I live in northern ohio, and the last time I saw something in 70mm IMAX was interstellar when I was a teenager back in 2014. A group of my friends (3 of us) are trying to get to see dune 3, but I'm worried about availability.

I'm debating taking tomorrow off of work in order to be home with the websites open and ready on my Internet rather than works. I'm looking at Grand rapids, Indianapolis, and Toronto.

Do you guys have any advice to try and beat these scalpers to it, or am I fighting a losing battle?

My Kraken X53's LED died, so I filed an RMA. NZXT support confirmed in writing that since the X53 is discontinued, I'd be getting a Kraken Elite as the replacement, an upgrade at no cost. They even listed the specs (2.72" IPS LCD, RGB ring, Turbine pump) in the email.

I run Linux, so naturally, before I make any decisions, I make sure stuff will work with my setup. I use LiquidCTL to control my fan curves and whatnot, and OpenRGB for all of my lighting. Thankfully, the Kraken Elite is supported, so I go ahead with the Destruction of my x53 and submit my RMA.

Now it took about a week for the unit to get here, which is hard for me since I am a dev and do most of my work through a VDI, just because im comfortable at my own setup, so I suffered through and used a work-provided laptop for the week. I took Monday off this week in order to receive the unit and get my PC set up. It arrived, and it is a Kraken Plus, not an Elite. I really didn't think anything of it; I needed to get my PC back up and running so I threw it in and called it a day.

The issue started when I went to set it all up, and after some research, I found out that the Kraken Plus is not supported since it is a far less popular model. So now I am stuck with this Useless liquid temp that I can't even turn off.

I am thinking I would have been better off with my Kraken X53 with a burnt-out LED since I could atleast just turn the lighting off, but now that option is off the table since it is at the dump.

I emailed support and was told it was a direct replacement to my model since the X53 isn't made anymore, so that is what I was supposed to get.

Do you think I have a case here, or am I SOL?

I came across this video today, watched a few seconds of it and when it cuts to the clip of her walking I just said "that's obviously ai", so I clicked on the page to see if it was an ai clip farm page

Low and behold, 117k followers, supposedly "no ai" and has been on various news outlets.

Am I crazy, or is there actually ai used here? The walking appears to have weird artifacting, as well as her face when it's showing her phone from the back.

Hello everyone!

I've been trying to find button-up shirts with subtle anime-inspired patterns, but I'm not having much luck.

I already own a bunch of patterned button-ups with things like pineapples, dinosaurs, and even tiny F/A-18s all over them. They're the kind of shirts where the pattern just looks like a design from a distance, but when you get closer you realize what it actually is. That's exactly the style I'm looking for something understated rather than a big graphic tee.

Some ideas I had were:

A black or white shirt covered in tiny Spears of Longinus from Neon Genesis Evangelion.

A shirt with a repeating Uzumaki clan symbol from Naruto.

Really any small, tasteful anime reference that only fans would recognize.

Does anyone know of brands or shops that make shirts like this, or have any other design ideas that would fit this style?

Hello all!

I’m getting ready to try my first rifle handloads and I’m definitely a little nervous about it. The only thing I’ve loaded before is .45 ACP, so this feels like a pretty big step up.

The load data is identical to a close friend’s setup that he runs safely through his Browning X-Bolt:

- 225gr ELD

- 78gr H1000

- 3.590” OAL

He looked over my loads and says everything appears fine. My only concern is the overall length, they’re just barely too long to fit in the magazine by maybe a fraction of a millimeter.

Are these kinds of nerves pretty normal for a first-time rifle loader? Is there anything else I should double-check before sending them, or am I overthinking it?

About 2 weeks ago I bought a 2020 Prius limited with 66k on the odo. Late last week I started it up, and was surprised with a 2-3 second ear piercing screeching noise. Needless to say this was super annoying, but it didn't come back up until this morning when I went to leave for work. I'm assuming this is going to be a chronic issue, so I need help.

This car is perfect, it's like brand new, and I got it because I need to save money on my 100mi commute, I can't really afford to dump thousands into electrical repairs after I just bought the car.
