I know that most toons don't have the best designs, but if there's any that pisses me off the most, it's brightney. If you like her design, good for you. It's just...

She is supposed to be a smart toon, she even runs a book club for petes sake, and does her design tell you that?

LAMP

Her head is a lampshade, which duh, that's obvious, but they felt the need to make her body a god damn lamp base. I wouldn't mind it if it wasn't based on the most clunkiest lamp base to make a body out of

Half the time i can't even tell what it's supposed to be. Is it a shirt? A dress? Or is it just her body? She looks like if an lamp got their base stretched out and her arms and hands were just slapped on. It's not like we need our CHARACTER DESIGN to tell the AUDIENCE about WHO the CHARACTER IS, right?

And dont get me started on the "shoes." Those aren't shoes, just a pattern on her feet. I'm sorry, but if i see PATTERNS in the shape of SHOES located on the FEET, I'm going to assume that its SHOES.

There is a reason why almost every fan design out there has either given her glasses, remake her design and outfit to be more comprehensive, or both. I would rather have any of those designs than this one. You don't need the lamp base in order to say she's a lamp, the lampshade and lightbulb already do the work.

I know that she's supposed to be a cartoon character, so in universe her design is supposed to be simple, but i can't imagine having to animate a HEXAGONAL BODY for brightney over and over.

"Oh, what about her skins? they give her glasses" the body is the problem for me. I cannot get any of her skins because they all look so clunky with that hexagonal body shape.

The day her TOTW skin makes her design infinitely better is the day i fork over 40 robux to get it. Her ability being a worse Vee should also be fixed, but that's at the very least practically guaranteed to at least be tweaked in some way, and I'm not as pissed off by it (though i still am).

Overall, brightney is my least favorite toon of all time. At least with shrimpo, there's a certain charm to his "i hate everything" attitude, even if it makes him one dimensional.

(I don't remember if I already did one of these, but screw it, I'm doing it anyway.)

Echoes!Amy: she does use Tarot cards, but they don't really give her any power.

Echoes!Cream: I imagine her voice (and Vanilla's too) to have a french accent. It's not strong, but it's noticeable.

Echoes!Vanilla: technically a part 2 to Cream's, but the main reason why both of them have french accents in the first place was because Vanilla's late husband was heavily french, and some of that french-ness rubbed off on Vanilla.

Tierra: She really likes fossils, especially those from the permian period (like dimetrodon or the gorgonopsids).

Clover: Her fur is genuinely soft. That's all I really have for her, and I'm not sure if I already stated that before.

The building itself seems to be cobbled together with stones and web, but it holds up really well. The sign "Ms. Muffyn's Muffins" can be seen on the roof of the building.

Echoes!Vanilla: "Thank you for helping, Tierra."

Tierra: "No problem, ma'am! If you need anymore help, just call me!"

Echoes!Vanilla: "Ok, I will."

Tierra runs off, and Vanilla starts the stone oven, prepares her cutlery and pans, and sets up the ingredients. What do you order?

Echoes!Vanilla: "Oh wow, dear. Is this where you've been, dear?"

Echoes!Cream: "Mhm! Along with Amy and Ms. Tierra too!"

FY Poison is a chinchilla who can control poison.

I originally made her as a vessel for Jojo, one of 5 victims for Alicoph, but now I find myself wondering if I should actually use her outside of an EXE setting? (changed to fit in, of course). I just find her concept to be too cool to waste, but I'm not sure if I should go for it just yet.

I am an amateur artist, I really only draw to jot down character designs (like these 3 OCs), and I have to ask how you guys are able to make steady lines, while I have to edit constantly just to make a part of my line work more steady. Sometimes it gets so bad i have to resort to using the rule tools on Ibis paint, though I try not to.

So, how do you guys do it?

Charlotte (the scientist one) is a flask that, in the show, makes a bunch of experiments. She is one of the mains, and her story is that she tried to recreate Ichor, but got it wrong almost all the time, and when she finally did it, she was overwhelmed with pride, but when her ichor homunculus attacked her, that's when she turned twisted. By far my most complete OC, and one I do want to use for a future project, though redesigned obviously.

Pearlie (the unfinished one) is a pearl that is supposed to be a summer main toon, but for whatever reason feels more like herself outside of season than in season, which is why her outfit is less "summer" themed than it should be on the posters. This is one OC that I don't know what to do with, and probably will forget about in a few years.

It's "nerdcore," so it may not be for everyone, but if you like TADC, you'll probably like the song, idk. I classified it as electronic because it's the only genre that really fits the description.

Also, why is there so much ai gen shit here? I came to this sub to promote myself and check out other real musicians/producers, not to see chatgpt write the same thing for the 10 billionth time.
