Hello,

Does anyone have experience with workers compensation? I have been struggling with anxiety and trouble sleeping caused by workplace stress. I am a Victorian primary school teacher, and a student in my class has had incidents where they have sworn at me, screamed at me after I tried redirecting them towards safer choices, said unkind things to me and other students, and in the last month has hit another teacher and been violent towards me. I have chronicled these incidents. Nothing major, just doing threatening motions as if he were going to hurt me. These behaviours have not left any physical mark but given me anxiety each morning.

Would I be able to meet with a psychologist to help with this anxiety and get workers compensation for lost wages and medical bills, or would the incident have to be worse to do that?

If I did get workers compensation, would this sour my relationship with my principals and be detrimental to future job opportunities (if principals gives me a bad reference).

I am confused about how the back pay works. So currently I am a graduate teacher, but in October I will start to receive roughly $1000 more than I currently do per month with this new agreement. So, there are roughly 7 weeks from 10 Aug to 1st October. Does that mean that in October, I will receive $2K before tax from this back paid period ? (On top of the $2k lump sum, and 3K pay for that period)

I checked the AEUVIC website, and couldn't find any info for CRTs. Any idea how this agreement will affect CRTs?

When will we find out?

since the STEM teacher was away, I had my class for that session when usually that would be non face to face planning time. Will I get an extra session next week to make up my lost planning time?

I use TrueRC singularity antennas on my tiny whoops, do you think over time after many flights and crashes etc, the antennas stop working or degrade? I use to get a great signal flying around my house and now heaps of break up, i've tried different transmitter channels too.

Any thoughts?

Victorian Graduate grade 4 teacher doing reports right now (in gov school), for EAL student, whom is basically at level for their English skills, what report mark do I give?

I am not familiar with the b1, b2, b2.1 marking system for 'speaking' 'reading' and 'writing.'
