players to whatever they are now.

Kaz Hirai, then president of PlayStation, bowed down to apologize for the 24-day PlayStation blackout in 2011, which was a cyberattack, not even their own fault.

And now, it took them 30 days to issue a vague statement that boils down to “we have carefully considered ‘strong reactions' but screw you anyway”

The best way to gatekeep tourists is to support master love content, official or fanon within the fandoms of the games you play. It is the best form of gatekeeping.

I’m sick and tired of all this, so sick and tired. Every single gacha that releases, this same dance of idiocy happens over and over. I’ve had enough, and since this is the content that keeps them away. We should act as such.

I am so tired of all this bullcrap that I frankly don’t care anymore. These people have ruined the gacha fandom space. The damage is irreparable and it really does disappoint me.

If it’s going to be constant agenda wars from now till the end of time in this space. So be it.

Yes. We like harem.

Yes. We are the target audience.

And yes. We support ML content.

This attitude seems to shoo off tourists so it is the attitude we should have. That’s my opinion anyway.

Stop trying to reason with them. I’m done. And I think quite a lot of others are done too.

The Horrors of an All Ditgital Futrure!

Has anyone been feeling like there's a strange pattern of your favorite online only games being shut down this year (in 2026) all happening at once?

  1. Rick and Morty: Pocket Morty's

  2. Mario Kart Tour

  3. Poppy Playtime Multi-player game: Project Playtime

  4. Looney Tunes: World of Mayhem

And the shutdown of the Playstation 3 Store!

It's so convenient that this is happening at the same time that Playstation announcing that they are DONE with physical media!

This is what happens when we enter all digital games only in the future!

The fact that every one of you favorite online only games that are practical live services are ALWAYS going to shut down at some point in life!

This is how a lot of people are losing their jobs!

And let's not forget the other games that have been shut down over the years:

Club Penguin, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, Looney Tunes Dash, Palace Pets app, Traffic Panic BoomTown, Disney Mirrorverse, The Simpsons: Tapped Out, The Crew, WB Multiverses, Disney Infinity, Lego Dimensions, and many more!

Thanks to Disney, EA, Microsoft, Nintendo, and even Sony!

IT'S LIKE YOU DONT EVEN OWN YOUR OWN CHILDHOOD!

WHERE WAS THE #STOPKILLINGGAMES PETITION BACK AT 2017 WHEN DISNEY TREATHENS TO SHUTDOWN CLUB PENGUIN?!?

Even the gaming companies can shut down their own ditigal media storefronts:

The Nintendo eShop for our Wiis, DS, Wii U, and Xbox shutting down the Xbox Arcade and Marketplace for the Xbox 360!

Sometimes, it feels like everything is getting the Concord treatment, where it won't last long with the lack of player interest, server maintenance, and heavy monetization before it's dead afterward!

Even mobile games can get get worse with their dirty, greedy ways that will eventually lead to another app game shutting down forever! (LOST MEDIA!)

This is the real horror of an all digital only future, where you literally OWN NOTHING!!!

And worst of all, you won't be able to let your grandchildren be able to play these overly expensive games that are practically digital only! And these Gen alpha kids won't be able to experience the same feeling of ownership of a physical game, IF THERE ARE NO MORE PHYSICAL GAMES TO PLAY!

I also hate it when lawsuits and copyright infringements are also a threat towards gameing! Like Nintendo's Pokémon sueing PokcetPair's Palworld! And Hasbro shutting down a fan made My Little Pony games like Fighting is Magic!

And how burnouts and controversy can also kill of fan projects like the Five Nights at Freddy's Plus game!

GBAMFS Shares Intellectual Property Feedback and Guidance to US Congress

PRESS RELEASE ANNOUNCEMENT - GBAMFS Shares Intellectual Property Feedback and Guidance to US Congress

Preface: Let it not be said the Gamers never gave back, or were uncreative. Au contraire. (Also, we know fancy French and Latin phrases- some of us, anyway. And what they mean, too!) ... When conventional channels of feedback and creative expression (Complaint sections, Review channels, Forums, Modding platforms) are foreclosed upon or closed to us - quoth Mrs.Obama "When they go low, we go high" - we will reach who, when, and where, as may be needed to make our voices heard. Today, not for the first time, but for the first time formally to the US Congress, we have done so.

(We'd prefer to be gaming, bantering among ourselves, giving colloquial feedback, and modding [improvising] on the principal content- but we find ourselves here. So be it! Gamers' voices will be heard!)

We outline that modern major IP stewardship just isn't handling the demand- indeed, mishandling the demand- and neglecting deeply loved, widely-acclaimed cultural tuoche

ORG UPDATE: We've revised our terms.

ORG UPDATE: We've revised our terms. They now better reflect conditions of operating in the modern gaming culture environment.

  1. Our stance on AI and Crypto is now clarified. Can't humbug progress, and both of these technologies unavoidably show both merit and promise. Their implications and the implementations of them around gaming have yet to be established, but we're cautiously optimistic that some good will come of their use in and around the gaming space!

  2. We stake out the fact the Physical Media matters to us. It's part of our cultural heritage. Physical artifacts are indeed the traditional markers by which cultures are distinguished *especially in retrospect.* Where will our discs, trophies, tokens, and toys and sealed (papyrus-scroll-like posters and stuff) take themselves into the future? Who knows?! But we know digital may not make the trip just yet (?!) - We support Physical and IP Reform. This is now made clear in our FAQ.

  3. Although the door was technically always open to affiliates, we're opening it wide for others to join! We have further news on this coming up

-> Apply on our site!

US 250th post - US-Polish History [3/3] <3 GOG

Polish and American culture are siblings. In history, in character. Agrarian, popular (if imperfect) government, equestrian. Careful to guard their flanks, as history has shown prudent. And both love EDM, as civilized nations are wont to.

(We're not so sure about Disco)

Most important of all, to Gamers, in the US, and worldwide, is that Poland is the homeland and birthplace of Good Old Games – GOG – a name every real Gamer knows, and many truly love!

GOG's efforts have done more to advance meaningful digital ownership, ready-start gameplay, and Games Preservation than possibly any other company, or even museum or collectors have, worldwide!

Because of GOG, many games that might have been lost to history are most certainly saved, and enjoyable for generations to come!

Thank you so much Poland, and your greatest gift to the Digital Age, for which many, many American Gamers are grateful! Thanks to everyone @ GOG – Rock and Game on!! #VivaGOG - Niech żyje Polska!

US 250th post - US-Polish History [2/3]

The next in our series on Polish-US history in the course of our fabulous and extremely hard-fought Revolutionary War against the cruel empire (Prison Ships, Impressment, autocratic foreign rule) – Britain, of the time – we present the Father of American Cavalry - Casimir Pulaski

For a country whose legacy is inextricably intertwined with organized horsemanship, his contributions were substantial.

A great hero, and one of Poland's most significant contributors to American culture.

US 250th post - US-Polish History

Poland and the US go way back. In fact, part of our founding ideals took leafs from the concept of a 'commonwealth,' something Poland, Lithuania, and modern Ukraine once shared. On the eve of the celebration of our great Revolutionary War, we're highlight heroes who deserve to be recognized in US-Polish history, the first is Thaddeus Kosciuszko, martial engineer and hero of the American Revolution. Also hero in Polish war history! 1/3

#StopPayingGames

This is self explanatory; to all who do not support the idea of player ownership, there shall be no further funding, regardless of their game's quality. #StopPayingGames until they #StopKillingGames by not buying any new or existing products that you do not already own. You can do this regardless of your country; play what you already have access to, and buy nothing else until there are proper legislations against this malpractice - and that also includes applying them to stores like Steam.

Disclaimer: Nintendo and Epic Games have not exactly voiced an opposition, and hold positive values from what conversations have pointed in the comments, so take their placement on this list with a grain of salt.

To answer everyone's constant question of 'Why is XYZ on this list' it's because these companies are implicated as opposition to SKG's proposals (VGE or ESA lobbying).

Update on Linktree, and X platform

We're pleased to announce the update and completion of our Linktree page. Although there is not much content on many of these other platforms yet, more will be coming soon

We'd like to thank the exceptionally talented and hard-working engineers who pulled off the miraculous feat of streamlining and refreshing the X site post-Musk acquisition. It's a big heap to sift through. It's pretty amazing, honestly, that it works as well as it does. We cannot too highly compliment the management and administrative approach of the site, however. It's been a sore spot for a Customer Service-oriented and Gamer Advocacy-focused group like ours. X is good for two things principally: News/politics and some say porn/sports (or drama.)

Not so good for consumer outreach, advocacy, and so-so for cultural preservation, promotion, efforts. Maybe our posts on X have just not hit enough of the right notes to make a bigger impact. Who knows? If you think you do, post in the comments below! Meantime, please see our Linktree, favorite it, and keep in touch with us on one of any of the many social options we present there. Although our checkmark may soon drop on X, our star will rise greater than ever everywhere else! One thing Gamers know very well about is not quitting. Non-Gamers would do well to understand this about Gamers and gamer culture!

We're do-ers by nature. Gamers may have invented sticktoitiveness. We don't buy our cred. We earn it. Wring it from rubber, plastic, steel, and other things if necessary. Crucially, Gamers know how to team-play. (We see devs most of who come from our starting-point. How else do they make such amazing games for us?!) We're a lot more alike than discourse there suggests!!

We're humbled and grateful for very significant interest our work has generated from highly respected, high-quality people in and outside of the gaming scene! While our focus has been divided over the course of the last year-to-year and a half, our outreach and activity has not been in vain. It is too much work for any one person or even handful of people to do to address some of the things we have to to realistically serve the gamer community's interests. Yes, some of it looks boring. Some of it is (it really is!) But it's worth it, though.

If companies responded to simple negative feedback chains like they get every day online, we would have not started this. We're not in it to vent. We're in it to WIN!!! That means we help each other. That means hard work. The means we firmly but civilly insist upon needed changes happening. Collectively. And don't stop until they occur! -- It isn't a mission that gives clout. It's a mission that gives glory, because it's shared success! There is much success to be had yet-and we've not yet begun to write, so to speak! WE'D PREFER to be gaming! So let us help each other, and us all, to help ourselves find our way back to it!

First direct cash donation accepted, thank you for your support!

With heartfelt thanks we'd like to recognize our first direct cash donation, and donor (you know who you are!) who is helping to build a better future for gaming, and Gamers everywhere by supporting our org and efforts!

Doing ethics, looking at legislation, working with and addressing companies in gaming who do good, and some which aren't doing right by Gamers, it's not easy!

It may not be exciting, and it doesn't reward you like gameplay does. It's worth it though because it's about making a better, more satisfactory experience for us all over the long-run. And encouraging the improvement, maintenance, and even creation of breakout art that we all come to gaming for!

If we all take just moments a day, and a little bit of cash here and there (less than a Gamepass subscription!,) to support our own community, and artists who need the thoughts and basic help to bring us the best stuff, we'd do a tremendous amount to move the industry, and conversations in the right direction (and away from useless, wealth and attention-diverting drama which just bleed gaming, and Gamers in the end!)

So if you support that vision and want to see more from us, start with a donation today:

https://cash.app/$JJ877cn

Personal donation for now, incorporation pending (501c3/other being worked on.) Thank you!

Other options to support us are on our Linktree:
