I was setting up viva new vegas on my machine since the game runs notoriously awful and it really helps with stability when I realized.

Setting up new vegas is basically just as difficult as setting up daggerfall was when new vegas was new.

I remember trying to get daggerfall running through dosbox on my craptop in 2013 and all the hoops I had to jump through. Now new vegas is nearly as old as daggerfall was then.

Hello all. I am not a medically diagnosed intersex person, im suspicious that I could be due to how my puberty went but its expensive to test so im holding off for nowm

So im not doing this, its just a thought I have had.

My family and friends treat me as male. I know they just think im choosing to be trans. Im not, but its not seen as a biological necessity to them as it feels to me.

Apart of me thinks if I told them im intersection they'd be more supportive and understanding since its biological in nature now.

Probably not.

Ive been out and on hrt for 4 yesrs I pass, the public treats me as female. I honestly dont know how to ask them to just gender me correctly and allow me to ve myself around them. Im not going to do this, it likely wouldn't work but like. Fuck.

Hellloooooo

I write this parked in after call as im just so drained from this job. Im so tired of the constant calls back to back all day. Its not always like this, sometimes we have really good downtime. Some weeks its so slow I get maybe 10-20 calls a day max. Other times we get back to back calls for months on end with maybe a small break here and there between the flood.

Its maddening because I dont mind my coworkers, or leadership. Yes there are stupid metrics but their not breathing down my neck about it. The biggest gripe I have is ticketing every call I get when only about 1/3rd actually involve me doing something worth note. Our ticketing system is so broken you cant even effectively search it to research issues. Its purely metrics. Thats whatever its not my real issue.

The real issue is the actual callers. Its the general public trying to access our website, many of which are old or think their geniuses. It fucking sucks. Ive lost my patience at this job and it doesnt take much for me to drop my polite tone and be short with someone who is short with me. I never get pulled into meetings over it so whatever. Im just tired. I dread every time the phone rings. I would rather do anything else. Its so grating. So annoying. It just sucks.

The pay is good, I have bills that need to be addressed and a child to take care of, but god I commute an hour to work do this for 8 hours and a hour back by the time im home im so drained. If not for the 2 wfh days a week im certain I would have quit by now. Anyways /rant. I plan kn staying a lil longer until I get my 5 days of pto from the contractor again taking it all and finding a new job that is far from answering phones. Id even take a pay cut at this point.

Hello,

I have had a memory since I was young. Honestly im not even sure how it originally came to me but I remembered how I died in my past life.

I remember being underwater, under the ice. Sinking ans looking up losing the will and ability to fight back and slowly sinking. Thats it. I get the impression I was an old bearded man for some reason, but thats all I remember. I asked myself many times if this was a dream or something else but it feels too real for that. It just feels so matter of fact.

Anyways, similar experiences? Advice? Think it might just be bullshit from a young mind? Im in my late 20s now and remember just as I do then. I swear I can see it in my mind. This isnt part of the memory but I feel like i know what its like to breathe water in. Its hard to explain.

Hello!

I am in the planning phase of converting a 16.5x37.5 (615ish square feet.) building on my parents land into a tiny home. The place is for me and my son, I need 2 bedrooms, a living room, a bathroom(with tub) and a kitchen. I also plan on fitting a stackable washer/dryer in either the bathroom or kitchen. Are there any available floor plans online in similar dimensions? Currently the most space friendly plan we've come up with basically splits the place in half long ways and puts the bedrooms and baths on that side and the living room/kitchen on the other half but im honestly not crazy about the design. Any and all advice is appreciated :)

Car: 2012 Ford focus SE manual

My ac compressor went out the other day, belt was cut and my mechanic told me a replacement compressor for our local parts store is going to be 300 + labor. I looked into getting an oem compressor from Ford and its 800 bucks. I plan on being in this car for several more years and would prefer not to do this twice. Has anyone replaced their ac compressor with an aftermarket one and had success? If you have had this done or done it please share your experience.

The brand is four seasons for the replacement compressor

Hello!

I have recently had to move back in with my parents after having a break up with my ex, we do have a child and I keep my child near full time.(every couple weeks she gets him a day or two) my kiddo is 2 and very very sweet.

So here's where things get messy(er)

I am transgender, I have been out and on HRT for years and not that it necessarily matters but i do pass(it makes life much easier in the south). My parents absolutely do not approve of me being trans, they deadname me and call me he and have on multiple occasions tried to tell me i am wrong for being me. Its mostly my mom, my dad is actually chill outside of the dead naming and misgendering.

I live with them because I have nowhere else to go and they dont wanna see us on the street. I appreciate them helping, and i can look past the misgendering and deadnaming but what genuinely fucks me up is they are making my kid do it to. He used to call me mommy and now they have him calling me my dead name. It fucking sucks, its weird, and it makes me hate them and myself.

My parents are also heavy drinkers. 3-4 nights a week minimum they will drink heavily, sometimes this results in my mom drunk crying to me(an issue my entire life i still hate to experience in adulthood).

So, I desperately want to move out. I am however dealing with several massive debts. 3k for a car I had to buy since my old one finally gave out. 5k to the IRS because my job didnt deduct taxes properly. Another 1200 to family I borrowed money from in an emergency.

I did the math, if I pay off all of these debts and save up 5k to move out it will take roughly 9 1/2 months. Ive knly been here for 2 and another 9 months of this seems like absolute torture. I cant sit my parents down and talk to them because they have no interest in entertaining my issues when it comes to the disrespect over me being trans. I dont want them confusing my child. I want them to have a relationship with him but if they cant respect me they wont have one after I leave.

Tl;dr

Had to move in with transphobic parents who over drink that teach my 2 year old kid to misgender me. Should I stay long enough to clear out my debt in 9 months or leave to avoid the mental strain of living with people who dont like you for almost an entire year but have a very stable financial footing.

Hello all.

Im a trans woman 27 year old. I have been seeing another Trans woman lately, we've been on 2 dates and I stayed the night the other night(no sex). I really do like her and shes very sweet and pretty and treats me very respectfully. I always have a good time when we go out or texting her and i do have a kind of crush. But, I dont know. I just cant shake the feeling we would make better friends than lovers. Im 3 months out of a long term relationship, and I have a kid. She doesnt have either of those things going on. She is hoping for something long term and while I hope for that too im taking things so day by day. I also am not really ready for sex, which she hasnt pushed me about at all in any way but im just not ready. It feels weird and scary since my ex used to force me into sex all the time.

Anyways. Im debating telling her maybe we should just be friends, i dont wanna lead her on. But I am still interested in her, it just feels like maybe im not ready and its unfair to string someone along just because im not sure. Anyways thoughts are appreciated.

I spotted this abandoned home with tons of potential a while ago, honestly im a bit obsessed with the place as it could be a great thing for me. Anyways; after doing some digging ive found its been left for years to rot by a holdings group with a focus on manufacturing NOT really estate. So what are they doing with this property??? When im ready to start i plan on sending them a letter in the mail about purchasing it from them but I have no idea if they'll respond or why they own the property especially considering it seems their based out of the Phillipines with an office in my state.

Any thoughts? Its such an odd situation. I am a individual buyer btw not a real estate agent.

Edit:

IT GOT EVEN WEIRDER.

The tax address i got from the pva for their company is... a random barn? There's a house nearby but its not a business at all.

Background:

I am 27 years old, I just moved back into my parents place for the first time in 9 years a couple months back and its very hard to adjust. I lost my old place due to a breakup and running out of money from being nickel and dimed to death by my ex and my vehicle falling to pieces. I work full time making 25$ an hour and have to pay a sitter throughout the week roughly 150$ per week. Im also in about 7500$ worth of debt.

I have a 2 year old, and my ex does not keep him which is for the best. Hes a really sweet kid and keeps me going and pushing every single day. Sometimes providing him a good life is my only motivation to push forward with this job and school.

I am lucky enough that my parents loaned me(I pay them 100-200 a week) 3k to buy a car since my old one completely became unusable. They also ussually feed me and my kid which is nice but I definitely feel the kid/parent relationship returning which absolutely sucks.

My issue:

So the issue im having is that I am absolutely just so... Grey. I feel kind of dead inside having to live home again. I dont really get along with my parents and they dont really get along with me. My dad is okay most of the time but my mom in particular likes to make tons of little jabs at me and insult me and giving me absolutely no breaks unless I am absolutely at the end of my rope. I pay all of my bills and contribute to groceries my kid ans i consume. I clean up around the house when I can and ALWAYS clean up agter my kid.

I am jusy so burnt out. I miss living on my own. I miss not having an hour drive to work. I miss not feeling old and like a kid at the same time. I am slowly bringing my debt down byt its difficult since there's just alot of pressing debts, i wish my parents would let me pay the car off after I addressed my larger debts that are getting interest. My dad honestly seemed open to the idea but mom wants weekly payments.

I did the math, and at optimal saving/spending i can have my car paid off and repaired(minor repairs for longevity but they can be price) my debt down to 0 and an emergency fund established as well as my initial move in costs for an apartment covered agter 11 months. While this is what I should do and need to do for me and my kiddo the idea of spending another year living with them sounds so painful. I hate it. I really would rather not. Hell, somwtimes I think about just speedrunning my debts to everyone and getting a crappy studio or 1 bedroom for me and my kid to share and establish a better nest egg there. I think maybe I need to find a way to be happy where im at and to let things play out but god it sucks.

Hello, some context for all of this. I am a trans woman, I only mention as its extremely relevant to the dream.

I am living with my parents right now, my dad is actually pretty supportive but my mom however is very unsupportive. Last night before bed she got drunk and made several jabs at me for being transgender and when I started to just stop talking to her she made fun of me for going quiet and said "oh your jusg gonna go to your room now because things got real" so I did exactly that and put my kid to bed because it was getting to be bedtime anyways.

Her comments did hurt, not because their transphobic as generally I let that stuff roll off my back but because my mother is hurting me what I felt is very directly. I had a small cry about it to myself and talked to a friend and went to bed.

Now the dream:

I had a nightmare I was like this hacker nerd guy(I dream I am people other than myself often, its like a movie or a game) and I went to jail for a short sentence for hacking some government dudes laptop because i wanted to see if I could. I was taken to a men's prison for this and other friends of mine where in jail for who knoes what but they taught me how to get along in prison. Reallh it felt like a concrete adult version of campm. However the jail dream turned into a nightmare bc there was this trans person in jail that didn't pass at all and was very tall and scary and aggressive. At first they weren't so bad but as the dream went on they turned into a demon and it was scary as fuck to be around them as their eyes where dark and they seemed like a corpse. At some point they wanted sexual reassignment surgery and like I was gonna set them up for like underground srs but then they where a demon scary thing and they just ljke ripped their dick off. It was help on with a block of wood and a nail. They layed on an operating table and was telling me they wanted sex and are a lesbian and im like oh gosh I would but i have someone on the outside I am seeing then my friend fucking hits them in the head with a hammer twice and they get really scary and like chase us and we are trying to quickly escape the prison before they catch up. Well my friend gets caught and torn to shreds and I had gone back to help but ran out of time because of that and right before I died it went into like a third person video game perspective like hot line Miami as they killed the character I was playing and I woke up very scared.

I feel like this is definitely tied to how I was spoke to and how I view myself and other trans women as I am very judgemental toward myself and others. If someone doesnt pass and are low effort they can disgust me. I fear being like them so much. I feel like this may be the shadow reaching out but honestly I don't know and it still freaks me out to think about the dream.

Hello all,

So about 2 months back I split off with my ex and live with my parents for the next few months until im back on my feet. I keep my kid 90% of the time.

So my issue is that I work an hour away and his sitter which I love for him also lives where I work. I will be relocating back to the same city after a few months but for now he naps on the way there ans back. The issue is, we dont get home until about 6 most of the time and thats far too late for him to be napping in. Hes staying up until 10pm or later most nights no matter how early I try to lay down with him in bed.

Any suggestions?

So im having an odd thing. I was with an abusive person for years and naturally I kinda fell into a depression. Everything was gray and 1 layer deep to me. I felt far away from my emotions and the world as a whole 95% of the time.

Since we broke up, the gray has been receding and life is getting its color back. Its so... sad. I listen to music ive heard a thousand times before and I feel every layer of it, I feel the emotions of the band. I hear sounds I never picked up on. I notice how the person making are must've felt in each stroke. I hear and see so many layers to even the dumbest of shows. Even the rain falling on a gray day feels more alive than ever.

It makes me so sad and I dont know why. It hurts to feel it all. It makes me remember before I met them. It makes me remember the life I can no longer have, friends and people who have all gone their own way in life. It just. It just hurts so much to see the beauty and to think that way. I dont know. I just am feeling things I havent felt in so long.

Rate my basic setup

Hello! I havent really taken my skin care seriously until semi recently. Im 27, frequently take hot baths and showers(i know I shouldn't but I love them).

I have recently started the following routine.

1. Shower normally, shampoo hair, conditioner and leave conditioner in until last step

2. Wash my body with moisturizing bar soap(dove) using a non organic loofah(bacteria is awful in bio ones I hear)

3. Using a shea sugar body scrub(not positive of brand just picked it up today, before I was using a sampler) on my face and whole body (my skin feels completely stripped after this in a good way)

4. Rinse hair and entire body thoroughly

5. After drying with a clean towel I moisturize my entire body using hemp lotion w aloe Vera

I dont have any real skin issues but I am starting to get some wrinkles here and there and would like my stretchmarks/scars to fade a bit. Any thoughts or recommendations? I typically follow the same routine shaving i just shave in the bath and do it between step 2 and 3.

Dear fucker,

You are the reason god doesnt talk to us anymore. People like you are why I lock my doors. You are no good scum who cannot be trusted to be a decent person, you need constant threat to force you to do the right thing because you're heart is black and your soul is missing.

I met you in elektro, you announced yourself and where fresh enough. Id gotten the good gear from the city, you asked for 9m I told you I had none.

I gave you some food, some medicine, basic spare supplies I could part with before my northern journey. I had 9m, buti didnt trust you so I said I did not.

And then, like two ships passing in the night we accidentally met again. A little further north, couple towns up. I shot the shit with you, was considering taking you on as a travel buddy. I dropped half my stack of 9m for you. The second you got the chance you unconned me, I woke up and you finished me off.

You are a fucker, I will find you again. Not today, not tomorrow, but I know we'll meet again. Fucker.
