So I’m 33 and live with two other male roommates around the same age. And generally have had no issues, but had a bizarre altercation yesterday with one of them. For context I generally walk around the aptm in my underwear if there are no guests around, usually because I’m just grabbing something from the kitchen. One of my roommates has asked me to wear pants more, and to an extent I have (other one could care less outside of some Walter White jokes). But I walked into the kitchen in my underwear and he was there, he said nothing but walked up behind me and no joke gave me a wedgie so bad my feet left the floor and my waistband ripped. This guy is twice my size, and he basically said he will do it again unless I wear pants around the aptm. I cursed him out and haven’t brought it up since. I’ve been wearing pants all the time now, but I feel like a pushover for not contacting our landlord. But I’m also embarrassed that happened to me as a grown man. What should I do in this situation?

Or did this game make anyone else paranoid about getting wedgied? Was not something that I thought much of before but after playing this game I don’t trust anyone walking up behind me lmao

So it was recently brought up to me by a friend that I wear really out of style underwear (classic Hanes briefs). To an extent I already knew, they got laughs in high school gym ect. But I figured that stigma doesn’t really exist anymore since I haven’t heard it in a long time. Guys, are tighty whities still seen as nerdy / uncool? Or was that just more of an early 2000s thing?

If you think a girl is going to see them, what kind of underwear do you typically go with? I’ve been out of the dating scene a long time and am kind of insecure with my underwear game. I’ve worn traditional hanes briefs my whole life and never thought much of it. But after I told my best friend I was going to date again, first thing he said is get new underwear or no girl will take me seriously. So basically need you guys to convince me as well and some suggestions on other options are appreciated
