I’m seeing 5sos again on Sunday, it’ll make my 73rd concert, and it will by far be the hottest show i have ever been to! So i just want to give you guys some tips that have saved me when waiting in line in this heat! I also have POTS so if there’s any 5sos fans here with POTS this is my routine too!

- Start prepping your body with electrolytes at least 24 hours before, but 48-72 is ideal! Liquid IV, Gatorade, Body Armor, Powerade

- Instant ice packs!!! They work similar to hot hands and you don’t need to keep them cold

- Water. Water. Water. Water. I usually try to average two bottles an hour if possible.

- Snacks. Granola bar, trail mix, pretzels, crackers. Slim Hims are good too! Please don’t try to go all day sitting in this heat without eating!

- Portable fan and umbrella! An umbrella takes so much of the sun off of you and a portable fan is pretty self explanatory lol. Total game changer.

-Claw Clips. Gets your hair off of your neck without completely messing up how you’ve styled your hair.

-Deodorant. PLEASE. PLEASE. PLEASE. i’m literally begging some of y’all 😭

-If you start getting dizzy or woozy, please sit down or leave the pit. In this heat and in a pit, it’s not going to pass. Don’t risk passing out.

my friend (24f), is having tshirts made for an event coming up.

the person making the shirts makes them out of their house and has like a porch pick up system. she puts the orders in bags labeled with the buyers name and puts them in a bin in her front porch. orders that have ten items per pack are in red bags, orders with less are in yellow bags, and they are in separate bins, which are stacked ontop of eachother. to get to the bottom bin you have to pick up the top one and move it. (keep in mind these are good sized storage totes. the ones that are black with yellow lids, and they’re filled with orders).

i (24F), live about 35 minutes away from this person. my friend lives over an hour away. i told her that i didn’t mind picking them up for her since im closer and i would bring them to her the day of the event, and she offered me gas money for doing so.

i went and picked up the shirts. i have never done a porch pickup system and i had no idea how it worked or many packages i’m picking up. i wasn’t told (granted, yes i should have asked, that’s on me.), but in the box there were three large red bags with her name on them. i looked through the rest and saw no more with her name and grabbed the three. i texted her that i got them and drove back home. like two hours later we were on FaceTime going through her shirts when she said she’s missing several. apparently, there was another bag that had 8 in the order, which would have meant it was in the bottom bin. she then proceeded to get upset at me, immediately cursing me out, calling me a dumbass, etc, that i left the other bag and said she’s no longer giving me gas money for pick them up, and is expecting me to go again and pick up the other bag. we had an exchange of words, and i told her if she was going to speak to me that way that i’m not attending the event anymore and if she wants the shirts she can come to my house and get them.

let me add, if she was kind about it, i no problem would have went back and picked up what i left. but she was rude and hostile right off the bat.

now she’s saying that im wrong because i refuse to bring them and she has to drive all the way to my house to get them. personally, i think her reaction was extremely immature. but i can also see where’d id be overreacting by just refusing to go and take her the shirts. im open to hearing if im in the wrong here.

so AITAH for refusing to take her the order and pick up the rest, or did she overreact?

the setlist being cut sucks, yeah. but it’s not near as deep as you guys are making it & demanding an apology is crazy lol
