A Religious Painting by a 5 Year Old 🖼 🎨 🖌 ✝️

An orthodox prayer quick crude street artwork. A priest on YouTube reminded me about it. I've been putting it to the test. It's a short prayer that you can repeat. Its definitely humbling to open up your heart and recite. I'm just recovering a bit from the negative comments on my prior artwork. The negative voices that offer little genuine kindness or substance are like a water off a ducks back though 💪. What struck me was how one sided and subjective they were, priortizing their role as viewer over and above any insight or curiosity about me or why I do my artworks or why I post them here. There were no positive comments either. But I did recieve a positive comment from my friend whose opinion I value and respect. Be well. ❤️

Blessed are the Pawns that Bleed -- ✝ ❤️ ️🌞

https://voca.ro/1eqd14N8M3u4 -- Artwork read aloud 🎤 by Me with synth sample music 🎹 🎶

An artwork I made from the last line of the beatitudes, from the scene where Jesus preach his sermon on the mountain. The symbolism is pretty self explanatory. ✨️ The artwork is like a grafitti street poster. The quote I had in mind and drew from for the artwork is here:

"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you."

— Matthew 5:11–12 (New International Version)

Not much more to add. I just wanted to highlight this message from the Gospel to strengthen those in adversity, especially J.B.P, and my Uncle and Aunt. What I found interesting was also this interpretation of Matthew 5:11--12:

The Call to Joy: Jesus commands a deliberate, active joy ("Rejoice and be exceeding glad") in the face of adversity, as it is a testament to the believer's enduring faith.

If anyone knows what J.B.P and his scholarly roundtable said about this section feel free to comment.

Blessed are the persecuted, so they persecuted the Prophets who went before you, and now the dwell in heaven, so be full of joy when the world hates you and turns against you, when people slander you, abandon you and turn away, for the judgement rights all wrongs, and the Father and Son are just and deliever the faithful, but those who lack faith, they throw into flames, a refining fire for human souls. May we shoulder our Cross with joy. May our faith endure when we are tested by Satan under the authority of the Lord.

Be well. 🌞

P.s -- And anyone who wants to be insulting or comment hate, please don't direct it at me. Feel free to ruthlessly critique the artwork, message, ideas, but be constructive and show respect. Don't be a person of slimey and weak character. Remember to stand up straight, with your shoulders back.

The Golden Token ✨️ 💛 ✝️

“When he found a golden token lost and partially hidden on the pavement, in his joy, he stopped what he was doing, sold off everything that he had, and left the world.”

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 7:21)

"And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:" — Luke 15:23

Pet a cat when you encounter one on the street. When things are not good and hard, you get these little moments where a little bit of possibility still shines through. You've got to take those moments when you get them.

There‘s no guarantee Basil, my cat, will return home safely 🏠 to me each night; so, it’s always a joy when he does 🐈.

Be well. 🌞
