Best simple idea for remake: Vinyl Records items for bigger radio catalog + Three Dog ‘owwwwww bow wow wow’ vibes

Whenever I played FO3 I always wished they had made special items that were vinyl records and then you could give them to Three Dog or various people / places, and that this would be a relevant way to also increase the songs playing on the radio.

Totally makes sense this tech could survive as it is not digital and was generally most peoples trash or collectables.

Surely it would be quite simple to do and could even create a few quests from it as 3 dog is relatively written out after his part.

Would be such a cool way to bring more songs in and would be a highly desirable item(s) to seek out due to the playlist increase relevance!

Thanks for listening’ children…. This is three dog saying bring me that wax and non irradiated snacks!

Difference between flare up and general pain (besides obvious agony and medical assistance being needed)

This time last year I was in the hospital with what I believe to be my first flare up. I was perforated.

Post my 5 day stint in the hospital I avoided being operated on, but experienced residual pain and aches for a few months after, which then became somewhat frequent but less consistent.

I’ve been trying to figure my diet out and also struggling but I have been somewhat experiencing ache and pain continually and even noting that fibre often hurts or I can feel fibrous foods go through m e- maybe more like discomfort?

My questions are:

  1. How normal is this? If it’s just pain then I keep eating fibre, but what if it’s a flare up? Just milder? Do is too eating fibre? Feels like an unbalanced scale that’s impossible to balance.

Also I have been getting the kind of ache on both left and right that I had in the months leading up to my initial flare up (thinking it was maybe a hernia or lack of exercise).

I seem to be fine health wise but at the moment every day has ache and twinges of pain.

Help, I’d like to keep my stomach intestines ideally!

Thank you and grace to all suffering :)

CDBaby Vs DistroKid / alternatives?

I am launching a label this year and it will primarily be an imprint label. Meaning it will represent my own work. My goal is legacy here - I want longevity in the publishing beyond my own life.

I see that it is possible to migrate songs in long run from CDBaby if the revenue was extremely high (good problem to have) while also appreciate the legacy aspect of CDBaby and no subscriptions / hidden costs. 9% in the world of labels that probably take what 40-80%? For the peace of mind it’s fair to bank against our own success as passion producers.

I have been doing this a long time and I have stuff on YouTube that is not my channel and decades old. I just want peeps to be able to look me up and vibe. Untimely not in it for money but not here to throw away money either. As an artist the idea of continual costs and tiers of subscription limitations etc, I truly cba with it!

If I want to have other artists on my label I am happy to pay them out in the contract which most artists would take and or see it as a way to support me on my own Artist my (note don’t get hung up on this without knowing everything about my circumstances etc) [not an immediate plan either]. This would clean up pay outs which would become my responsibility otherwise (one benefit of distrokid it seem they split the payments for you if you colab or have remixers or features).

Seems like a good place to ask! Any other platforms do better than cd baby and why?

Anything I’m missing that makes distrokid better than cdbaby?

Thank you

Need help with back up. 1.5T of data

I have to wipe my pc for windows 11 to be able to install. I have approximately 1.5tb and need some general advice on how to back this data up.

In the past I’ve had copy and paste data fail due to a wide range of error codes that I don’t remember etc (on other machines) and even had tech friends tell me I am copying data wrong (when it takes a long time).

I am a music producer and I am really not technical with PCs at all. I wanted to buy a Mac and my friend said they knew what they were doing and built me this pc which is great but we didn’t change this setting that is required now for windows 11 and why I have to flip the pc. They also poorly partitioned the drives so my operating drive is rammed full, while my other was relatively free space.

Now as a total I have 1.5tb of files.

Is there a simple or secure way to copy these files? Should I go folder for folder? Is there some sort of mode I can put the pc in that makes the process more streamlined or focused on data transfers.

Between my hard drives I should have enough to back it all up twice, which is my goal. Working on a deadline as I use slack for work and slack from may 18th saying I have to be windows 11

Thanks
