(Spoilers for the ENTIRE anime)

I have a mutual that’s into Arknights, and Itoki Hana is my favorite singer-songwriter (she gets a credits song) so I decided to watch Arknights.

At first, I wasn’t really interested in any of the characters at all, but that’s normal for the beginning of a story.

I did not feel emotionally attached enough to care whether a character lived or died until Misha came along. “Oh! This character’s actually pretty neat! I wonder what she’s going to do!”

Misha is then promptly killed off.

(Random aside, but the thing about Rhodes Island not killing people broke my immersion for a moment because they did NOT properly establish those weapons were non-lethal in the *slightest* asdgjjk)

I continue on my merry way, just watching characters do things and waiting for someone else to become interesting enough for me to care about because none of the main characters were really doing anything for me.

I can’t remember if Faust or the snow bunnies came next? I think it was Faust.

”Oh wow, Faust’s past with Mephisto is super interesting! I can’t wait to learn more about about Faust and-“

Faust dies.

At this point, I’m starting to sense a pattern.

The characters I neither like nor dislike continue the story until we get a really cute truce with the snow bunnies for a moment and I’m starting to kind of like them-

I think I remember laughing during the sequence where the snow bunnies were all being killed because at this point it was absurd how the show was exclusively getting me attached to characters just for those characters to die.

I was happy the snow bunny leader survived and then she died too!

I ended up finishing the anime with not a single character I gave a hardtack about being left alive.

Overall, I was pretty meh about the anime, but there were some cool fights and the unintentional humor was pretty funny, so I don’t regret watching it.

Whitney… White 2… OHHHH ‘CUZ “NI” IS 2 IN JAPANESE (I’m sure you guys already had this figured out but I only just realized lol)

Anyone else’s heart break into itty bitty pieces after reading how Red gave up his chance to become gym leader because of his wrists then later finding out MATO retired because she was having health problems with her hands? Sob

I like to imagine that after the HGSS arc, Giovanni starts doing some stuff specifically to make Pryce miserable. Killing him would be too merciful. “Wow Lapras shell poaching has gone up a LOT recently, hasn’t it?”

Silver is so stinkin’ cute I want to ruffle his hair and give him cookies and wash and brush and style his hair and-

Give me frames of Scott the Woz that would be fun to draw. I need practice drawing actual human beings but I don’t want the exercise to be boring

This resource pack gives me the experience of finding things and immediately putting them on a campfire with the intent to stick them in my mouth 10/10

I watched the anime without having played the game and it devolved into dark comedy

✨Cool pigeon facts!✨ Since Raidian is likely based off of pigeons, I wanted to share some relevant factoids :3

Why do shire horses have feathering on their legs? Is it to prevent bug bites? I’m assuming it must have a practical purpose because they’re work horses. …Though I can’t imagine anyone being able to resist continuing the lineage of a horse with “boots with THE FUR” lol

How do I responsibly rehome a common goldfish?

Felicia SynthV! Felicia = Strong and beautiful, Horse = Strong and beautiful, Felicia = Horse!!!

Do horses feel unsafe when hugged? Does it feel like something is trying to bite their neck?

Scared of bit rot because it’s been a couple years since I’ve played my games because I haven’t gotten around to replacing my 3Ds’s dead battery

ROSE2 is worse than ROSE1 but ROSE1 is harder to find so I’m dropping the link to ROSE1 here so people can bookmark it for later if they want ROSE.

Why aren’t alligator lizards skinks? And are skinks a true classification or arbitrary like toads?

I covered SHATTER with Rose!

My brand new pet LUNATIC/affectionate won’t stop biting my hand to try to get the scent! Owww!

Working on updating my gem hair shader for blender 5. For the most part, all I have done is ported it. The first image is in the EEVEE renderer and the second is Cycles renderer. Please note Cycles does not support cell shading anywhere near as well as EEVEE.

Just wanted to inform the more contemporary producers that it’s probably a good idea to credit “[Insert VB Here] SynthV” on your works because it lets people see you’re using an ethical voicebank and not a Suno amalgam. Some people feel suspicious when there’s no credited vocalist.

I love skinks so much and it pains me I cannot have one because I am unable to transport an entire glass enclosure from college to home to college over breaks. They make me so happy I wanna cry ｡ﾟ(ﾟ´Д｀ﾟ)ﾟ｡
