Love that it acknowledges Resident Evil being full of The Things

It's always awkward having to explain to my (LOVING) boyfriend that the 3 dolls that arrived today were ordered months ago (6 & 2 months ago) and I SWEAR I'm not just buying a bunch of dolls back-to-back LOL (unless they're $7-$15 each, then I'll totally do a doll haul)

REALLY wanna keep both, but MAY put Shorty up for trade with the extra Scarah and other dolls I've been slowly collecting to hopefully one day trade for my #1 DISO Dream doll...Greta Gremlin lol.

No disrespect to the artist, they make good art, but I hate when I’m looking for their good art I happen upon this and I’m tired of it.

This goes out to anyone who doesn’t understand how the thing works

The thing from the movie John carpenters the thing, and the prequel from 2011 is a misunderstood creature.

The thing is you, it takes your body for itself, it is you down to the last small detail except for non biological material like piercings or fillings but that’s more from the prequel

If it was in a human host for example, if it wanted to eat it would use its human mouth and teeth to chew the food, and then use the human digestive track to digest the food, it isn’t a thing in human skin it’s a thing in a human body,

it doesn’t have thing tentacles and thing teeth lying in wait right under its human skin, it has human flesh and human organs under its human skin, it can make thing teeth and thing tentacles but it doesn’t just have them ready.

Also if you haven’t watched John carpenters the thing please go do that it’s an amazing movie it has Kurt Russel and Keith David in it. If you can’t watch it then at least watch the kill count of it by dead meat on YouTube.
