Hey all. After fishing from a sit in paddle kayak I think a pedal kayak would suite my needs more. I don’t want to get into a kayak that will take a ton of work and or leave me wishing I had gotten a different one. I see they make prop pedal and paddle type pedal kayaks. Which is more preferred. I fish some areas that are shallow and weedy and others that are fairly deep with pockets around the edges with overhanging branches so the sit in really makes me work in these areas as I drift.

Hey all. My wife and I just got into kayaking and currently have sun dolphin sit ins. We would like to purchase some sit on tops. She occasionally will fish but enjoys paddling around and reading when not fishing. Looking to spend under $600 on a recreational kayak. Freshwater lakes are mostly what we visit.

Looking to get a fishing kayak that I can freshwater lake fish from. I usually carry 1-2 rods and a few tackle trays. Unsure what to look for as far as features and overall build quality.
