where do i start? im currently in college ( for non Uk people college in uk is educationm from 16 -19 years typically for 2 years 17-18 mostly) i want to know if its a good carrer path, is it sustaibnable and how can i get into the field? i. also i often do look at real uk suburban street layouts form differnt eras for inspo so the basics are sort of already hardwired in my head in terms of how to utilise land and space for development?

these arches on my street that are not normal for 1930s suburbia?, even though they sort of look like half porches. They are built into the front of the houses as brick entrance arches and they create a really unique look across the street.

I have been looking everywhere for the same type of arches in other areas, nearby towns, and even using reverse image search, but I cannot find this exact design anywhere else. Most streets just have the same copy and paste 1930s suburban houses with small porches, but this street has a feature that seems completely different??

Not even surrounding streets built a few years prior to this ahve these, and i have found hosues tthat look 100% the same to them in nearby towns and many streets in my town, however my street is the only one with these arches? approximently 140 houses or less havbe these alternating arches

The problem is that some of the arches have already been damaged, covered, altered or destroyed because of changes to the fronts of the houses. I am worried that if nothing is done, the remaining arches will slowly disappear and then it will be too late to save them.

Would something like this be worth raising with the council for urgent protection, such as local listing, conservation area status, or an Article 4 Direction? Also, if they were recognised as important, could the damaged ones ever be surveyed or possibly rebuilt properly?
