If only one bed in a two+ bed room appears used, is the bedding of both still stripped after checkout?
I ask this because I often travel to visit friends and family. When I do so, I usually book a room with two beds in case one of them wants to spend the night or visit during the day. Sometimes they don’t, or sometimes they only stay on one of my earlier nights, so the bed that I didn’t sleep in often looks untouched by the time I leave.
However, for the sake of hygiene, I always undo the bedding for both beds, as even if no one came over, I might have set me stuff in the other bed and sat on it without thinking about it.
Should I keep doing this, or is policy usually to strip the sheets regardless?
And bonus question: I often use the hotel hairdryer so will leave it out when I leave so housekeeping knows it needs to be cleaned. If you put it back in its proper place/in its pouch, will housekeeping clean it, or is it protocol to clean it anyway?
My 100th credit! [Goliath] at [Six Flags Great America]!
Got a winner here.
Fire lane curbs on both sides. Best guess is maybe the car broke down, but it's more likely they're just stupid.
Any hotels still have lounges?
I’ve been a diamond member for probably around five years now and have never seen a Hilton property with a lounge. Or if I have, the lounge was closed or converted to something else.
Do they even still exist? Anyone visit one recently? Kinda sucks to have this advertised as a perk and never get it.
Cancelling a newly-opened credit card within a few days? What to expect?
Long story short, I opened up a United Airlines credit card with Chase and had an absolutely abysmal experience with the airline's customer service and flight, with several of my benefits not being provided, and when I brought it up to customer service, they kept finding ways to blame me rather than offer any accommodation. The experience was so awful and taxing that I'm considering just cancelling the card since I don't plan on flying with United again after this.
Now, I have several credit cards with Chase, and I haven't even put any spend on the card yet/I'm a big spender on my other accounts and have been for years, so I'm not concerned about a SUB-clawback or anything. But I'm curious to know, has anyone here been in this situation before where you cancelled a newly-opened card? If so, how does it work? Does the account still end up reporting to the bureaus?
Thanks in advance!
Delta Flew from LAX to Burbank Today

Delta flight 483 from Atlanta to Burbank had to get diverted to LAX because of wind. Stopped there to refuel and then flew to Burbank. Funny that because of the flight path it took 30 min. On a good day you might be able to drive there faster lol
Obsessed with this acoustic rendition of “Vanish Into You”
Deserves a Spotify/Apple Music release tbh!
Am I the only one noticing how many people are sick right now?
I type this from home at the tail end of a cold that has lasted about a week with lingering symptoms. Apparently, I’m not the only one — I’ve spoken to several people who either are sick themselves or are in close proximity to people who are. I can’t be the only one, can I? Is there something specific going around or is it just a rough time of year?
The MAYHEM era has meant so much to me
I’ve literally never felt this connected to a body of work before. Ever.
The Mayhem Ball was the first concert I ever saw more than once: I saw it three times. AND went to Mayhem Requiem.
For me, the album came out at an imperative time in my life: just after loosing my grandfather to cancer and being laid off from my job, and right before my first of three major surgeries I would soon endure that same year. The album, show, and of course, little monsters gave me a place where I could be accepted. It reminded me that I could win the battle against myself and accept my faults and flaws. It gave me a place where my negativity could coexist with all the good, not outweigh it.
The era lasted about a year, and it was full of so, so many highs, yet a part of me is mourning the fact that it’s over.
Yes, we’re getting the tour film and requiem, but there is just something so incredible about the live production. Even if I wasn’t there, just knowing that that same safe space was being created for others.
PAWS UP!
Wanna watch a YouTube video? Here are two unskippable ads followed by a pop-up window. And then two more two minutes later.
Viewing your friends’ IG stories? Catch 2-3 ads BETWEEN EACH story.
Scrolling your IG feed? The FIRST few posts are ads, and if they aren’t ads, chances are they’re sponsored.
Swiping on Tinder? You’re also swiping on ads.
Even on Reddit? Ads disguised as posts.
I mean everywhere you go it’s just ads, ads, ads, and it feels very Orwellian. I get that these apps need to make money, but staying connected with people shouldn’t be THIS commodified.
Genuinely curious. I live in the BH/WeHo area but work in the Burbank/Glendale area. At times, I feel like my drive is pretty long compared to others (mostly just because driving through Hollywood and over the hill sucks) but then I meet some people who drive way further.
How far do each of y’all drive?
So please tell me if this is normal
This will be my third time going to Nissan for service on Monday
First was due to air conditioning not working and over heating with the check engine light one (if anyone is curious I can tell you guys the service notes)
Second was due to the pictures attached sadly due to the panic of trying to get out of the freeway I couldn’t take any photos
Third time I’m going to come in this Monday is going to be because of the same reason as the second but I was able to take photos
By the way when ever the photos attached photos happens. Car slows down and I end up going from 65 straight to 35 until it hits zero and I’m stuck in the freeway
At this point I don’t know what to do
Service guy mentioned not much they can do until they look at it but imagine the fear from being in the freeway and those issues pop up. Second time I’m about to have a car accident.
I wish I could just sell the car but it’s a
2024 Nissan pathfinder SV where I still owe 35k! I only
Have 29k miles on it
Luckily it’s still in warranty but what if the next time, I do get in that car accident.
Will be interesting to see how other airlines react!
And I’m taking when you’re really tired. Like, so tired it hurts. It’s an uncomfortable feeling that actually stops me from falling asleep when I’m less tired.
Anyone else?
When I parked, there were no cars next to me. Came out to find this...the worst part is there were SO many open spots, but they chose to squeeze in here like this. 🤬🖕🏼 I had to do passenger seat gymnastics to get in my car.
