Gonna take an edible after this (I hate how hungry they make me so if I eat first it helps so I can just enjoy being high) & play the fuck out of Control Resonant the rest of today

It’s only gonna be a minor flood this time according to the river level app prediction

I made a post or two after I had this exchange & that’s when I noticed nobody else has been posting/able to post. Just got another comment on my last post here about someone else not being able to post in this sub so I’m posting this for visibility. I don’t know the mods or what is going on, this is all I know. Hopefully this sub isn’t dead for good. I thought by now other people would be approved to post/the sub posting abilities for all would have been turned back on by now but I guess not. Message the mods, idk other than what is in the pic.

Made grilled ham & cheese sandwiches with the rest of some homemade cheese bread made by my mom’s friend yesterday. They are amazing :)

I’ve seen 3 shooting stars while watching this & keep hearing the owls in the trees across the water from me :)

Plus some buttery garlic pepper green beans on the side

I use sharp cheddar spread, garlic/onion/chicken seasoning powder, a sprinkle of MSG, a slice of regular cheddar, then half a ripped up tortilla for more filling, & then a mix of shredded vintage white cheddar & smoked Gouda on top before microwaving.

Used up some crescent roll dough, a bunch of eggs with a bunch of spices that I don’t remember (cuz super drunk lol), a random can of spinach & about half a block of velveeta. I may have inhaled a couple before double bagging & freezing the rest & then doing the dishes before passing out in my bed lol

He lives across the the river slough from my front door. I’ve loved it since day one when I moved here new years of last year. Even in winter he’s just so strong & cool looking, towering over the rest of the forest on his island & the river. Also, idk why I’m referring to it as a he, but it just feels right. He looks like he’s trying to touch the clouds. He’s survived countless severe storms & lightning & even a fire on the island he’s on (a controlled brushfire burn on the levee we are next to jumped to his island from the levee cuz of wind) & somehow has come out unscathed every time.

He gives me hope that I can make it through shit that I feel like will destroy me & I look to him during bad thunderstorms because if he can survive through it, then so can I (even if it feels like my house is about to fly away during heavy winds moving it around- gotta love living on 25 ft tall concrete stilts). I’ve decided he needs a good name but I just can’t think of one.

Used some old plastic placemats & a random dollar store rug. It’s been working great for over a year now :)
