I liked the 2003 anime series better than Brotherhood.

Unpopular opinion. I liked Lust as a love interest for Scar. I thought Ed and Al's mom being a homunculus was top notch. Liked that more attention (from what I recall) was given to Ed, Al and other characters due to the people from Xing not existing. I enjoyed wrath(2003) as a character greatly. Didn't enjoy Buccaneer (But i did enjoy Olivier) and felt Brotherhood focused on intense stylish action sequences over emotion (i.e. Bradley, Ling Yao) BUT I did enjoy the way they used Bradley as almost being the Homonculus's trump card instead of just some political figurehead. He was basically captain america, but evil. I will say the Brotherhood OST slapped and the OP's were fire-- But no track in there was better than the piece 'Bratja'. Share thoughts.

I've been thinking about it ... FF7R/RE spoilers

I know at the end of Remake, Sephiroth was asking Cloud to lend him his strength. I no longer think of this as him screwing with Cloud. I am legitimately wondering if there is a big bad so powerful at the end of this that it supplants Sephiroth. The Ancients are said by Gi Nittak to be pretty bad (other than Aerith). .. Heck tbh, Gi Nittak is PRETTY freaking reasonable. He actually pays homage to Seto, despite the fact that the Gi arrows turned him to stone.

I am wondering if there is a more powerful entity than Sephiroth here that we'll fight. Either related to the Cetra or planet in some way as we've already fought what is basically Bizzaro. There's only one Sephiroth form left right? The one in the MGT artwork, Safer Sephiroth. It makes almost no sense to just fight that form and it also makes almost no sense to fight the human version of Sephiroth for the 4th time either. On the other hand, If the Cetra are super vengeful, if the planets so powerful it can rewind time, it itself should probably be more powerful than Jenova. Heck, the planet Subsumed the star of the GI, which is the reason they're trapped on Gaia. What if there's a force controlling it like Minerva that we have to fight?
