Fake bills in N. Tryon Wells Fargo Atm

I took out cash to pay the house cleaners last night at the Wells Fargo on N Tryon near Sugar Creek. Grabbed it and put it in my pocket, thought nothing of it. Apparently one of the bills is a movie fake. It's noticably smaller than the other bills and has the THIS IS FAKE stamp. Kinda surprised it got through whatever systems WF has. Just a heads up I guess, check your bills if you're getting cash.

Edit/Update: I haven't figured out how to effectively report this yet, and I'm not sure that I will given the amount of time following it's discovery. In the end it's just $20. Here are some additional facts:

  • I took the cash out and put it in my pocket immediately. I didn't check it over as I didn't want to be standing outside counting bills on N Tryon (I was on foot at the time).
  • My cleaners request that the payment is placed in a sealed envelope so that it's clear if there have been shenanigans between taking the money and returning it to the lady in charge. I put the cash in the envelope the night before, less than an hour after getting home.
  • I've been working with this cleaning agency for 5+ years and they have always been trustworthy, to the point of firing people suspected of theft etc and letting us know (we weren't stollen from afaik). It would be a very odd breach of trust to fake us out of $20 like this, seems very unlikely. We're just going to pay them an extra $20 next time.

They were giving away a truly random array of stickers in the office today but there was only one option

Well, I guess two but if I only picked one it would be the sexiest man alive.

Returning player trying to update an old commander precon

I'm just getting back into Magic after about 10-12 years. Started with MTGA so I could get familiar with the newer sets and mechanics, then dipping into draft events and some commander at my LGS. I have an old [[Prossh, Skyraider of Kher]] ["Power Hungry" precon](https://moxfield.com/decks/O3zgKgwidEaOkEc0KeyRow) that I had barely used (seriously, there were probably 20+ cards I had never even held in hand before).

I like playing creature sacrifice and token decks, but the original build hasn't aged very well. After playing it a few times my take is 1) Too slow, not enough ramp and hard to establish anything in the first 3-5 turns. 2) Lots of the card abilities seem expensive compared to more recent versions 3) No Planeswalker removal 4) Old mechanics like fear don't seem very relevant anymore

I'm focusing on the "make cheap tokens, use them as a resource" thing as well as ETB effects that would trigger when waves of tokens drop. I ordered some cards that I found recommended in some old blogs as well as some that just seemed right or happened to pick up:

[[Searslicer Goblin]] cheap early card that can pop out tokens

[[Squee, the Immortal]] Cheap, basically permanent sacrifice fuel

[[Slash, Reptile Rampager]] does ETB damage and makes tokens

[[Impact Tremors]] seems like an obvious choice

[[Bastion of Remembrance]] another obvious choice?

[[Zulaport Cutthroat]] Again, why not?

[[Weftstalker Ardent]] Basically same, pulled one in a draft

[[Mayhem Devil]] pinging whenever I sacrifice AND when opponents!

[[Perforating Artist]] He's annoying and might make everyone hate me more?

[[Korvold, Fae-Cursed King]] Nice to have another dragon and he gets permamently stronger with sacrificed chumps

[[Nine-Lives Familiar]] Didn't buy it but pulled it randomly. Seems like an update to Endless Cockroaches but I could be wrong

[[Hero's Downfall]] Just in case of planeswalkers?

Any suggestions or feedback welcome. I am explicitly NOT building a [[Food Chain]] deck, I'm not that rich, fancy, or cruel.

Don't be a [blank] at the phone? Don't be a parrot at the phone? Don't be a bird at the phone? None of those are jokes or puns. No idea what this could mean.

Reposted because I needed to add what was confusing about this

I remember playing this around 2007 but I may have downloaded it in the previous couple of years. I remember that getting particularly good hits would chain reaction explosive bricks and things would get really loud and wild for a while. It was kind of hard to play has you had to time the rhythm of the swaying tower to get the bungee cords to snap the gnomes into the sides.

Today was a lucky day. I’ve had some pretty good finds at the thrift but recently it’s been really dry. I went in there not expecting to find anything since it was already getting late but once I saw the J Cole and started to go threw the pile I was in shock. Picked all these up for $1.99 each. All in amazing shape! Don’t think I’ll find a lot like this ever again 😅
