Walmart for an Oil Change?
I go to Walmart for my oil changes and never have issues. I have a 986 Boxster that's due and didn't know if that would be too complex for Walmart mechanics or if I should just find a European auto mechanic nearby instead.

My new job will put my income in the 32% tax bracket. I currently contribute to a Roth IRA but will converting to the backdoor method in order to continue my contributions. I have only done Roth 401K's in the past. Is it wise to diversify and contribute to my new 401K pre-tax instead of Roth while using the backdoor method to max out my Roth IRA?
Finally redeemed my 420k points and Im happy with the outcome.
I was able to redeem 2ppl Qatar Airways Boston to Seychelles round trip for 420k Amex MR + $1,496.43 in fees. 9.41 CPP with everything factored in except the optional seat upgrade fees that I paid.
My BOS to Doha and back will be in the Qsuites Double Suite on their A350-900. Super excited for this royal treatment and bed setup while I gorge myself on food.
The only hangup was getting Seychelles to Doha return as they didn’t offer award availability for the exact time I needed so I ended up booking economy and using my leftover Avios for a seat upgrade to the very front. It’s a 4:30hr flight so Im not going to lose any sleep over it.
Overall how did I do?
Geared towards W2 folk but would love to hear from business owners.
April 2027 - Budget - Trying to stay $15k or under.
Currently booking the Seychelles in April 2027. After thoroughly reading hundreds of reviews, I have narrowed it down between Six Senses Zil Payson and the Waldorf Astoria. Should I stay at just one for a week or more, or split my time between the two? Does anyone have strong opinions on other resorts?
