Hello! I'm Izzet_Aristocrat,

I'm a moderator of the subreddit, but not the head mod.

I was brought on about three years ago and the sub just kinda exists.

I was asked, and at the time, had free time to help out. That obviously changed.

What didn't however, was the sub. This place seems just as barren as it did before.

I have a job and attend college, so I'm not the most active as you can guess. But for the fuck of it, I'll try to steer the ship.

As for the card fetcher, I'm honestly not sure how to do that. I'm also listed as inactive so I can't do certain things. But I'm going to pretend to care and moderate this place a little bit.

Which is going to bring me to the new rules for posting, and pretending to care about post quality.

1. Post whatever you want. Seriously. I'm not your fucking mom. I don't care. Within reason. Pet posts are fine, swastikas of magic cards and racist bigoted talk about trans people, isn't. This isn't one of those anti-woke places. I'd like to think if I'm in charge of one of these places, that I'm not a ruler of chuds. As long as it's related to magic or other card games, go ahead.

2. Deck posts. Obviously this is the point of the sub. There's just one problem...

No one gives a fuck. Like the other subreddits for deck building, unless you're building something really popular, like edhrec top 50, most people won't help you. Especially for universes beyond stuff. You just end up with lists and posts that ask for feedback or advice...and no one responds. This is a problem for other subs such as r/edh and it's a worse problem here. How do we fix that? I'm honestly not sure.

3. Don't be fuckwads. This one's obvious. I'm not even gonna give out warnings. I see someone being a dickhead to others in the sub and it's a ban.

I'm gonna try to steer the helm and when I can, add more active mods. Bare with me. -Izzet_Aristocrat.

Edit Edit: I'm gonna try to make this more a laid back sub. The point of the sub is to make the most optimal suboptimal lists. So bracket 3, and bracket 4 decks.

I kinda dig the boros one and think a Boros goodstuff creature pile would be pretty good.

I know they're legal in pauper, but weren't we supposed to get an announcement on them for pauper commander?

I've never played a monkey ball title. I noticed monkey ball because one of them has a Kazuma Kiryu dlc and I love the Yakuza series.

The PSN store has two games. Banana Mania and Banana Blitz HD.

Edit: Bought Mania. Been playing as Beat. Game seems easy despite some weirdness, but I'm betting that's gonna change real fast.

Are either of these safe starting points?

I'm a series vet and have platinumed most entries in the series. (only japanese exclusive Kenzen and PS3 Dead souls are the only entries I haven't)

I'm currently working on Pirate and doing the Minato girls thing.

Honestly, I'm kinda sick of the hostess stuff.

It was alright in the past, and some of the stuff in Gaiden was funny. I liked the work out video one where the girl's yelling at Kiryu.

But it feels so played out. They've mixed it up a little bit. I liked it with Infinite Wealth with being catfished on e-dating but it feels played out at this point.

What do you guys think?

Edit: I enjoyed the cabaret minigame enough, I mean like the dating and let's hire actresses stuff.

I love the art but I wonder if a card this old is still good in Pauper.

Let's talk about fetches. Or rather, what little fetching we have in pauper.

Specifically cards like [[Terramorphic Expanse]], [[Evolving Wilds]], and [[Ash Barrens]]

Are any of these worth running in a deck if you're playing a mono color build? I have a house ruled Dark Confidant deck with Opal Palace and Bojuka Bog, but what else is there to run in a mono color deck?

I'm trying to get a hold of the soundtrack to Katamari Damacy in FLAC file format and am very confused.

For starters it seems to be several albums? I can't seem to find the exact one. Video game archive sites for soundtracks have it but it doesn't seem to be the same one that Bamco put on streaming sites a couple years ago.

Can anyone clear up my confusion?

So naturally we need to figure out how to build him.

When Massimo or another creature you control enters, exile up to one target instant or sorcery card with mana value 1 from your graveyard. If a card is exiled this way, that creature gains "Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a player, copy the exiled card. You may cast the copy without paying its mana cost.

How do we make this work? My first thought was fill the deck with cards like [[Slither Blade]] and run a bunch of brainstorm/opt cards, and use cards like [[Lyla]] to put 1+/1+ counters on things in exchange for card draw. Could also use Cathars Crusade to go wide as well.

But that seems convoluted and like it wouldn't get us across the finish line.

My other thought was voltron, but typically speaking, we want those spells BEFORE damage. Not after. Getting Infuriate off every combat is nice till you realize it's AFTER you punch something in the face.

I really want [[Bloodghast]] and [[Puresteel Paladin]] as uncommons. I just want them as commanders.

I also wish they'd print more prowess or trigger doubling cards at common. My sprite dragon deck is staring at the spoilers today and it's fucking jealous.

Examples for me include;

Where did you sleep last night? - The Nirvana cover is much better than Leadbelly in my opinion.

The Man Who Sold The World - Midge Ure I find his version with the synths and 80's instrumentation to be the best. But I'm also a Metal Gear fan.

I Took A Pill In Ebiza - Seeb The mike posner version is terrible, but everyone knows that. This version sounds fantastic. I suppose this is the obvious one.

Shred Envy - Pictureplane Rmx I fucking love HEALTH. They're my favorite band. But I did not care for Shred Envy when Conflict DLC came out last year. The Pictureplane remix is fantastic.

And for ones I hate?

I once heard a sped up Chipmunk voiced cover of Biz Markee's Just a Friend. I usually don't hate music except country. But I felt nothing but disdain hearing that. I've also heard really shitty teen punk bands make covers of Smells Like Teen Spirit. Working retail man, if it's not shitty pop songs, it's horrid covers of good ones.

And I'll also list Vibe Cop. The Lil Texas mix in particular. I don't know who Lil Texas is, but for the love of fuck, never let him touch a fucking HEALTH song ever again. An angry sped up version of Vibe Cop with him yelling some mexican word (entarasante?) repeatedly just sounds fucking stupid. And one of the few times I've objectively fucking hated a HEALTH song. Especially sad since Vibe Cop is a decent track on its own.

[[Genji Glove]] I know it gives double strike and extra combat steps but I'm confused by this line of text.

When equipped creature attacks, if it's the first combat phase, untap it. There is an additional combat phase.

Does this just cancel my combat phase from the first one? As in, if I swing at a player, is that just gone now? Or can I hit one player, go to combat 2 and hit another one?

I got hired for online picking, which is pretty basic and my day flies by so I don't mind, but they had me end my day with dispensing for the last two hours today.

While learning it, I had old guy with an american flag license plate (you know the type) who wouldn't give me his code and just started swearing and taking food. Telling me to quote and you assholes can tell your fucking supervisor I ain't doing this tech shit anymore either! Fuck all of you and this fucking bullshit! as if any walmart employees are gonna remember one dude out of the hundreds that patronize a store a day?

I asked the woman training me what to do after dickhead left and she told me to just take the food away and not give it to him. But I'm a bit hesitant to do that since this guy seemed belligerent and stocked everything himself. (It was just two totes) And I didn't feel like getting punched by some 50 year old asshole because he can't work a phone app.

I just bought the newest macbook Air. (couldn't afford a new pro.)

On both my macbook air and my old pro, sometimes the laptop would get hot when I was using it. But I could never figure out why.

It just started getting hot a few minutes ago and all have open is ten tabs on firefox. No other programs, nothing. It used to be that this happened due to me not updating it, usually updating firefox would fix it. But there's not even a new update for me to install right now. All I have open is a couple email tabs, youtube, apple music, and discord. With the exception of youtube nothing's playing.

I don't understand it, what is using so much cpu in just a few tabs?

Edit: I just closed out and exited everything. Seems restarting it fixed the temps. This is really annoying and been a thing for years. Why haven't they fixed this?

I want to be blunt that I'm not looking to play Cyberpunk. I mean like Kotor 2, Gothic 2, maybe and that's a big maybe, Fallout 3. That and emulating old games like PS2 games and Gamecube titles like Windwaker.

Can the Thor play these games? Do I have to worry about overheating? And how do I get these games onto the handheld? (I ask this one because my only computer is a macbook Air so if what I need to transfer won't play nice with MacOS that might be a problem.

I'm also a fan of the band TISM. My favorite band is HEALTH. And one of my favorite rappers is a guy named Benny Troung that deleted all his mixtapes off Youtube and Bandcamp a couple years ago.
