I subscribe to AMC+ directly and I see titles that are available on AMC+ if I subscribe through Amazon, but when I go to the app, (as I subscribe directly), they’re not available. The Departed is the latest example.
I contacted support and they said that the providers decide what content they carry. I asked how a provider carries more content than the distributor. Crickets. 🤷🏻
Fun movie however nothing was really explained at the end. Left me wanting a little more. I like how they made the Sagan references and inserted a little bit of the science, but that part really didn’t have much to it.
Some of that acquired a bit of suspension of disbelief, like the young boy holding back the snake. But it’s all good.
Saw it in LieMax and there were lots of aspect ratio changes at weird times (usually it’s before an action scene). Should’ve just kept it at full LieMax aspect ratio the whole time.
Excellent use of surround speakers which I think most modern audio mixes don’t bother doing.
They have the pinpoint capability with Atmos (which I know IMAX doesn’t have) but so few movies use it. Stay until after the credits for some extra ambient sounds (no extra video).
I will also note that seeing Ewan as the father made me feel old thinking of him as Renton.

Not available at every store, but many have it on clearance. Check online and it will show you the in-store clearance price if it’s available.
Confirmation and shipping emails say “two home items” or “one apparel item” and provide no further details.
They used to say nothing other than the order number so I guess this is a step up, but it seems so silly.
Why can’t they show what I ordered or what is being shipped? What’s the big secret?
I have tickets for today (Saturday, Aug 1) and tomorrow for Odyssey at Lincoln Square and am unable to attend. I need to cancel but the website and app are unable to do it. Tickets show as "undefined" in description with correct theater and poster. I tried doing it from Order History but same issue.
I emailed guest services with their absurd numerous attempts to direct me to self help (the final insult being that you have to respond to their automated email to get to a human and then telling me they will get back to me in six days!!!).
Any suggestions? Don't want to get dinged for no-shows and for out of town showings.

SOLVED - the tickets for today appeared around 10:00 AM Eastern. Tomorrow's still show as undefined, but I expect that will resolve tomorrow morning. Guess this is how they are handling their IT problems.

If a theater is having 2AM showings of Spider Man and Odyssey in IMAX/Dolby, why wouldn’t they have showings in all of the other auditoriums?
Since they’re all digital, do they actually have projectionists in each theater?

I have tickets to Odyssey in Buford, GA for next week. I bought tickets a while ago when the auditorium was empty and planned to sign up for RU the day before and then cancel/rebuy with RU (I didn't want to sign up for RU at the time as I wouldn't be able to use it until August).
Now I see that showtime (midweek midday) is full and I'm concerned with doing the cancel/rebuy as there may be bots set up to snipe the seats as soon as I cancel.
What's the best way to handle this so that I can get the RU pricing/benefits for this movie? Can I go to the theater and sign up and then get a price adjustment on the tickets on the day of the showing?

It’s a new grate and a stick that holds a flame starter. You put the stick with the lit starter through the vent and then wait for the charcoal to ignite.

EDIT: I just realized that you need to keep the vent door open for this to work, which means no spark arrestor screen to prevent sparks from jumping out onto a wood floor or table when you need it the most during lighting.

For years, it was unavailable on streaming and now all of a sudden it’s available everywhere.
It’s one of my favorite movies and I have a physical copy, but wanted the convenience of having it on my iPhone and iPad as a mindless comfort movie to listen to.
Happy to now have it available but am curious what the hold up was for so many years.

First picture shows the checkout screen and then the second picture shows the reservation after it’s booked.
This is a constant problem with Marriott. Absolutely ridiculous.
And this is on top of the fact that they don’t have a simple button to filter for accessible rooms like every other hotel. You have to one by one go through the room types and see if an accessible room is available. Very tedious.
When I book a wheelchair accessible room, I am shown that it is guaranteed. When the reservation is completed, the entire request disappears. Sometimes it happens immediately and sometimes it occurs sometime before check in. It happens frequently enough that I am constantly checking my reservations.
And this is after dealing with the absurdity of the way you book an accessible room: First you select the room type and then choose the accessibility features you want and see if it is available for that room type. If not, rinse and repeat until you find a room type that can guarantee the accessible room.
Contrast that with nearly every other hotel which has a simple checkbox to filter rooms for accessibility.

I need to have a new cover fabricated for my custom egg table. The current cover is made from Sunbrella and the problem is the inside of it seems to get very dirty from being outside when not covering the table and it’s nearly impossible to clean.
Any suggestions on a good material to use?
