Don’t know if it’s a hot take but for me I like to read books that at least have a rating of four Stars on Kindle/amazon.

But I recently noticed that some Sites (in this case goodreads) allow people to review books that aren‘t even out yet (I could understand it for ARC but would have to be verified that they really had read the Book) or in this case a book that doesn’t even exist yet. And some people wrote a review (plus Stars) two years ago or so when the book was announced. Thus my question which Platform do you „Trust“ the most when it come to book ratings?

Little Side rant: it has happened twice this year that I was anxiously awaiting a book release only to learn that the book hadn’t even been written/finished yet (this one) or would be published at a later date bc the author wanted to rework it (announced After the Publishing Date already happened). I understand that those things can Happen but find it really annoying especially if you only get the info on or near the original Publishing Date🥲. Which is why I love Mariana Zapata Even more who just announced that her new Book Drops in less than two weeks!

First time I was a Hufflepuff and am now playing as a ravenclaw. Picture quality due to Switch 1

Planning to bake a Hazelnut Layer Cake and in need of some help/opinions from more experienced bakers

I want my Hazelnut cake to include Hazelnut dacquoise, Vanilla chantilly, Hazelnut praline, one crunch Layer, Coffee cremeux and sour cherry compote piped in alternating Circle for the Middle Layer and on top again chantilly and maybe praline plus Vanilla IMB for the outside of the cake.

I have two questions:

1. would you agree that a Dark (70%) Chocolate Coffee cremeux would fit best and do you have any favourite recipes that arent too runny? (Love Claire saffitz‘ recipes but somehow things like her Lemon Curd and cremeux are not as stable as I would want them to be)
2. how should i use the Hazelnut Praline? I don’t want the cake to be too Heavy but I definitely want to include it. I have read that I should Spread it lightly on the dacquoise so that the chantilly doesn’t soak into it

(Don’t know if I remember that correctly since in a different recipe they also just put it on in alternating circles)

1. or should I also do them in alternating Circles (but more chantilly than praline)

Plus I am also thinking about Making it Four filling layers since the cake layers are rather thin (and just three cake layers would look a bit weird with 20/22cm diameter or Even more layers? The dacquoise recipe I will use is from a cake with 6 cake layers). But if just Four fillings should I just Double the Middle Layer for that?

Ich habe diese Kekstorte letztens für einen Geburtstag gebacken. Das Rezept ist von Sally, aber ich habe eine italienische Meringue Buttercreme verwendet, damit aber nur einen Isolierring gemacht und außen eingestrichen und als Füllung (statt amerikanischer Buttercreme) eine Sahnecreme gemacht und wie im Rezept da Keksstückchen untergemischt.

Wirklich sehr lecker für jede/n, wo Chocolate Chip Cookies sehr geliebt werden, weil sie sowohl im Teig als auch in der Füllung und außen sind. (Hatte die Kekse mit einem Rezept von Sally aber selbst gemacht da ich die amerikanischen Cookies vom Supermarkt sehr süß in Erinnerung hatte.)

Nur die Ganache ist nicht ganz gelungen bzw. War etwas zu dickflüssig.

But the insta views are also kinda insane so I wanted to Share them as well. The Front Runner on all platforms is Harry and also in Likes. EG on tiktok he has 250k Likes atm and in second Place is ezra with 70k

And I have to say I absolutely loved Harrys Dance but for me he is also a very charismatic Dancer and just loved watching him.

Photo is a Screenshot from the newest yt Video and there is no leaderboard letter/overview on the Left Side which makes me Hope/believe that its non-competitive and thus we would get the Three Star Crate as a reward at the end.

Also any idea what the reward at the 900 points Mark is?
