Hi! My cat’s vet recommended to get an xray to determine if he has asthma. Google says it should cost around 300$ but my vet quoted me for over 1K. Is this normal? 😭

Edit: My vet requires full sedation (which is included in the bill) but would it be possible to just use anxiety meds instead? I don’t really want him to be sedated unless he absolutely has to.
Btw I live in a suburbs in US.

I’m a senior EE student trying to figure out where I want to work after graduation. I’m not sure how I feel about working in defense, and I know people have some pretty strong opinions on it. I’d love to hear y’all’s perspective.

I had an almost 4 hour bus drive today with Greyhound and as soon as you enter the bus, you can smell a very strong odor of bathroom smell. I have a fair share of bus travel experience but the smell was never this bad. Ofc my seat was all the way in the back and the smell didn’t disappear at all the whole ride😭

Has this ever happened to anyone before and although I can’t physically prove a horrific odor, is it possible to get any kind of compensation?

While working full-time, I completely forgot about my application until today, and I missed the deadline by one day. I was able to submit both of them, but I don't think it will be accepted. I never forgot anything this important before, and I am extremely frustrated with myself.

I prefer to wear moderately conservative and I like to cover up my back as it has a lot of acne but so far every one piece swimsuit I have found has either a giant hole in the back or just high neckline both sides (which is really uncomfortable). I have been looking for a swimsuit for months now, please help.

I’m 5’2” and trying to save money, so I’d appreciate any tips on campus groups, local stores, Facebook groups, or places where people usually pass gowns down. Thanks!
