Drove to Vintage Oaks Costco yesterday and saw appliances outside about to be installed. Super excited. Anyone know when it’ll open aside from “Summer 2026”?

I transfer funds from my credit union to Schwab about 2-3x a month. It shows up in my account immediately but doesn’t clear and available to withdraw or use until about a week after transfer request.

Anyone know how I can get my transfer and clear quicker?

Hello. My wife and I are planning a short vacation during Us Thanksgiving (Thursday to Sunday) to see Christmas markets. We enjoyed the Christmas market so much in Munich last year and want to try Salzburg (since it’s a short train ride) or go to
Vienna.

Plan is to land Thursday night in Munich and back to Munich on Sunday. Dates are 11/26 to 11/29.

Salzburg:
Option 1) We land in Munich airport Thursday night at 6pm. Train to Munich Station then train to Salzburg

Option 2) Drive from Munich Airport Thursday night to Salzburg and back to Munich airport Sunday.

Option 3) Land Thursday night Munich airport. Stay 1 night in Munich near central station, then train Friday morning to Salzburg and train back to Munich Sunday for our flight at 4pm?

Option 4)Fly straight to Vienna instead but we both feel Vienna for realistically 2.5 days is so short for our first time.

I remember on Picard there is the USS Pioneer in Starfleet Ship Museum. I like to think she commands that ship as Captain admirably that the ship deserved to be in the Museum right next to the Enterprises.

Leaning towards the Sheraton for the infinity adult pool. Wanted to know which hotel is best for first time in Honolulu/Waikiki?

Also Waikiki Beach, can we rent an umbrella or is it just chairs and towels?

If we go to the Royal Hawaiian beachfront shared by Sheraton, can we charge the chair and umbrella rental to the room or is that at the rental stand on the beach at Royal Hawaiian?

Thanks Everyone! Booked the Sheraton as they had a great promo for Diamond Head Oceanview Room. About $150 (total) more than Hyatt. Looking forward to the views and experiencing Waikiki.

Love my Aer Go Pack 2 and also have a Aer City Pack Pro 2. Is there a bag that is like the Go Pack 2 that is light weight, external side pockets but in 24-26L?

The CPP2 is great but it does get heavy. Even with Ultra, fabric makes it look thick.

Turning 62 soon and my old company pension payout will be starting.

I have $150k for lump sum or $920 a month.

Trying to figure out if I should take the lump sum and invest in something like VOO/VT/SCHD/SPY the next 10ish years. Or just take the $920 a month for the rest of my life.

I am still employed and plan to work 5/6 more years.

I have a 401k, IRA, and Social Security (will try to payout 68)

I am in fairly decent health but you never know.

Updating:

1. Own the home… just paying property tax and insurance.
2. Car is paid off and paying car insurance. Not planning to anytime soon but If I do buy a car again, it’ll be a Honda/Toyota/EV and I can pay cash.
3. No debt minus house bills (Gas/Power/Internet/CellPhone)

We are planning to go to Europe the week of Thanksgiving, November 21 to 29. And will be in Prague November 26 to 29.

Looking at the Christmas markets calendar, Prague’s main Christmas market Old Town Square and Wenceslas opens November 28. That would mean We only have 1 days to see it technically.

Do the two stalls main markets “unofficially” atleast open a day or 2 early? Maybe a soft opening? That we can still enjoy Old Town and Wencelas or only the smaller ones are open that time and we have to wait for the main one on the 28th?

I’ve been on Fi for 10 years (since Project Fi).

Happy with my service, but I’ve been thinking if Google Fi goes away randomly like Google likes to do with services and products, what’s our backup for very good international travel service like Fi?

Service is great both here in the US and internationally. Wife loves landing at a new country and automatically being able to use data with out thinking.

Any good international competitors for travel?

1st year renewing our 2025 M3LR. Surprised and annoyed that the CA Registration renewal is $770.

WhatsApp are others paying in California for registration? Is this normal. It’s so expensive and seems abnormal.

Which hotel between the Venetian and Wynn properties is a good place to stay for Christmas Holiday vibes?

Recently moved to a two bedroom apartment. We have 500mbps internet and currently have a 6+.

2nd bedroom barely gets reception sometimes none.

Should we add another 6+ node or upgrade to a single 6e pro or eero 7?

Looking online difference is only $40 between the 3 routers?

I think the wall is thick so trying to figure out how to get a better signal on the room and using one router. Wife does not want the eero 7 max or pro 7 because of the “tall design”.

Would one 6e pro or eero 7 router address wall penetration?

The 20L CPP2 measures 17.5” and the 24L is 18”

Width and depth are the same for both. Does that .5” difference make a big bump?

How is that .5” making 4 extra liters?

I feel like the 20L seems smaller.

My 48 hour tin cloth bag has a strong moldy smell I see online.
