Better remote for QN55S90FAFXZA?
Just got a Samsung model QN55S90FAFXZA and I hate the remote.
Is there a compatible Samsung remote that has a number pad and other buttons?

It's been discovered that during pregnancy, some cells from the baby cross the placental barrier and move throughout the mother's body, even crossing the blood-brain barrier. These cells never go away, they've been found in women in their 80's. So women who have been pregnant, even if they had a miscarriage, can have male and female cells with partially different DNA hidden away.
Write a story involving identification and extraction of children's cells / DNA from their mothers.
The GPX MW3836 MP3 player has 1 gig internal memory and supports SD cards in standard and High Capacity up to 8 gigabytes.
But it also works with SDXC up to at least 32 gigabytes, most likely by using the SD Card format's 1 bit serial protocol.
Today I located the firmware update and other files on one of my hard drives and uploaded it here https://limewire.com/d/jB4nB#QSScDRYW0r
Please enjoy and share so this resource does not become lost forever! The Web Archive does not have this because it didn't save most of GPX's download files from the 2010's.
I'm looking at a Samsung 55s90f and want to know if I just sign into my Samsung account and Google for YouTube and I'm done?
I was given a fairly recent 65" LG and to be able to use all of its features I had to check boxes on all kinds of agreements to have my viewing habits spied on, get sent emails and tons of other invasive BS. I quickly traded it for an X-Box One-X and a PS4 Slim.
PS. Does this Samsung model do TV to Phone mirroring? My current Samsung TV does so I don't have to miss any of an F1 or NASCAR race when I need to take a bathroom break. 😄
I have WSL on windows 11 with Ubuntu 24.04. I only have GIMP, VLC, Synaptic Package Manager, and Zutty installed.
GIMP and VLC launch as they should from the Start menu. The other two *did* when I first installed them but after some updating of Ubuntu with sudo apt update and sudo apt upgrade, they don't.
sudo xauth merge ~/.Xauthority && sudo synaptic
That launches the package manager, with an error
xauth: file /root/.Xauthority does not exist
xauth: (argv):1: merge: unable to open file /home/gregg/.Xauthority
Ho do I fix things so that the shortcuts in the Start menu work and stay working for Linux apps?
I have a LaserJet 4100 DTN that I've upgraded with 256 meg RAM and a 100 megabit JetDirect 620n EIO card. HP says it's compatible with PCL5 and PCL6 and PostScript, but whenever I try printing with the latest PCL6 universal print driver it kicks out a page that says unsupported protocol.
It works with the last release of the PCL5 UPD upd-pcl5-x64-6.1.0.20062 (which was a real PITA to find to download) and it works with the current PostScript UPD.
Second question, automatic configuration gets everything correct, except for the existence of Tray 3. I have to manually enable Tray 3 and set it to Letter and Tray 2 to Legal.
It's a very nice printer, been running non stop for years. I just recently replaced all the paper handling rollers and the control panel because the - value button quit working, Tray 2 wouldn't feed lighter Legal size paper, and Tray 3 was beginning to slip with normal weight Letter. I expect this printer to outlive me! It replaced a LaserJet 4 with MIO JetDirect, which replaced a LaserJet III.
I picked up the 4100 DTN cheaper than an addon 500 sheet tray would've cost for the 4.
For an HP laptop 17t-by400 the support downloads show two BIOS updates.
F.25 Rev.A 10.2 MB Apr 28, 2025
F.64 Rev.A 43.3 MB Sep 24, 2021
Why is F.64 older than F.25? Why the much larger file size?
The laptop had never been updated from the BIOS it shipped with in 2020 so I updated it to the F.25 version.
I installed sticker hub and uninstalled it after a couple of minutes. Is there an app for Monopoly Go like SpinLink is for Coinmaster?
On an Asrock B450 Pro4 I had to reset the BIOS to defaults to get Instant Flash to work so it would update from 10.43 Beta to 10.60
I also installed a LPC TPM 2.0 module.
I got everything configured how I wanted, but upon booting to Windows, my PS/2 keyboard doesn't work.
I went back to BIOS and switched the PS/2 Y cable setting from Auto to Enabled. Still no keyboard in Windows.
But hitting F2 or Delete on the PS/2 keyboard during POST works to get into BIOS.
The Start DWORD is set to 1, Hexadecimal, in Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\i8042prt
I also uninstalled the Standard PS/2 keyboard driver and restarted. When Windows starts *it turns the numlock light off* on the PS/2 keyboard.
The Registry settings shown in this video are as they should be
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gRDLP0F0pwQ
This command to launch troubleshooting has been deprecated msdt.exe -id DeviceDiagnostic
Fast Startup is already off.
"To access the Windows Keyboard Troubleshooter, right-click the Start button and select Settings. Go to System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters, locate Keyboard, and click Run." Microsoft has removed the keyboard troubleshooter!
If you have something to try NOT already listed above to try, I'd love to know it.
So I'm having to use a cheap USB keyboard with Windows. Why can't someone write a small program to forcibly fix this? Call it MakeTheDamnPS2KeyboardWork.exe

I opened up Dungeon issue 93 because the file name also has Polyhedron 152 in it.
Behold! There's a lot of missing pages.
The inside cover, whatever is between the table of contents through page 5, 7, 9-13, 25-27, 33-37, 65, 99, Polyhedron section is missing 27, 29, 33, 37, 39.
Makes me wonder if PDFs of other issues of Dragon, Dungeon, and Polyhedron have missing pages? (Other than Polyhedron 92 which I found complete on Scribd and 95 which a couple of folks here sent me.)
I'll just look at the separate file for Polyhedron 152... it's missing the same pages, and it's a different (and worse quality, lower res, crooked pages) scan from what's in the Dungeon 93 issue. What gives? It was obviously scanned directly from an actual magazine.
That's a lot of files to look through. Group project to scan through every issue to find out what all is missing, and find *complete* scans?
The first 250 issues of Dragon from the CD-ROM set *should* be complete, but has anyone checked in the years since the disc set release?
I got a complete copy of Polyhedron issue 92 from Scribd but they only have one copy of issue 95, which is missing pages 15-18, just like every copy of it I've found on the web archive and spawningpool (which also has an incomplete copy of 92)
Issue 95 is the only one I need to complete the set.
Does PIA not do a periodic quality of service test to make sure that various popular websites will be accessible through their proxy servers?
What makes it especially irritating is not all of the sites with problems going through PIA have issues with the same servers. For example on the Denver server Google and the PIA site and Reddit worked but not Archive. But on Seattle, none work.
If they don't get this all fixed I'll be looking for another VPN that doesn't keep logs.
I updated the BIOS to 10.43 Beta. Then I enabled Secure Boot after I saw the news about keys expiring. I'd previously enabled the AMD CPU fTPM.
Now I want to update to BIOS 10.45 and even with secure boot, TPM, and ROM Armor disabled (I restarted and went right back to setup) it's still not enabling Instant Flash.
I have an Asrock B450 Pro4 motherboard with a Ryzen 5 3600 Matisse, no video in the CPU.
Here's the list of supported CPUs. https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/B450%20Pro4/#CPU
I cannot find a simple list of all those CPUs sorted by the order of Core name by release date. Cezanne, Matisse, Picasso, whatever Ridge, etc? Oldest to newest please!
I'm looking for the newest core type in 65W TDP, without built in video, Ryzen 7 or 9, that's not stupid high priced, 6 or more cores, and not any slower than the 3.6 Ghz of what I have.
What I have, with 32gig DDR4, has been doing well enough since 2019, but some more pep in the old thing would be nice, keeping budget and power use in mind.
It's not just the power bill as a reason for wanting 65W, I'm still using the same heat pipe cooler I bought years ago for a Phenom II. It was oversized for that so it worked just fine on what I had between the Phenom II and the Ryzen. I'm amazed AMD has kept the same cooler mounting all these years.
