The Scotto48 (PCB Edition) is a great beginner-friendly build that uses only through-hole components for easy soldering and a socketed controller for easy replacement. It features an ultra low-profile split 4×12 layout with 24 keys on each half, a powerful RP2040 Pi Pico for QMK / Vial customization, and a unique aesthetic with exposed components that tie everything together. It is also designed for Choc V1 switches with standard 18×17 mm spacing.
