I'm looking for characters that canonically belong together or have a common history. Some having SBA quotes are fine too like Yodarha and Ghandagoza shouting "get off our lawn".

I mean I get its supposed to be hard game. I played the original too, like, all of us here I guess.

But seriously nothing more I wish than being able to use a dumb big fat sword right now. This shit is so stupid, running away in circles to try to group up undead orcs so you can kill them together with the kill undead rune to save mana. But they are so tanky they need two casts.

And I was conservative with mana potions before, and skilled mana, equipped mana gear... And yes in the dungeon are also mana potions. But its just not enough. And all other spells except kill undead barely do any damage. Even Fire Tornado sucks now. Dont get me started on Fire Rain, in the original gothic it cleared rooms, here it doesnt even register as damage.

As mage it is hard in the sleeper temple, because somehow, before you can exit, you are also supposed to defeat

• Lighting Orc Bro who summons two lesser demons on top and needs 5 casts of kill undead to die
• Death Wave Orc Loser, ok he was easy because unlike Lightning Orc he only needs 2 casts which for a boss was ridiculously easy
• Fire Demon, takes no damage from ice arrow so you gotta use the lightning orb
• 3 fucking Demon Lords, still stuck at them currently
• And SOME undead orcs or templar crawlers are mandatory because else they attack you while you do a puzzle

This is just too much without a breather, cant go sleep to recharge mana, cant even go shopping or brewing potions there is no alchemy table anywhere. No we can't just take a two-hander and club the orc zombies to death, we have 20 strength and no weapon training. Its no fun because I am too long in the dungeon. The dungeon to surface chilling ratio is completely off, I already disliked that in the final dungeon of the original honestly but in the remake its somehow way worse, as a mage at least. Yes dear Sleeper, I get it, your game is called Gothic. Tense music all the time, need for torches or light spell, skulls and blood, and out of ressources all the time. But its enough.

Want to get back to a cozy mage chair and drink wine and talk shit about diggers all day. Time to call it a day, gonna reload tomorrow and finish this dumb temple off and get it over with.
