Argued with my Accounts teacher today over a ridiculously dumb punishment, Was i wrong?

TLDR: Almost the whole class wasn't able to solve an accounts question i wasn't able to too because I missed the explanation while doing school event prep with permission and the teacher then took everyone's books for ALL subjects, while i refused and asked him to show me the rule allowing it Argument escalated and i raised my voice, he eventually returned the books and copies to all student and called my dad, was I wrong for refusing?

So basically our accounts teacher gave us a question on accounting for a share capital that most of the class couldn't solve

I couldn't do it because he had explained it in the previous period while i was working on some school event preparation with permission so i missed the explanation

He then started collecting everyone's books and copies for ALL subjects not just accounts and said he'd keep them until we understood the topic and were able to solve similar questions

I refused to hand my books and copies because i didn't want my other subjects books and copies taken away over an accounts question

I told him there was no written rule saying he could do that and said I'd hand everything over if he showed me the rule

He kept saying i was arguing and asked why i wasn't able to understand when he taught the same topic earlier

I said i was trying but couldn't and asked him to give me some time but he cut me off before i could even finish

I eventually got frustrated and raised my voice and also said

"I was TRYING but your handwriting SUCKS"

Yeah i know that was disrespectful and i shouldn't have said that

During the argument i said that he doesn't have the right to take books and copies for all the other subjects and that this particular way of punishing us was wrong

I told him I'm fine with him scolding me writing a complaint calling my parents or giving me some other punishment but i won't hand over books that i need for my other subjects

He collected almost everyone's books except for two toppers who btw also couldn't solve the question completely right

Then i think he finally realised what he was doing and gave the other students their accounts book and copy back

He stood there silently for a bit and then the dispersal bell rang

Before leaving he said

"Now you'll say to other teachers that i took your copies and books"

The whole class went YESSS

Then he said we should make new copies for every subject

The whole class went NOOOO 😭

Idk maybe he realised how dumb the whole thing was because he eventually returned all the other books and copies too

He also called my dad later and talked to him inside the staff room while i was made to wait outside

After a while he came out and said my dad would come talk to him tomorrow

Honestly i know my dad will understand why i raised my voice because I've literally never raised my voice at a teacher before

And if it was only me who couldn't understand the question then maybe I'd accept that i was the problem

But when almost the entire class couldn't understand it there has to be something wrong with how the topic was being taught too

Is my Accountancy teacher going too fast or am I just slow?

My school has already finished Volume 1 and our teacher is already on company accounts he’s completed Issue of shares at par while I’ve only thoroughly finished the first 3 and half chapters

He literally finished Death by doing ONE question 😭

I genuinely can’t tell if the syllabus is actually moving insanely fast or if I’m just slow as hell and I can’t even say anything because apparently anything a student says is “argument”

Gng should I go to school tomorrow or not? 💔

My parents are out of station and I don't feel like getting up making breakfast and warming up tonight's food for tiffin

Then getting dressed and then driving to school AAHHHHH

I asked my mom if I could skip school and she said NO!!! 💔💔

Yawrrr what do I do

Can't even oversleep because my elder sis is at home and it's her job to wake me up

She could either be really good at waking me up and getting everything done or she could oversleep herself and I want her to oversleep 😭🙏🏻

I took two days off last week and that's the reason my mom said NO

And I'm worried about the 75% attendance requirement too because my school is hella strict about this 😭

Why doesn't CBSE have a minimum gap requirement between school exams?

CBSE schools seriously need to rethink their exam schedules

How is it normal to have 6 exams in a single week with no gap between papers and still expect students to score 95%+

4 chapters per subject which means a Class 12 student is expected to properly revise, practice, and memorise dozens of chapters while writing exams back-to-back

A student gets maybe 10–12 hours between papers, and in that time they're expected to

Revise multiple chapters

Practice questions

Remember all of it

Sleep properly

Perform well the next day

At that point it's not testing understanding anymore It's testing how much information a student can cram overnight

CBSE already controls board exam schedules and provides gaps between major papers so why isn't there a similar guideline for school-level exams? Even a simple rule like a minimum 1-day gap between major subjects would make exams more about learning rather than surviving

Do other CBSE schools also have such insane timetables or is this just my school?

Don't start with "What were you doing before exams??"

Where tf are the good clothes 😭

Is it just me or does shopping in India genuinely suck??

WHY IS EVERY TOP POLYESTER???

I don't wanna feel like I'm wrapped in a plastic bag i just want cotton tops !!

And don't hit me with the "premium collection" because why am i paying ₹500–₹1000 for a top that still feels cheap af and the print on it are horrible too

Don't even get me started on jeans I'm around 5'5"-5'6" and can't find a jeans with long inseam😭

AND WHY IS EVERYTHING HIGH-WAISTED???

I hate high-waist jeans with all my heart they're uncomfortable they dig into my stomach when i sit, and they just don't suit me where are the low-rise or even mid-rise options with a long inseam??

At this point i don't even mind spending more money i just want clothes that are actually GOOD 😭🙏🏻

Please tell me I'm not the only one losing my mind over this

A few days ago i had a dream that i missed my BST exam and today after coming back from school i took a nap and literally dreamt that i failed my applied maths exam, i know they're just dreams but they genuinely made me panic i really hope i don't mess up my exams because of my own anxiety

The more people expect from me the more pressure i feel bhaiii!! When everyone thinks you're going to do well it somehow makes the fear of failing even worse

Does anyone else get exam anxiety like this? How do yall deal with the stress before exams? 💔

Title: Am I making the right choice by doing ACCA + B.Com after 12th? Is there actually good scope?

I'm a class 12 commerce student and I've decided that after boards i want to pursue ACCA along with a B.Com (Hons)

The thing is this wasn't an easy decision almost everyone in my family is either a doctor or an engineer so choosing commerce meant going against what everyone expected from me and sometimes i can't help but wonder if I'm making a mistake

One of my biggest goals is to become financially successful, not just for myself but also to prove that choosing commerce was the right decision for me

I've done some research but online there's so much conflicting information some people say ACCA has great global opportunities while others say there isn't much scope in India unless you get additional qualifications or experience

So I wanted to ask people who have actually been through this:-

-Is ACCA + B.Com a good combination?

- How difficult is it to get your first job?

- Is the demand really as good as people claim?

- If you could start over, would you still choose ACCA?

- What salary can someone realistically expect in India and abroad?

- Is there anything you wish you knew before starting?

- Are there any mistakes I should avoid?

I'm genuinely looking for honest advice good or bad I'd rather know the reality now than regret my decision later

Thanks in advance to anyone willing to share their experience

How do some of y'all act like nothing happened when your period starts??

(i used chat gpt to fix up the grammar)

The girls in my class barely seem to react when they get their period. They just ask me for a pad (I always carry some because I'm an overprepared, anxious bish), go to the restroom, put one on, and come back like nothing even happened.

My period has started in the middle of school twice, and both times it felt like I was dying.

The first time was in Class 8. I took a painkiller, went to the washroom, put on a pad, and started walking back to class. Halfway there, the cramps got so bad I almost fainted. I somehow made it to my bench just in time. Thank God the painkiller kicked in pretty quickly.

The second time, in Class 11, was even worse.

I was already wearing a pad because, well, I'm anxious and overprepared. During recess, I felt the cramps. They were mild, so I went to the washroom to check, and yep—my period had started. By the time I got back to class and the next period began, the cramps had turned absolutely horrific.

I took a painkiller, but the pain just kept getting worse. I was pressing one leg against the other as hard as I could because it somehow made it a tiny bit more bearable. I quickly wrote an application to go home, and thankfully the school supervisor was standing right outside the classroom, so I rushed to her.

I explained what was happening. She said, "I can't let you go home alone, and your mother would be at work. It would probably take her over an hour to get here, so why don't you rest in the sick room?"

She was right. By the time my mom arrived, school would've practically been over anyway.

At that point, I was barely holding back tears and trying to stay on my feet. I just nodded and went back to class. I sat down, drank some water, put my head on the desk, gripped the side of my bench as hard as I could, and pressed my legs together because the pain was unbearable.

Then I started crying.

A few moments later, the supervisor came back to check whether I'd gone to the sick room. She saw me, called my name once... then again... then a few more times. I couldn't answer. I genuinely couldn't.

Finally, she told the girl sitting in the front row, "Jao, usko sick room leke jao."

The girl came over, called my name, and I still couldn't respond. I literally just held up my hand like, "✋🏻"... that's all I could manage. 😭💔

The supervisor looked at me and finally said, "Okay, let her stay there for a bit."

Then my friend, who sat on the bench next to mine, noticed.

She was like, "Oh... tu ro rahi hai? Hein?"

The girls sitting in front of me turned around and went, "My name ro rahi hai??"

...Of course I'm crying.

But my friend was so sweet. She came and sat beside me and just gently rubbed my back.

Oh my God.

That somehow made me cry even harder.

By the end of the school day, the painkiller had finally kicked in, and I was okay again.

After that, my friend and I went looking for the school nani to get some warm water... but of course, she was nowhere to be found when we actually needed her.

Yeah... that's how I ended up crying for over an hour in a classroom full of 40+ students.

It's this bad every single time I get my period.

But when it starts at school, it's even worse.

And the cramps have been this bad every single month for more than four years now.

Is it normal?? Should i visit a gyno??
