I have a ride1up Prodigy v2 XR. Yesterday after riding like 14 miles i was literally 3 blocks from my house and had to go up a hill. I shifted to my lowest gear and wasn't getting full power to the motor. There was some pedal assist but it was like maybe 15% pedal assist. Last night I turned the bike on and spun the cranks and the Shift sensor was blinking red the entire time. I shifted gears, it would blink green and then go back to blinking red. I am guessing the shift sensor is shot and i need to request a new one. Later today i plan to just disconnect the shift sensor which should make the motor act normally. I might just leave the shift sensor disconnected permanently and if i do does anyone know what i can use to cap off the connectors?

I've owned this bike for about 2 months now and never had issues but today going from a downhill ride without pedaling at all to a up-hill ride changing gears to my lowest gear the motor was dragging a ton to the point where it almost felt like i wasn't using the motor (fyi it was on boost mode). This was after a 14 mile ride and it was showing range left at 7 miles. Again, I've had this e-bike for about 2 months now with absolutely no issue until now. I let the bike sit for about 3hrs then tried it again going up the same hill and again it's dragging making it feel like the brose motor is only giving 50% power. Can anyone help me figure out what is going on?

I’m fairly new to The Rookie and currently on Season 8 Episode 1, and I’m genuinely confused about a specific writing choice. I’m hoping someone can clarify if there’s an in‑universe explanation that I’m missing.

Bailey is a firefighter/paramedic with the LAFD, so her presence in Prague — especially participating in law‑enforcement‑related activities — feels extremely unrealistic to me. I’m not criticizing the character herself, but the writing decision to place a municipal firefighter in an international fugitive operation seems odd.

From a procedural standpoint, firefighters don’t carry firearms, don’t get deputized for overseas missions, and don’t accompany law enforcement teams on tactical arrests. So I’m trying to understand whether the show ever explains how or why she’s involved in these situations, or if this is simply a creative choice to keep her connected to Nolan’s storyline.

I’m not trying to “hate” on any character — I just want to understand the logic behind this writing direction. If there’s context I missed, I’d appreciate someone pointing me toward it.

Later this week i have to take my S25U into uBreakIfixit for a Samsung warranty repair. The person at the repair shop said it would take about 4hrs for the repair (it's a lower priority since it's a Samsung Warranty repair) which means I'll be without a phone for 4hrs. i do have a backup phone (Pixel 8) which i have never actually used as a daily driver since i haven't had to use a backup since getting my S25U in Jan 2025. My S25U uses an esim, so how easy is it to transfer over the esim to my Pixel 8? And then to transfer the esim back to my S25U once i get my repaired phone back from the repair shop?

When I change the zoom my camera is making this VERY rapid clicking like machine-gun noise. This started a few weeks ago. I haven't dropped my phone, it's in a DBrand Ghost 2.0 magsafe case. If the camera is dying then what should i do? I got this phone through AT&T and I'm still paying it off and didn't buy insurance since I've never needed it before. Can I still send it into Samsung for a Warranty replacement/repair even if I got it through AT&T?

(UPDATE) I contacted Samsung USA technical support last night at like 1AM and described the issue. I told them my phone was 5 months past warranty but made sure to mention atleast 5 times that this seems to be a widespread camera malfunction with the S25U. I sent a screen-recording via chat to the Samsung rep of the what was happening with the camera and after a bunch of bs software based troubleshooting they said i would need to submit a repair ticket. I told them I know for a fact my city has multiple uBreakiFixtIt locations which are certified Samsung repair centers. The rep referred me to two close locations, I picked a location and they set up an appointment to be seen today. I asked the rep if Samsung was covering this repair or if I was going to have to pay out of pocket. The rep said to call the repair center in the morning and discuss it with them. Thinking the worse I just said screw it and went to the repair center (I just got back) they said Samsung is covering the entire cost of the repair but I would have to wait a few days (1 -2 days) and bring the phone back because they had to order the camera module. So long story short thankfully I am not going to have to pay out of pocket for this repair.

Is there anything in the policies and procedures that says i can't bring a JBL speaker with me and jam out to music while cart attending? I'm not wearing earbuds so i can hear the radio, so you think i can get away with it. I'm honestly at the point of going out with a bang and i might as well have fun while doing it.

So I have owned regular bikes all my life and to clean and relube my chain i usually just do it while the chain is on my bike by spraying the chain with a degreaser and backpedaling to wipe it down, then applying drip lube by backpedaling to distribute the lube evenly to the chain rollers. BUT on my e-bike with it's Brose mid-drive when you backpedal it doesn't engage the chainring, hence it doesn't spin the chain when backpedaling. This is a pain in the butt that I'm assuming anytime i want to clean and lube the chain I'll have to take the chain off the bike, and how the hell do i get the lube to penetrate the chain rollers if I can't backpedal the bike.

A few weeks ago i saw a ghost bike u-locked to the KK "can-opener" bridge. For anyone wondering, in the cycling community a ghost bike aka a bike painted completely in white to memorialize a cyclist who died at that location. It was locked about 8ft up one of the pillars on the bridge where hopefully no-one could mess with it. I can't find any info or news articles on who that is memorialized for. Can anyone help me?

About 6 weeks ago i purchased a Ride1Up Prodigy V2 XR. TBH this was an impulse buy. So I bought the bike and immediately knew the frame was going to feel small since I'm 6'2. i was 100% correct. I purchased a longer stem (100mm Cane Creek) I also decided to install my 120mm of travel Rockshox Recon RL air fork. Personally i hate that ride1up doesn't use a standard stem, they use a L shaped stem with integrated stem spacers so there is no option to make the stem higher or lower using the stock stem. Second the stupid head light that is integrated into the stems handlebar clamp, since i went with a longer stem i had to actually cut the wires then electrical tape them and slip them into the frame. So there's no option to use the OEM headlight with an after market stem. Third, and this was 100% my fault. Within the first hour of having the bike i broke the battery door. I thought the battery lock keys unlocked the door so I unlocked the battery, it dropped onto the door which broke the battery door latch. I now have it metal zip-tied closed because the battery door is out of stock and after contacting Ride1Up they said I would have to buy a replacement, they wouldn't replace it for free even though the bike was only 2 days old. But since it's out of stock and on back order who knows how long it will be until i can buy a replacement. The seatpost was too short for me so i replaced it with a 400mm long seatpost. The bike claims to weigh 68lbs but feels more like 75 - 80lbs. I wanted to purchase two extra derailleur hangers but there is no actual listing in the parts section stating which derailleur hanger is used for the Prodigy V2. i contacted Ride1Ups customer service and they got back to me within minutes and told me what one i needed but it still appears like they are using a proprietary hanger so I'll end up paying $30 for a part that on any other bike I could for like $1.00 on aliexpress. Now onto the rear cargo rack...I don't need it but I can't really remove it because the rear fender is bolted to the rack and the rear light is incorporated into the rack. Regarding the Brose mid-drive motor. I'm impressed but at the same time it's pissing me off. The motor is very powerful but when i hit a medium sized bump the motor disengages. People here on reddit suggested maybe when i hit a bump the cheap as dirt Microshift Advent derailleur (which doesn't have a clutch) is bouncing causing the shift sensor to think I'm shifting which causes the motor to disengage, but i really don't know. I purchased a Shimano Cues groupset and I'm really considering installing it now since the derailluer actually has a clutch. I was going to stick with the Advent groupset but if it's lack of clutch is causing this issue then I'm going to get rid of it.

So yeah that is my thoughts on the Prodigy V2 XR.

I purchased a Ride1Up Prodigy V2 about two months ago. It has been absolutely awesome except for the fact that when I go over a big bump or even a medium sized bump the motor will cut off for a second causing my to loose my cadence and momentum. I already adjusted the magnet speed sensor on the rear wheel spoke (and in the process stripped it out, thankfully Ride1Up sent me a new one) so it's not the speed sensor magnet being to far from the sensor mounted on the chainstay. Does anyone know what might be going on? Also it's not the battery momentarily loosing connection because my screen stays on the whole time. The speed sensor on the chainstay is bolted to the chainstay so it's no moving around afaik.

I just purchased this vcr from Goodwill earlier today (I found some old vhs tapes I had in storage). I was just wondering what these clips or whatever they are are? Also as bonus a VHS tape of Napolean Dynamite was in the VCR (one of my favorite films) when i got it home lol, so SCORE.

Is there a way to get my Samsung Watch Ultra to auto-record my biking routes? There are times where I don't bring my phone with me when biking so is it possible to get my watch ultra to auto-record my route? I do have a LTE connection on my watch ultra. It 100% detects that i am riding my bike but doesn't seem to record my actual route. Also when i do bring my S25U on a bike ride how do i get the Samsung Health app on my Phone to record my route. I'm asking becuase there have been times where I go on a bike ride with no destination or route in mind, kind of just going with the flow and there might be times in the future where I want to take that same route but don't remember what the route actually was.

I've watched a ton of bodycam videos on YT and I see a ton of videos of traffic stops where the person says, "I didn't see you. If I had seen you i wouldn't have done it" basically implying they have no problem with breaking the law as long as they aren't being watched. To me this statement just sound ridiculous. Do you LEOs also feel that way? And have you ever came back with the reply of telling the person just how stupid that statement sounds?

I work at Target (in Wisconsin) and someone just discarded a bunch of Prizm cards in a cart out in the parking lot (most likely a reseller). Yeah the card probably isn't worth anything but he's one of my favorite players so it's a absolute win for me.

just wanted to say I'm really glad Aaron Rodgers is playing another season. I am really hoping the best for him and looking forward to what him and Mike McCarthy can do, I'm looking forward to a Packers Steelers matchup in the play-offs/Superbowl, that would be epic.

Bought these for winter (400grams of thinsulate and gore-tex waterproof) but figured I take them out for a test run doing some yard work in 75F weather and actually pretty comfy. I'm surprised by how light they are compared to my RW IR's and I love the lace to toe it makes it some much easier to get the perfect fit. The only thing I don't like is the lined, insulated gusseted tongue. I have to orientate it in a weird way that doesn't seem natural but when I do have it how i would like it the gusset on the inside of my ankle diggs into my ankle bone very painfully.

I saw an ebay post selling the display of the "shall not be mentioned Target x anime cartoon collab" display which for some reason is not allowed to be mentioned in this subreddit. I confronted the seller and she came back with these responses. I'm guessing she will see this since I'm assuming she is a current TM and she will probably try to dox me after seeing I posted her comments to me on ebay.

I know most people are going to see this and think I'm an idiot but the listing was obviously a display that was never intended for sale and she got personal so I'm getting personal.

I ordered these sneakers last night and got a order confirmation a few minutes later and on my account page it says the order is confirmed yet today i got this email basically saying I only placed a bid and didn't actually place an order even though according to the earlier email and my orders page I did place the order. What is going on?

I got an injury to my knee which didn't happen at work. I went to urgent care today and was prescribed meds and sheduled for a follow-up and the doctor, without me asking, provided a doctors note recommending I return to work in three days. I have no sick time to cover the 3 days off. Is the doctors note enough to cover me so i don't get disciplined for missing work for three days straight. I plan on calling work tomorrow and speaking to hr to explain what is going on. To be clear, i am not trying to just get off work, my knee is messed up and it needs rest which isn't going to happen with me being a cart attendant and stressing my knee 8hrs a day. My issue, again, is i don't have sick time to cover those three days so will the doctors note be enough? Fyi i have had it in the past where I called in due to a medical issue and my TL just removed me from the schedule for the day so hence no disciplinary action since I'm no longer scheduled for that day.
