I spend an hour a day picking my face

I don't get acne j js tear into my pores digging for something. And this happens any time I'm near a mirror I js loose track of time. My skin looks horrible and cut up I feel disgusted all the time but I can't stop its so satisfying forcing stuff out of my pores.

Someone in my class purposely got in a car accident to get out the physics exam

There's this guy in my class who's a very high achiever, basically getting 9s in every GCSE. Everyone knows his parents are really strict about school and he's always been well-behaved, just a bit secluded.

During the Physics exam he normally sits next to me, but I noticed he wasn't there. That was weird because he literally has 100% attendance and hasn't taken a day off school since Year 7, not even when he was ill.

After the exam we had to stay in school for another hour before being dismissed because teachers were giving us the usual "behave yourselves" talk and searching people for stuff like fireworks and smoke bombs.

While we were waiting, I noticed he'd come in and I overheard him talking to his friends. He said his mum had got their car hit on purpose like a small collision — not a serious crash he said soemthing on the lines of she waited for a car to drive by that was moving quite fast and drove straight in at the same time to hit it , just enough to get him out of Physics because she was worried about the mark not even the grade like shed be mad if he got 180/ 200 and not his usual 185+ .he had no injuries btw but isn't that acc insane

He wasnt upset about it though he even looked relieved. He justified it by saying it gave him extra time to revise because he'd lost revision time from all the clubs he does, like reading and badminton MIND U HE'S PREDICTED NINES IN EVERY SCIENCE and he also does 5 hours a day on school days (we don't have study leave) and 12 on weekends he shows us his study bunny in class . Apparently his mum thinks grades are everything and that even getting an 8 would ruin his chances of getting into Oxbridge and hes life in general.

Ngl, I was shocked asf. Isn't that taking it way too far? Like, what are GCSEs doing to people? It genuinely felt dystopian hearing that.

I know This is a controversial one but does anyone else think this was quite an easy paper 3 edexcel

i'm working at a high 7 low 8 and i've never been able to do the last few questions on any edexcel paper till this paper because of how difficult they got.

in my opinion (before some PEOPLE get mad) the questions did not require like an insane amount of skill or thinking because most questions you just had to link different topics together like the question at the end about the reds and yellows i was shocked on how straight forward it was .

and before some people go.. yes i checked the markschemes and got the questions right.

just curious if anyone else shares this opinion because i've asked most people (yet another disclaimer because a lot of people are sensitive about this) and they found it easy

I hate how I can't fit into any prom dress

I hate how most prom dresses are pre-padded for A and B cups. I'm a 34F, and the pads literally make the girls overflow, which just makes me look like an attention seeker. It doesn't help that they're strapless as well.

I hate it so much. I'd lose weight, but I only have a week until prom. Why don't these brands think about us bigger-busted girls when they're padding dresses? It's not fair.

How do I get over the fear of accepting that I'm an F cup

I feel like most people growing up were misinformed about bra sizes. At M&S, I was measured as a DD cup, and when I measured myself, I came out as an F cup. But around me, anything above a DD is often considered ‘big/fat,’ and I don’t really understand why. It’s been very hard for me to accept that I’m not a 32DD but a 34F. I don’t really know how to explain it.

Especially as a teen it's like anything more than DDs are not common to hear about.

Concerns about my strapless dress

OK, so I got a strapless dress for prom and my mom’s disagreeing because she said I’ll be uncomfortable all night because I have a large bust size and the dress won’t hold up(34F). I’m thinking of sewing straps on, but I’ve never done that before—any tips? Also, the dress does come with a loop for straps, but I don’t know if they’ll be secure.

or should i just buy a new dress

I need help finding a good strapless bra for prom im a size 32DD

I have prom in 2 weeks and bought a dress with no sleeves, kind of like a tube-top dress. I have quite large boobs, and I want to get a bra with no straps. What do you guys recommend? I’ve heard a lot of people say sticky bras don’t work and that there’s no such thing as a true strapless bra and it’s all a marketing thing, but can I get y’all’s opinions? I’ve also heard of boob tape.

Got called selfish in a toy store for buying NeeDohs

Long story short, me and my friends went into our local toy shop and we all bought like two NeeDohs each. We didn’t go into the shop determined to find NeeDohs, but we just happened to see them and bought them.

While we were waiting in the queue to check out, a mum and her daughter saw us. Then the mum got upset and basically said it was selfish that we were taking fidgets away from children who actually need them. She said her daughter had ADHD and that the NeeDoh ice cube things were the only toys able to calm her down.

There were six of us and we got two each, so 12 needohs in total, and she just kept saying it was selfish. Her daughter also looked sad and upset.

Anyway, we got there first, so we just paid for them and were leaving, and everyone was giving all of us dirty looks. Someone even muttered “assholes”, and even the guy at the register was giving us dirty looks.

But were we actually in the wrong?
