I went to the doors of a store and two African American women with scant clothing were blocking the entrance of the store screaming in fake fear. I was calm and tried to force the door open they kept screaming. I pulled harder and she and her friend finally got off the door. What the heck? This screams planned for attention or robbery.

I left my last cleared role in October 2025 and am applying for cleared jobs again.

My T5 closed in October 2021, I was enrolled in CE in November 2021, and my final TS was granted around that time. I understand the older guidance often used the investigation-close or CE date for the five-year timeline, but I have seen newer references to a PVQ date in DISS.

I do not have access to DISS myself and am trying to understand how to answer recruiters accurately.

For someone in this situation, does being due for a five-year SF-86/PVQ update mean the TS eligibility is no longer current, or can a new employer still verify and pick up the eligibility while the update is handled?

Also, when an application asks whether I have a “current” or “active” TS clearance, is the accurate answer yes if I have no known suspension/revocation but am not presently working in a cleared role?

So I have an LG washer that keeps rewashing the clothes before spinning because I'm guessing it's the unbalance load. It gets unbalanced after washing but it's ridiculous how sensitive these machines are. My old machine came with the house and would never have these issues. Even my Samsung did not have these issues but because my dryer broke that came with the house. I bought an set by LG and it keeps rewashing and stopping right before spinning and then rewashing for full 28 minutes again and I have to keep babysitting it to make sure that I'm not wasting water and it's not rewashing every 10 minutes before spinning. How come this has not recalled or been addressed by LG? I keep looking online but I don't see any thing about it. Has anyone else had this issue? What happened?

So I made some returns a few weeks ago and this is not the first time I ordered online. I have been at Walmart Plus customer for about a year now but I did make more orders last summer and I ordered a lot and I remember that I was not credited back for some of the items in my order even though they were scanned in when I brought them in, but I received a receipt that said 0.00 and when I asked for another receipt they said that's the only receipt they had for me. Now again when I returned some items I noticed that I haven't been getting back when I returned but last year it was through PayPal and PayPal. It seems had issues processing returns but this year I've noticed that one of the items or no actually two of the items they were not issued refunds and I had to go back to the store when I noticed one of the items wasn't refunded and talked to security. But now I noticed that there's one item that was not refunded and that I am sure I had returned to the store. So I don't know what to do. This happens a lot on Walmart and it only happens on Walmart. This has never happened at Target or other places and I try to open a case with Walmart for a return too before I think it was over a month ago and they said they're their return team would contact me and they did but through email not through phone call only to say that they weren't going to process the return because it was flagged as a fraud. I did the same thing with the item that I went to the security with but instead of waiting around for someone to email me back from return fraud I went directly to security at the store so I don't know what to do now with this item that I know for sure that I returned.

I live in Virginia in a 1960s split-level house with a crawl space. I have seen springtails before, but over the past month they have gotten a lot worse. It has also been very humid and raining the past few days, so I am wondering if that is part of it.

I am seeing the most on my kitchen counter. I have found a lot of dead ones there too, but I am still seeing a few live ones crawling around the counter. Today I have also been seeing them around the kitchen windows. I keep seeing them on the kitchen ceiling and on the ceiling in the upstairs bathroom hallway too. So my mom has a complicated kidney stone that's oddly shaped and told by one urologist difficult to remove and that he'd rather remove the whole kidney instead because it's low function from a prior test when my mom was with Kaiser. She currently has original Medicare. So she was sent in for a current kidney function nuclear exam today which she has original Medicare for now. And again I was not able to get a pre-authorization. I was just told by the hospital that it would likely be covered. When I call the the urologist office they also tell me that they don't know until after the consultation and a bill if it will be covered or not. So I am scheduling these consultations with a second or third opinion because they schedule so far out months in advance. For example, I have a third urologist opinion consultation for tomorrow but this is with the doctor's nurse practitioner because he would not be available until fall. So anything that gets relayed by the nurse practitioner to the doctor will count. So again I was told by that office that they don't know if it will be covered or not until after the appointment. And Medicare says that yes they cover second and third opinions as long as it differs from the prior opinion. So what happens in this case? What should I do? Do I keep the consult? Will Medicare likely cover it? I guess I'm just trying to preserve my mom's kidney because even if it is slow function it is still contributing to her egfr to prevent kidney disease. My mom has original Medicare and AARP United healthcare supplemental plan.

Years ago, her urologist discussed the risks of surgery and she ultimately did not have the stone removed. Over time, the affected kidney lost function and a previous nuclear renal scan showed approximately 12% function in that kidney.

Since switching to Original Medicare, we have sought multiple opinions in Northern Virginia.

One urologist said that if the kidney function is below 15%, he would generally recommend kidney removal rather than stone removal.

Another urologist was interested in preserving the kidney and referred us to a colleague for further evaluation.

The colleague explained that the stone has a complex shape and location, making removal technically difficult. He discussed risks such as bleeding and the possibility of not being able to completely remove the stone, and felt that removing the kidney might be the easier option.

My mother would like to preserve the kidney if there is a reasonable chance of doing so safely. She has another nuclear renal scan scheduled to reassess the kidney's current function.

My questions are:

I bought it from a dealership from a Subaru dealership and it's my first car. Right now it's around 17,000, mi approximately and I bought it at 11,000, mi. I'm planning to take it to a Shell gas station mechanic that usually does the inspections and emissions and he seems pretty knowledgeable too. But I've seen online here people say that I should take it to a Subaru mechanic. But I know that dealership mechanics are expensive. So I rather not and I don't even have the warranty. I didn't buy the warranty that comes with the car. I mean the extended warranty. I don't have that. The car right now does not drive like new anymore. Existe una propiedad comercial familiar donde ciertas hermanas han vivido, administrado el inmueble y pagado impuestos durante muchos años. Algunos familiares viven actualmente en Estados Unidos/Virginia y otros en Bolivia.

El problema es que ahora un hermano que nunca vivió en esta propiedad, nunca la administró y aparentemente nunca figuró en el título, quiere reclamar derechos hereditarios y está sugiriendo llegar a un acuerdo económico para evitar procesos judiciales.

Importante también: este hermano ha vivido en Estados Unidos durante décadas y, hasta donde sabemos, nunca participó en el mantenimiento, administración ni pago de impuestos de esta propiedad en Bolivia durante todo ese tiempo.
