getting my first boob check and pap at 23.

so I scheduled an appointment originally because there is a bump on my nipple that has increasingly gotten inflamed within the last 48 hrs. little backstory, 2 years ago I took nipple piercings out and everything was okay but there always was a small indent on the side of my boob where the hole was. But within the past two days where the hole was there has been an increase in inflammation and pain. But after talking with my mom about it more we both thought it was best to do a full body exam including the mammogram that will probably need to be done here too. I am a bit nervous so if anyone can please help a gal out with advice to soothe my anxiety anything would help (no need to tell me I’m old as hell to JUST be going , ik already) between finishing school and acclimating to post grad life it’s all just been a lot so it kinda went on the back burner until this boob bump situation.
