Which artists fell off the hardest the past decade?

Past decade has seen a shift away from bro country and a lot of previously huge artists are now playing local venues instead of the huge venues they were selling out a few years back

I’ll start. Not all these artists are bro country nor do they have to be to have fallen off

Jake Owen

Brett Eldridge

Sam Hunt

Jon Pardi

Dustin Lynch

Russell Dickerson

Kane Brown (for obvious reasons)

Dan and Shay

Chase Rice

Scotty McCreery

Justin Moore

Midland not reaching their potential

I’ve had enough time to digest Stages and just can’t help but feel a little disappointed. Barely Blue was a similar feel.

Some decent songs on both albums but nothing close to the Last Resort or Let it Roll, let alone On the Rocks.

It feels like their popularity has similarly cratered pretty hard, I never hear about them and they don’t seem to be touring super hard.

Anyone else a little disappointed with them? Back in 2017/2018 I thought they’d be on par with Combs/Wallen in terms of popularity but they’ve been left behind pretty hard.

What’s the cheapest (legal) way to watch the Bruins out of market?

I live in Dorchester but work is taking me outside New England for 9 months.

Last time I was away for work comcast booted me out of Xfinity stream and said I couldn’t watch the bruins outside of my home WiFi.

What’s the best, cheapest legal way to watch?

Was Max Boot snacking while chatting with Ryen?

At 23:05 in the latest pod do I hear an…unmistakable potato chip crunch from Boot?

For further investigation go back to 21:00 and you’ll hear intermittent crinkling while they’re talking, perhaps the bag unfurling at a low volume like trying to silently un-Velcro something?

Thoughts? Let’s get a discussion going here.

Mentzer’s routine is only once every 4 days?

And the volume is pretty low too.

There’s no way he made his gains on this routine, it seems weird people are getting interested in it, isn’t it?

What am I missing?

The Hawk might be the worst show of all time

I’ve never been a massive Ferrell fan but liked him well enough to watch his hits but…wow

This show is beyond awful.

Jimmy Tatro showing up as a main character feels like the creator forgot it’s not 2016 anymore.

Did Ferrell just want someone to bankroll his range time?

Why do so many companies aggressively advertise on their shipping boxes?

Bought two holsters - 1 from safari land and one from T Rex, both came shipped in boxes wrapped with packing tape with the company label or written all over the box.

They sat outside on my porch all day both times until I got home from work.

Anyone walking by who has any sort of awareness can google those companies and see they primarily only make gun accessories.

How about a little Opsec? Frustrating

MLB fumbled the all star events

How do you not move it up to July 4th weekend for America 250?

Have the derby on Friday night and the ASG Saturday night, all the 4th parties would’ve had it on

Baseball is America’s pastime and it would’ve fit perfectly with the celebrations around the 4th but the moment has passed.

It’d be early for the break but the 2019 game was on July 9 and 1983 was on July 6, it’s not unprecedented. They could’ve made an exception for a big event like the 250th.

Has any big city figured out vehicle traffic?

Does any major or major-ish city not seem to have many vehicle traffic issues?

It seems like every city has it pretty bad, and then there’s the awful (LA, Atlanta, Boston, NYC), but is there any city where rush hour isn’t really a thing and you can breeze through pretty much whenever?

Mookie Betts has officially played the same amount of games for the Dodgers as he did in Boston

He’ll surpass it on Friday night.

Knew this was coming but still hurts all these years later. He should’ve been our first captain since Tek and a franchise cornerstone you tell your kids about like Yaz, Teddy, Rice, etc

Unfortunately history will remember him as a Dodger and his success there, 2018 will be a footnote in his biography and we let him go for…nothing.

Oh well.

Mass Impact - adding another leg day?

I know it’s a 5 day/week program but only 1 leg day isn’t really appealing to me.

I have the time and energy to do 6 days in the gym, did anyone add an extra leg day to the program?

Morgan Wallen - publicity stunts?

I see the latest Wallen controversy has been making the rounds, him supposedly grabbing the security guards phone and throwing it off the stage.

Does anyone else feel like this and the piano thing were intentional publicity stunts?

I’ve been to a lot of concerts and never seen security that close filming that overtly. He even danced into the phone briefly before grabbing it.

Along with it being named literally the “I’m the problem” tour, these incidents have been juicing up conversation about him a lot and Im not sure how organic these moments are.

The NFL not having a team in LA for over 20 years is crazy

I know there was no stadium and fan interest for both the Rams and Chargers haven’t been as strong as some other teams, but by far the country’s biggest sport going 20 years without a team in the second largest metro area in the country is so weird.

And it’s the entertainment city in the country.

I remember the threats from all the teams to move to LA but the fact that no owners ponied up the money to build a stadium to try to tap into that market for 2 decades, as the NFL experienced unrivaled growth, is really one of the most bizarre sports stories of our time.
