For those who have seen it, how does the 4k Criterion Captain Blood look? How does it compare to other 4k releases of films of that era? How does it compare to the old DVD release? Or the Blu Ray? I already have the (non Criterion) DVD and I'm trying to decide if I want to upgrade.

I haven't seen many reviews online. So I'm looking for more opinions. I bought an OLED tv recently and I really like how old black and white movies look in 4k with the high-contrast.

Noob question. I'm reading the latest Batman series and I'm wondering: how did Alfred die? Also, how have Vandal Savage and Poison Ivy gotten in positions of political power?

Are these things explained in a previous series? Or is it part of the mystery of the story? If the former in which series does that bit of continuity come from?
