Last night, my stitching group got together and three of us are on GLPs. It was nice to just be able to talk to them about it and not have to feel like it was an issue. Bonus: I told them about online providers so they can continue to afford it!
Just got an email from them saying to expect it to take 2-3 weeks for them to fulfill your order, so plan ahead.
Not sure if this is snark or not, but just looked at one of my go-to NP sites and their new from market stuff. Some of the markup is INSANE. Pieces I know a year or two ago would have been in the $50-$60 range are now $75+.
I get that they need to make money, etc., etc., but even with the canvas shortages and delayed times, there are so many new designers out there that probably would be priced a bit lower to get the exposure, seeing these prices made me honestly gasp!
We're coming up on vacation season, and more of us will be wanting advice on travelling with tirz - flying, driving, going on a cruise, etc. I know there are several posts about travelling with tirz, but if someone could compile some of the advice into a pinned post it would be awesome! [I'm going on a 12 day trip soon, driving, that will involve two shot days, so have a vested interest :)]
I've googled and it doesn't appear that there is anything in the area (within an hour), but with new shops popping up all the time these days, I thought it couldn't hurt to ask.
