Group Exercise Assessment

Hi folks, I have my group exercise assessment in Berkshire this Monday (second stage of the recruitment process) where we will be doing 'A practical scenario task that will require you to work with the other candidates, demonstrating both your individual behaviours and skills, and how you work as part of a team.'

Anyone have any tips or advice?

Cheers

Do Calipers Even Work?

29 year old male, somewhere between 5'7 and 5' tall, currently weigh 78.5kg/173lbs. I'm in doubt about my body fat percentage. I keep trying to test myself with calipers (albeit cheap ones from ebay) but every time I test I think "Surely that can't be right?" I just tried the Jackson Pollock 3 method, and it tells me im around 7%. That can't be right on account of me not being dead.

Pics in order are

2-front view tensed

3-back view

4-back view tensed

6-side view tensed

10-results of the caliper test (Surely not, right?)

M29, 5.7, 78.5kg

29 year old male, somewhere between 5'7 and 5' tall, currently weigh 78.5kg/173lbs. Experinced lifter, I lift roughly 3-4 times per week at decently high intensity (I take most sets to failure or close) and train in Krav Maga on the side. Fresh off a recent (not perticularly strict) bulk that lasted about 6 weeks (first time really trying one for that long), so not my leanest look ever, and I'm annoyed that my lower belly sticks out, regardless of cutting, bulking or maintaining. Ab muscles have always been there and getting worked (I regularly do hanging leg raises, v ups and side crunches, can hold a plank for minutes at a time) but never been perticularly 'showy'. Is it normal for the lower belly to stick out like that? I have recently come across 'stomach vacuums' and reintroduced the palloff press which are supposed to help. I also do a lot of back work (glute bridges, hip thrusts, resistance band kickbacks) so the lower back isn't getting neglected. Am I too hard on myself? Do I need to cut more?

I'm also in doubt about my body fat percentage. I keep trying to test myself with calipers (albeit cheap ones from ebay) but every time I test I think "Surely that can't be right?"
