What does a good-looking Soviet truck look like? Painted in various shades of green, of course.

Unless it is a Pyke. Then it needs to be blue.

Nothing beats the unmatched stability and agility of the Phoenix.

It remains an S-tier truck in my book despite all of its downsides such as the slow steering ratio, no always on differential lock and Azov chin.

If you don't want to be sideways, take a Tatra.

Getting some nice growth even after planting them. I hope I am getting even more when the roots reach the cow manure in the ground. Also Hungarian wax grows funny.

From left to right: padrón peppers, jalapeños, Hungarian wax.

Four changes to hard mode I'd like to see.

Always on differential lock ---> switchable

All trucks that have always on differential lock get switchable differential lock instead. the damage to the differential lock on hard surfaces should increase as well. This not only makes things more realistic but it also makes sure that you have to think about when to use it. There probably are trucks irl that don't even have a differential to begin with but it is hard to imagine that every 2nd truck has it. I wonder how that affects the balance of the game though.

Trailer health

Having trailer health will have players put extra care on not dragging their trailers haphazardly around corners. It should be kept simple with only frame health and tire health being a thing. If the frame is damaged you can't pack Cargo, if tires are damaged... Well your tires are damaged and the usual happens.

Cargo health

To make sure overloading and driving with a damaged trailer actually has consequences there should be cargo health. Depending on the cargo it should be more or less resistant to damage with solar panels being amongst the most fragile and logs being super durable.

Cargo weight

Cargo should weigh the same strapped vs unstrapped. This not only makes overloading have proper consequences but you are required to use a proper crane to load a ten ton cargo container onto the truck instead of using the blue mini crane.

Just like in true soviet fashion, no two greens are the same.

I am just going to ignore that this truck is from 2015. Last time i checked the soviet union was no longer active during that time.

My Tatra Phoenix is a bit underchallenged in Scandinavia but it never feels bad to drive.

Tatra nezná bratra or something like that.

Grimdark worldgen mod?

So basically i am looking for one or more mods (and shaders) that change the world generation to something that would resemble something like Elden Ring.

I would not mind more mobs but they should fit somewhat into the base game itself.

As for gameplay changes. I'd prefer if not much changes. I still want it to be a relatively vanilla experience.

The version does not matter but preferably as new as possible. However 1.12.2 would give me an excuse to play with Thaumcraft again... which would no longer make this a """vanilla experience""" but at least i have an excuse to play that mod again.

Loved bringing out this soviet polluter for a one off mission.

Now i looking at the size of this water tank i wish we had a 1800l fuel addon for these small trucks in vanilla. I'd like to have more than 900l which is quickly used up by some vehicles.

How can I tell if a padrón pepper is good to harvest?

I don't know if they will get bigger or red eventually but I can squish it with my hand easily.

I don't care about reusing the seeds by the way. At least not yet.

I'd like to see more short frame trucks. the agility of the m916a1 is unmatched.

Speaking of which. i believe this truck might be better at pulling semi trailers than the ANK civ which has the same tires.

Especially MOBAs and hero shooters that rely on distinct color palettes and silhouettes are a good place to pick colors from. But this approach of painting your trucks relies on the fact that the character you are picking from is designed well to begin with.

I probably have more but my plants are a tangled mess. I can't separate and plant them onto the ground just yet.

Also i find N. Carolina to be very fun. A lot of focus on building the nuclear power plant as well as cooling towers and lots of logging. even the seismic measurements are good (coming from a guy who does not like these). I'll give it a 9/10 on the fun scale (point deducted for not being able to fix some bridges).

It has a good difficulty level that is not too much for RWD trucks like the P16, P512, and W990. I hope the TerraPro gets special tires like that of the Pacifics too so it performs a little better.
