Found a great deal on eBay for this gorgeous vintage Walther LP-53 .177 caliber air pistol!

The LP-53 was a happy accident used during the promotional shoots for From Russia With Love. The imagery was so successful and iconic it spanned multiple actors and advertising campaigns... As can be seen on all the vinyls.

It shoots great and is a ton of fun for light plinking. Unfortunately someone somewhere along the way taped the box, but it did come with all the original accessories!

There once was a time where 007 and smoking were like peas and carrots. I mean come on, our first introduction to the character had a cigarette barely hanging off of Sean Connery's lips. If James Bond is going to remain the king of cool, he needs to pick up some tobacco again! I do not care whether it be cigars or cigarettes, but if the swagger is to remain, nicotine must be in the game.

Here are two prime examples of cigars dripping with bond DNA. The Romeo Y Julieta cigar case was used in Thunderball to contain his miniature rebreather from Q, it also made an appearance in The World is Not Enough from the "Cigar Girl" and gifted to Miss Moneypenny.

The Monte Cristo has made multiple on-screen appearances and was a key negotiating factor for Roger Moore's contract, which stated he could have an unlimited free supply during production.

Amazon needs to step up and do the right thing, it matters not that smoking is hazardous to your health... The man has a bloody license to kill after all!

Also, pictured is a very clean Gen 1 @waltherarms P99, and a vintage box of swan Vesta matches that can be seen on M's desk, as this was his preferred match of choice.

Here we have lots of TMWTGG goodies, 62' PPK, First Edition Fleming novel, a Cuban Monte Cristo (Roger's favorite), a 1965 Playboy with original flyer still present and intact! (Huge thanks to my father-in-law for this!), a Nikon F2 that belonged to my father (these can be seen in Hong Kong outside of The Bottoms Up), and of course Tobasco!

If Rick Oconnell was excavating the undead in the late 1950s, I would like to think that he would have at some point rocked a Colt Detective Special.

I love carrying this in the Galco Holsters Half Harness rig with some nice khaki trousers and a white cotton shirt, it really fits the vibe!

A very special post here today at H.H.H. We are in the birthplace of Bond, all the way from Station J, Jamaica!

My Rolex GMT (technically a Bond watch) dawned on a Bond RAF strap. This is the most faithful recreation of the Bond strap in existence, made with vintage materials. Unfortunately, the U.K. supplier has seemed to have dried up his inventory years ago. 

The Pepsi is sitting on a conch shell that I found at the base of a ruined helicopter pad that was used to transport Sean Connery and the cast/crew for Dr. No, all the way back in 1962. Unfortunately, there is not much left of the pad due to multiple hurricanes over the years. Some say the shell is worth $50 in Miami... 50!

The helipad was located on the end of the jetty in the background. See photo 2 for a pic of what is left of the pad, @matthewchernov has a great photo of what it looked like before it's complete collapse.

Also pictured in the background is none other than Dr. No's lair! Just like in the film, the real life location is an active bauxite mine, the pier has definitely seen better days, but remains largely unchanged.

I was very disappointed to see Rolex discontinue (hopefully only temporarily) the legendary Pepsi. Luckily I secured mine years ago.

I wore this watch on every sortie I flew as a pilot. Now it has accompanied me to the bottom of the world and through the Straight of Magellan.
